Our fur baby gets easily scared at the vet and around new people. The staff were incredibly accommodating and patient. Despite taking time to make our girl comfortable, we left the appointment in 30 minutes. They are quick and professional. Dr. Conroy is topnotch! She is always very thorough and thoughtful in her care. I have never felt rushed during my appointments and always feel encouraged to ask questions. She has even called the day after a sick visit to check on our sweet Yogi. 💙

I have been taking my cats here four about 4 years and I am pleased with the care my cats have received. Everyone who I have interacted with has been pleasant and helpful. Dr Conroy is nice and thorough concerning what has to be done for my pets. I would recommend this veterinarian facility to anyone who is seeking good pet care.

The receptionist was great. Thomas was a new patient and they took the time to explain most of the procedures I could get for him and how they all work. They gave me prices for everything I may need. They didn’t overwhelm me with high pricing making me feel like I needed to get everything all at once. The atmosphere was clean and calming for Thomas and myself. His Dr was very gentle with him and the technician explained the answers to my questions plainly. Thank you so much for making this experience very easy for both me and my fur baby Thomas. He will be back for all of his pet needs.

We have been going to animal Hospital of Pitt County for many years. Their veterinarians are top rate. They provide excellent care, and everyone who works there is knowledgeable and kind. They always remember who our pets are, and last year guided us and cheered along with us when our dog Rudy had a herniated disc and had to have surgery.We would never consider going anywhere else

We are extremely happy with Dr. Eldridge. She acts as though she really cares about our tow babies. We are very protective of our girls and always want the best care. Dr. Eldridge is the Vet we like best because we’ve known her longer and there is a security with her.

The visit was definitely more than what I planned but I got to do what I gotta do to take care of my new fur baby. I also loved that was able to text and get an answer prior to going in. Payed some pretty shillings for my cat to get two whacky pictures using electromagnetic energy, get prescribed the equivalent of Tylenol for cats, and told that all I could do was wait.In addition, I was given the medicine for my cat with unsecured syringe caps causing it to spill in the bag. Once I returned, I was charged for new medicine regardless of the fact that I wasn’t able to prevent the spilling of the initial doses.I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt since my first visit wasn’t unpleasant but it is unfortunately is overshadowed by my last visit.

They have been seeing my dog since he was a puppy. He is 10 now. They are thorough in his exam and very willing to answer any of my questions. The staff is very courteous and I have had nothing but positive experiences. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Eldridge is an exceptional veterinarian. I recommend her without reservation. In contrast, Dr. Conroy is a horrible veterinarian. Non-existent people skills. Lackluster medical understanding. Unless you are guaranteed to get Dr. Eldridge, or at least guaranteed to not have to deal with Dr. Conroy, you should avoid this animal hospital. Dealing with her is not worth it at all.

Animal Hospital of Pitt County is a great vet. We felt comfortable as soon as we walked it. The vet tech that took us with our dogs back was very sweet ,esp to our rat terrier who was freaking out a little. They answer our questions and when they took our dog to the back to get blood for heartworm blood work she was talking so nice to my Rat . Dr Conroy was very nice and recommended a few this but told us its your choice. She didnt push us into anything and we felt like she really cared about our 2 older dogs 6 and 11.. Just some vitamins to help them with joint issues later. I would highly recommend Animal Hospital of Pitt County . Another visit and got to meet Dr Eldridge! Loved her and we will be getting a teeth cleaning very soon. We are so lucky to have a great vet so close

They showed no compassion for My Mom and Stepdad's dog when he was dying. They didn't want to treat him in an emergency situation even though they had been taking him there for years. I would never take my fur babies there. It was the worst and most traumatic experience of my parents life.

I am so appreciative of the care Oliver received recently. He was a very sick kitty and Drs. Miner and Eldridge took fantastic care of him. A collaborative decision was made to be aggressive with his care and as a result, he is on his way to being fully recovered. I loved the way the doctors consulted with one another, informed me about their thoughts and supported Ollie and me throughout the process. The staff was very friendly, helpful and patient with me. Gadget could not stand up or walk before we took him to the vet. He was shaking all over, whimpering and we were so afraid he would not make it. The vet gave him steroids and some antibiotics for his ears. In a matter of hours he was walking, jumping and back to his old self. We are so thankful for everyone who helped him get well. ❤️‍ 🐶🐾

Update: Dr. Ann Miner and one of her vet techs very loudly and rudely made several comments about my dog and I both. It was unprofessional and honestly disgusting. I would never bring my dog back after hearing the way she spoke about him and myself.My dog is a rescue and gets defensive around strangers. Our previous vet had made some comments that I wasn’t okay with, so I moved him here. I told them my concerns about the last vet and they seemed to take them seriously and treat him well. I could hear them praising him in the back. Despite this, I still take several precautions (such as muzzling him when I know strangers have to be in his space) and holding him very tight.Two days ago, I took him to the another emergency vet due to not eating, black/liquid stool, and vomiting profusely. They got him in, saw him, gave him some meds, and suggested I follow up with his primary vet since they would be cheaper and to make sure it isn’t something like internal bleeding. I agreed and made an appointment with Dr. Miner.Fast forward to this afternoon, I go in for my appointment, bring all my paperwork in from the previous vet visit, and wait in the room for the vet to come in. Before she even comes into the room, I can very loudly hear Dr. Miner and a vet tech saying: “If he’s eating again then why the f is she even here?”, “What the f does she expect me to do?”, “If she wants to waste her money then that’s on her.”, etc. I hope that maybe she isn’t talking about my dog and I, but then she begins to go into detail about his symptoms and what vaccines he will be due for next month. She then proceeds to tell her tech that “He’s been good so far but apparently he’s a massive a-hole, yeah his notes say he’s an a-hole.”. This is all very loud, to the point where I almost just take my dog and leave. The only reason I didn’t, was because I need to make sure my dog is okay.The entire ordeal was completely unprofessional, mishandled, and frankly disgusting. As someone who works in the animal profession, I cannot imagine ever speaking about a client or their dog (that they are scared is very sick) like that. The supervisor was made aware and I hope that it gets taken seriously.1. I brought my dog as suggested by the emergency veterinarian to follow up on his symptoms. That is why “the f” I’m here.2. What I do with my money is none of anyone’s concern, especially if it is going towards your establishment and a paycheck.3. Per the question “What the f does she want me to do?”, I expect you to do your job and make sure my dog is healthy. I would love for nothing to be wrong, and if that’s the case, tell me professionally.Most people are in the animal profession because they care about the animals they are caring for. Unfortunately, this was not what I experienced today.
