The staff are very welcoming, nice and understanding of different dogs with different behavioral issues. My dog is new to us, and we are still working on her recall so she barks a lot, jumps even worse and is very scared around new people. I was pleased with the service of the people as well as the time it took. We dropped her off at 8am, I had her by 9am. My issue with this place was the inconsistency of pricing and non transparency. I booked her appointment online in which I put her main breed in order to find her coat type. It computed out that she had short/medium hair and that the price would be $57. When I get there, the lady checks me in and prints out the invoice, where she changed my cut to long without clarification or letting me know of this change (my dog definitely does not have long hair in any capacity) which made it $70. I was a little upset but let it go for time being. When I go to pick up my dog, the lady directs me to pay first before seeing my dog. Once I finally see her, it looked like she maybe had a trim at best. Her tail, ears and neck looked almost identical to what they were prior to dropping her off. The only thing that looked like it had been cut was her nails and paw pads. I was told this was because of the way her coat is, but I paid over $100 for this visit for my dog to look the same and still have dandruff. I was very disappointed, I understand grooming isn’t cheap and having a dog is an added expense in general, but being a college student and going into something expecting one thing and getting something completely different is a hard pill to swallow. If your dog has a “complex” coat I wouldnt take my pup here. You could probably pay the same price somewhere else where theyre more experienced in different types of coats.

My dog’s tail was badly cut by the clippers to the point where I have to take him to the vet. I’ve called the 1800 number to also file a complaint and have not heard anything back. Also to add insult to injury the cut he received is nothing that I wanted

I have it 3 stars not b/c of the staff but b/c of Petco's policy. From an observational vue before bring checked in I watched the staff interact w/the different breed & size of dogs & they were absolutely wonderful. The dog's owners had chosen a particular groomer for there furbaby & each groomer took the time to come out & greet the dog & interact w/the dog before the dog would leave its owner to be groomed. The lady that was goin to groom the dog that I had taken up there (for a friend) was phenomenal w/Rissa. Unfortunately, Rissa wasn't able to taken back to be groomed due to her not wanting to walk to the grooming station on the slip leash they had to put on her b/c there policy says "No" to using the dog's personal collar & leash. And also b/c Rissa want comfortable being blow dried & due to the loud noise(s) of the other blow dryers being used. So, basically, if you book an appt w/them whatever package you choose that's what you're goin to get b/c if you tell them not to do a certain thing they'll tell you due to their policy they can't groom your dog.

Groomers were calm and soothing and let our dog get over nervousness. They treated her well, and gave her good scores on how she was with them (she's a rescue dog, and can be anxious around new people, especially men). She came out looking and smelling good, and didn't show any signs of distress.

Laura did a great job with my anxious boy's first grooming appointment. He is so soft and doesn't have impacted undercoat anymore. Will def be back in a few months to do it again.

After waiting about 40 min, someone found the person who was going to groom my dog. She was not very friendly. She did not apologize for me having to stand in the entry for such a long time. I have back and knee pain that made it an especially painful wait for me. I won't being going back to this store.

The staff was wonderful, I have a very cute, but mixed breed puppy and the groomer helped me decide how to have her hair cut and then did an excellent job carrying out the plan. Can't wait to take her back again!

Easy to make appointment on line. Not having to wait 2 or 3 weeks to even get an appointment. My dog Casey was cut exactly as I requested. The groomers were super friendly and up beat.

Mariah takes exceptional care of JJ. After just one visit to her she remembered him exactly and also remember how I prefer him groomed. You can tell and she truly loves and cares for him.I feel so comfortable leaving JJ with her I know that she will show him love and that he will have a great time.

Laura is Awesome provides fantastic grooming for Tadpole, my problem is your App and the inability of your store employees and corporate to solve the problem of my not getting grooming credits I've made numerous calls and attempts to correct the problem as of my last visit my account still does not reflect grooming services.
