Great store .. great staff working hard and having fun while doing it. Cashier was super helpful in helping me use my target gift card .. I had no idea but she knew it and we went through it fast.

I don’t know what target these other reviewers are seeing but it must not be this one. This is genuinely one of the worst targets i’ve ever seen and i’m shocked that target district has allowed it to continue to operate this way. The store is insanely messy, the staff are clearly stretched thin and not given adequate support and the the management is clearly VERY poor. I feel bad for anyone who has to shop here and i pray highly for the people forced to work here. I understand it is a college town but it is an embarrassment to the target brand.

I will never shop at target again. I would like to make a complaint on store manager Natasha, I have been a loyal target shopper for over 2 years, and I’m also a mini verse fan. I have purchased over 1,000 in mini verse from this location, and until today no complaints, I had even bragged on this target in a Facebook group with over 2k members because of how target (multiple others bragged on targets all over the us) never gave me a issue when I bought the whole box of mini verse and was able to take the display with it. I have done this over 10 times with no issue, both through self checkout and a normal register. Until today. Today I purchased $167.76 worth of mini verse balls, the entire case and went to take the case with my purchase as I have done countless times before, at the end of my purchase the cashier informed me “just so you know you’re not getting this display” I asked her to verify because I’ve never been told this, and seems ludicrous since I’m spending $167 on balls. The “executive director” of toys I suppose? Jessica or Jennifer then said the same thing stating they would reuse the display, I am familiar with how products come in and it comes in a display case so that makes 0 sense. I explained my frustrations as I can’t fathom how someone couple spend this much money with a business and then not be allowed to take the box that all 24 balls were in. After going back and forth with her, I went to leave, and then thought about the principal and decided I would return all 24 balls because that’s ridiculous, I can buy the entire case somewhere else. I asked to speak to the store manager thinking surely if you call me a “guest” I mean more to you then a display box, I got my refund, and then Natasha came up there. I explained how I was upset that I have always been allowed to take the box (even as recent as last week) and it just doesn’t make sense, she says since there is product in there she can’t allow it (granted the display product is empty, so outside of a plastic bowl and spoon that sure on display and other minor toppings it’s value is probably .75 cents) and if her employees did that she would terminate them. I totally understand what she is saying, but I’m not a employee, I’m a “guest” that spends thousands with your corporation. My biggest complaint is why has this been allowed 10 times prior and never addressed. Her excuse was she’s only been there for a few months and she didn’t know this was a issue. But that’s not on me to ensure her associates are trained and following company guidelines, and I shouldn’t have been the one that got a poor experience from it. I totally would have been fine if she apologized and said here for today you can take it, but moving forward we will not be able to. Because if I’m really a “guest” and you “value my business” and “never want to lose a guest” that’s what any logical person would have done. If I spend $500/month at target over a lifetime that’s 300k. Now I will never shop target again over a display box, that she then informed me will go into the trash. This is simply poor business and not keeping the customer top of mind.

I absolutely loved the treatment I got from Carmilla! She was very kind and went above and beyond to make sure I bagged my gifts and concealed them from my friends (secret Santa gifts). A very memorable target experience thanks to her!

I was standing at the technology desk and 5 workers saw me and proceeded to walk down isles to avoid me. 3 of which were walking in with huge bags of food to the back. So I don’t know if they had a little lunch party in the back but do it after hours if you’re gonna do it. If this is isn’t bad customer service I don’t know what is. I mean this is laughable that Target out of all places is like this. You guys need to come and actually train your employees and make sure they are in their right spots. I would be embarrassed if I was a worker and saw someone waiting and completely avoided them. Eventually a worker who avoided us and walked down the aisle on her phone to avoid us came over to ask if we needed help when she definitely saw that we needed help a while ago. Seems like they are always hiring but can never hire the people that actually want to work. Maybe do deeper interviews with your workers before you officially hire them. Customer service is a joke nowadays.

Target is always good value for money. With drive up pickup and easy returns you can almost never go wrong with the purchase. Their price match policy with most competitors makes them stand out from the rest of online marketplace.

Some of the laziest workers I've ever seen. We were looking at a stroller in the baby section and the gentleman working there that day said that the specific stroller was on recall... Came back home, did all the research and it wasn't even on recall. Then we tried to buy a different one online for pick up but couldn't finish transaction- no big deal, well just go inside the store. Couldn't find that specific one even though it said they had it in stock. Asked an associate and she said it's in the back of a truck somewhere and they won't get it out until who knows... Meanwhile, nearby target (new Bern and rocky mount) seems to be working like they should and we were able to purchase it. Honestly, y'all need a new management team cause while there's shortage of staff everywhere, everywhere else seems to be OK but not y'all. And lines are always so long for check out. Doesn't matter if it's cashier or self checkout, be prepared to wait longer than usual.

If I could leave no stars I would they lie to you and make you look bad they sell items for more then what they are priced for they don't keep their word. So take your money somewhere else cause Target don't care all they want to do is steal your money and they are getting away with it cause you might not be adding things up as you pick things up and they got you my daughter went to get a heater that was for 22.99 and they said that she couldn't get it for that price cause it was priced wrong which is not her fault so they don't keep their word they just take your money so go somewhere else cause if not you getting ripped off

Today I asked to use a 15 dollar coupon because in the past I had not received. I’m told I have to purchase more items to actually use. Then I realize that one of the bags, with vinegar, is very heavy. I stated that it needed a double bag. I was told she had no bags. I stated that I did not want items. I was told too late it had been rung up. I’d have to go inside. If stuff is ruined this time I’ll be furious. The person bringing to the car did not care. I said I’d make a complaint. Her reply, ok. It’s frustrating to be supporting a business that thinks this is ok along with two other bad experiences. I guess they have enough business.

I was greeted and helped thru out my journey in Target by not a Target employee but by a third party phone surveyor . She was very helpful and assisted me with finding my product . Never said I dont work here dont ask me questions and that was very refreshing ! Customer service was great here . I had a cashier take her time and explain to me how to use my Apple Pay option and she was so patient with me .

I want to give more stars but to hear great things about this place just to receive below one star customer service. I still have polish on my finger and it wasn’t removed. The tech just seem not interested in the care of my hands at all. This wasn’t and overall good experience for me and I wish it was different.

This target is wonderful, but super tiny. I only do the drive-up orders, because dealing with half of Pitt County in that cluster parking lot will give you cardiac arrest with almost being hit four times. The app is THE bomb, because it keeps track of both in-store AND online orders, which is the best thing ever if you are forever losing the receipt your child is screaming to hold. There is no FOUR DOLLAR pick-up fee (stares at Sam's Club) and they have like 40 more drive up spots than other stores (stares at Walmart). I really think Pitt County would REALLY benefit from a regular-sized, large target (hell, I'd love a Super Target), but anything bigger than the tiniest store I have ever been inside. I would love to see an upgrade or an additional Target! Put it on the east side of Pitt County, both targets next to both Walmarts. I, most often than not, have pick-up orders at both stores. Also, please continue the gift card deals, because that's all I have I have time for, being a former full-time couponer. Also, that dollar section is the devil. I was going in for one thing not to spend $65 on stupid $3 toys. How did that happen?!? The Magic of Target.

The workers here are so careless I had to go to three different people (manager included) to finally be shown where one item was. I got the last two workers name because they took the time to stop what they was doing and walked me where I needed to go. Theodora and Brittany are outstanding employees! They’ll be the only reason for my return to this store! Thanks girls!
