Every single time I walk in, the employees are talking on the phone, ear buds in or sometimes on speaker. SO lazy and slow, not even paying attention to customers. The store is always in disarray. Who manages this store? Should be fired along with all of the employees. Needs a new demographic of employees.

Very rude the white girl with raggy hair was very rude to me and my family I wouldn’t recommend going here at all she was a pure b$!”#Excuse my language but it’s true she wouldn’t even write down a recipe when I asked and she said “do it ur self” like who hired her? That was just very rude 😤

Being the only place to shop for basic groceries and needs in Grifton, it is essential to the town.Employees are decent. Great selection of goods and they do their best to keep stock of all items offered.Best to go before evening when it's not so crowded.

Well organized. Just have to make sure you get packages yourself. Cashier was not helpful that I have had several times there. Cashier's always need to make sure the customer received their purchases from the checkout counter.

Since the only grocery store that was there isn't any longer Dollar General does offer a selection of grocery items to purchase if you need something to hold you over till you can get to a grocery store with a larger selection and for produce especially fresh this store will do. I am surprised though, I bought a pair of shades w/ a bifocal lens, I put them in my car because I would need them than. Two days later I got in my car and was getting the shades to put on, I opened the earpiece it broke so I took them back to exchange and because I didn't have a receipt I was not allowed to exchange them. I emailed the customer service number and left a message regarding what took place, I have not heard back from them. I placed a call and had to leave a message I did haven't heard from that place either. I any paid $8 for the shades but that is second to the fact that no one cares to return a call and explain why I wasn't able to exchange the shades. I am pretty sure I won't do any more shopping there.

This store is poorly managed the majority of the employees are great there is one manager who would offer name who took a item from my hand that was on the sales floor and informed me it was not for sale due to it being in a stock rack which was open and in the middle of the store with no signs saying it was off limits and rudely made a spectacle of me in front of customers and other shoppers I shop here a lot and was shocked by the treatment I received from a manager

Purchased cigarettes from this store and when got home 5mins after leaving the store and noticed cashier gave me the wrong item and returned back to the store all in a 10 minute time spend and couldn't exchange for what brand I asked for. Not a happy customer at. Why ask me when I buy them and I had the receipt to show time and day then to say you can't do anything want be going back.

The Dollar General in Grifton, NC is an extremely busy store. The employees are very polite, even when dealing with angry customers. The store is tidier than it was in the past. The prices are cheaper for food products than Grifton's only grocery store. The employees remember the frequent customers and interact nicely.

Store is gross and unorganized. Clerk lied, saying they have to keep coupons even if customer changes their mind; and did not give me back my coupon when I didn’t go through with the transaction

Typical Dollar General. Shelves were being stocked so there was alot if empty product holes on the shelves but staff is helpful when need be.

Dollar general has let its employees and community down here at this store....theres been no ac here for over 2 weeks and stock in the refrigerators is non existent..customers and employees deserve better

I was totally disappointed in the fact that they have raised their prices. $4.95 for a 12 pack of Mountain Dew. That’s outrageous. After that I didn’t want to shop anymore.

Long line at checkout, cashier didn't bother to call for assistance. Put bleach with food, had to put bleach in separate bag myself n no thank you, have a great day or nothing. Poor mngr. Leads to poor employees.
