Fresh Market carries healthy clean ingredients and snacks! The items can be a little pricy, but at least it's good quality. If you're looking for a good clean bar try the KiZe or the Perfect Bar.TFM do offer great sales each week, and they have a loyalty program that can take a bit off of the total sometimes.The attendants are normally friendly and willing to assist.Don't rush in at 8am to get coffee; for some reason it's almost never ready at 8am; the attendants normally recommend for you to shop around and come back around to the coffee station...which is really an inconvenience if you didn't stop in to shop.Normally some of the muffins and pastries aren't out in the case at 8am either... but if you ask the attendants, they will give you what you looking for, if they have it.The hot bar/deli section have great food items, however after a certain time they don't replenish the items, so if it's something you want, you have to get it early.They have a beautiful selection of flowers and plants for reasonable prices!They also have cards and gift baskets for any occasion.There is ample amount of parking space and close parks are available if needed...It's cool to go in and look around at all of the unique items that they have; the normally carry lots of items that other places do not sell.TFM offers a relaxing shopping experience!

If you care about the quality of your food (organic, pasture raised, grass fed, local) this is the grocery store for you. Really good variety of snacks and fresh produce. Lots of baked goods. The store is very clean & organized. Smells like spices & coffee. The classical music & decor is the perfect touch 👌🏻

I really love coming here. Especially if you want something different to try. The atmosphere is really nice. The meat market & the deli, the produce & the bakery departments are amazing!!! If you come here, expect to spend quite a bit of money. It is definitely on the pricey side.

Usually a good place to shop. Tried the Thanksgiving meal they had and the sides were good. Turkey fresh market brand absolutely sucked. Worst of all, they gave us Hawaiian rolls right from the isle instead of the yeast rolls from the bakery that were supposed to be in there.

I love Fresh Market.Prices are on the higher end, but they do have items for sale, which you can't find in other stores.Very well cleaned, the deli has salads and sandwiches that taste so good, but I must admit the deli service itself is becoming very lacking. I have complained to the corporation about.It seems people working there are just not happy anymore. The checkers and other staff seem to be really happy, though, and willing to step up to make thus a great experience.

I am a frequent customer at the Greenville NC location, and the only reason I keep going there is because they have items that I can't find at Publix or Harris Teeter. Here goes my beef with this store. Every time I go in this particular store, I always find something that is expired. I have even walked up to the chubby Caucasian manager (sorry – don’t know his name) and let him know on several occasions they have expired food on the shelves, and he doesn't seem to care at all. Tonight, February 15, 2024 I walked in and bought things that I needed and everything seemed okay with the expiration dates. Well, pardon me for stepping out of my lane - I spoke to quickly, because I walked over to the bread area for my last purchase of the night, and became very agitated. I am talking about every package they had on the shelf for the BP Vegan Sweet Potato wraps had the expiration date of November 2023. I literally picked up each and every one of those packages, which could have been 20 or so, and BAM it is stamped with the year 2023. Hello.... it is February 2024 and please tell me why you have 2023 items still in the store? You know what… I didn't even bother looking for a manager, because you have no luck in this particular store. I had to go to another store to buy the wraps. I am not lying when I say this I can go to any area of the store and find something expired. In December of 2023, I walked over by the Deli area where the containers of cheese are located, and all but one container of cheese had specks of mold in them and guess what EXPIRED. In addition, in December I had to take a package of green beans back it had mold all in the bag. Didn't surprise me, and NO I didn't look for a manager. When I see the one manager in the store I keep walking, his demeanor is not one I care for, due to the lack of the “I really don't care he always has glued to his face.” If the other grocery stores carried the certain items I buy from Fresh Market, I would definitely forget this one altogether. Yes, of course I will be back in the store, and you can bet your bottom dollar I will find expired items on the shelf. But if the expiration of foods continue I will move on to another store. Please pay attention and remove expired items, some things can actually make people sick if eaten.

On January 21st I purchased these pomegranate seeds when I went to open them I looked at the expiration date and it was January 14th, that’s 6 days it was sitting on their shelf past the expectation date. Expecting it to be fresh in the fresh market I purposefully went there for the first time to try these because I never have before and they were 8$ for expired seeds. Who knows how many of those cups on the shelf are out of date. Almost a week at that. This can make people SICK. very disappointed.

Pros: Good Variety, Some Healthy Options, Yummy Bakery, Organic Options, Friendly StaffCons: "Fresh" Market that struggles to maintain fresh produce. I went there yesterday and all the organic bananas were mush. I have found mold on their produce more than once. Their bakery has yummy options, but not a lot of options for those with food intolerances. The store is overpriced.

Not so fresh. We purchased some items on 10/23. Last night as we were having some pie, I looked down and the entire filling was covered in mold. This is the day after the sell by date. Completely unacceptable. Not to mention, I’m 8 months pregnant.

Beware. If you enjoy GMO and poison frankenfood by Bill Gates feel free to grab yourself some Apeel fruits and veggies. The “fresh” in fresh market is a clear misnomer. The impression of health is what you’re paying the extra money for.

I love going to Fresh Market for fresh flowers, candies, coffees and baked goods. Very calm atmosphere with a unique selection of food items. If you haven't visited their store you're missing out, browsing is free and fun. You'll feel welcomed to take your time to explore.

I usually love fresh market but last time I went the male employee that was slicing my deli meat for me was not the friendliest. I told him twice that I wanted half a pound and I didn’t realize until I got to check out that he gave me a pound. Which is only for me and I’m not going to eat that much and pay for more than I wanted. I told the check out lady and she gladly went back and fixed it but was rude when doing so and told me next time to tell him (which I would’ve but didn’t realize). I will now be going to Harris teeter for my deli meat. Not a big deal but really doesn’t want to make you revisit a store when the employees are rude.

Always enjoy shopping here. From a purely grocery shopping experience, its kind of fun to come here. Fresh and clean at all times and a great selection of foods that you can't find at the run of the mill stores around. Sure it's a bit more expensive but worth it in my opinion.

I have driven by this place many times but never gone inside. I went this morning and was glad I did. I always assume stores with names like this are bougie and overpriced. I was pleasantly surprised to find alot of things were cheaper than or the same price I pay at other grocery stores like Walmart or Food Lion. The store is very well lit but not bright florescent lights. Everything was extremely clean and organized. I loved how they had fresh flowers, a bakery, a deli, a meat counter, a large selection of wine, a lot of prepackaged meals to prepare at home and they also have alot of candy bins! I was able to get things here that I haven't seen anywhere else. I got fresh bacon for only $8.99/lb and it was on special for BOGO today. I also found Voss sparkling water and I haven't been able to find that anywhere for years. This is my new favorite store!

I’m giving 2 stars bc I love the variety of stuff they have but every time I go there is at least 1 or more items that I’ve purchased that are expired. Or there are items I want with no best by dates on them. I know I should check, but also why is expired stuff still on the shelves? I love this store but i won’t be coming back anytime soon.

I normally enjoy my experience at The Fresh Market. But Brandon in the meat department needs a serious attitude adjustment. He did not greet me and he didn’t say anything as he put the meat I was purchasing on the counter. As I stood by the meat counter, I was the only customer at that time and he continued his conversation with his coworker as I waited and waited. He even sighed when I asked for something additional. I would say maybe he was having a bad day but Brandon’s attitude is always like this. Perhaps if I had a choice, I would have waited for someone else to assist me.

I love the store. But I had the worst experience with the cashier named Gail last week. I won’t go into detail here. But the amount of condescending language and borderline yelling made me sick to my stomach. Maybe she was just having a bad day. But in the 4 years that I have been visiting Fresh Market of Greenville I have never left the store feeling so small and baffled by the confrontational nature of a cashier.

This place really is a blessing to have in our city. They have the best meats in town period. I don't know what I would do without their steaks. It's the only place around that you can find prime grade steaks, colossal shrimp, etc. They have a very respectable seafood and cheese selection as well. They have old-fashioned candy, fresh coffee beans and exotic spices that you can't find in normal grocery stores. Their bakery is very nice, they have items such as macarons and cannolis. However, my only criticism lies with the bakery, I just wish they had containers that protect their pastries a little better. I don't want to spend $3 for each macaron just for them to get broken, or spend $6 on a slice of cake to have the icing on top destroyed. I'm not a wine drinker but they do seem to have some good wines there. They seem to focus on more expensive, high quality items that normal grocery stores might not carry. This place really is a step above the rest, might cost a couple dollars more but you get what you pay for.

Favorite place for fresh seafood and meats! Awesome bakery! They could have a better brand for cold cuts but they have a great produce section aswell as hard to find items.. make sure you stop by the candy and nut section and get some freshly ground honey peanut butter! Great selection of cheeses aswell!

This place is so neat, clean, and absolutely stunning! However, most of the staff is very rude. Most employees looked at us and just stared. My bf and I ordered a tart from the bakery. The man behind the counter never greeted us or anything. He was rough with the pastry and honestly seemed like he didn't care. (I used to work at a grocery store and I totally get it sometimes you just have a tough day.) But then my boyfriend and I found 3 bits of plastic in our tart when we ate it afterwards. I went back in to inform the cashier who was so incredibly kind and sweet about it. I'm sure they will correct it and inform their other employees they need to be a bit more friendly. But those few who were friendly seemed like wonderful people. I would go back but probably skip the pastry section.

Always great, fresh food, but the last time I went, their Apple Pay wasn’t working, and nobody said anything until I was checking out and told “oh, that doesn’t work right now.” I didn’t have my wallet on me and had no choice but to leave with nothing. A heads up as I came in the door would have been convenient for both me and the cashier.

You can enjoy a trip here even if you’re on a budget. The bakery/deli is amazing and offers options you won’t find in FL or HT. The prices are pretty fair for the portion sizes and always FRESH. The store is beautiful on the inside with dimmed lighting and relaxing music. They often give out samples as well as free coffee to sip while you browse the isles which are always clean and organized. It’s a great place to find unique/quality ingredients for a special date night meal or meals that will impress your guests.
