The best pet shop in the area.The whole experience is reminiscent of a simpler time. A time when pet stores had animals you could pet and interact with. When employees were helpful and knowledgeable about their products. A time of soft bunny fur and sleeping kitties.Don't think about it. If you have pet needs, try this place first.

The employees are racist. My boyfriend went to get me a few things and he didn’t tell me until he got back from this location that the employees were rude, took his items out of his hands and placed them at the register. They kept following him around and watching him but never engaging in conversation. He felt completely judged just because he is a person of color, the employees only engaged with other white customers. He didn’t get the chance to grab the things i wanted because of this awful experience.

It's a wonderful place. if you're going to shop for aquariums, fish items, aquatic pets and live pet food this is the best choice locally. A lot of options and great prices. For the price of an aquarium at petsmart I was able to fully accommodate my new born turtle's, 2 adult turtles, and get a new Dubois and mealworm culture started for Under $123 total. I have raised turtles frogs and hermit crabs for many years so I know just about everything there is to know about them. I can confidently say if you have these species of animals this is one of the best place to visit. My experience with the store was mostly positive but I did have one negative interaction I did not like to see hermit crabs in a purely sand environment. if you can please replace the digging medium with Coco fiber, Eco Earth, or exo terra as they require higher humidity and sand is not conducive to maintaining consistent humidity. The sand environment won't harm the hermit crabs but I strongly believe it's best to represent a good habitat.

Had the pleasure of speaking with Kaitlyn this morning about our upcoming Parakeet (Budgie) purchases. She was an absolute delight to talk to, extremely knowledgeable and patient with my many questions. Also this store's prices are so much better than their competition. Even though we have a one hour drive to Greensboro it is definitely worth it, to work with such wonderful people. We will be regular customers for a long time, and refer everyone to them that we can. Keep up the good work!

We went to Greensboro specifically to look at this store because they are the only ones who carry parakeets/budgies, which we are researching. The staff there are very helpful and knowledgeable! They have a wide variety of toys and equipment and supplies needed for all kinds of pets. They also had bunnies, a kitty for adoption, ferrets, guinea pigs, various reptiles, plenty of fish, and some mice. It was a clean store with a nice atmosphere! We look forward to our next visit when we are ready to enter the realm of budgie ownership!

Great shopping experience. I liked their selection of fish and aquarium plants. While the choices were a little limited, what they had there was really nice and well presented. Employees were knowledgeable and fantastic to deal with. They also carry products the other stores don't have. I'll be shopping here for awhile for all my aquarium needs.

Did not appreciate being ignored by the staff in the store for ten minutes and then when I finally get assistance the staff refused to sell me fish saying only 3 small guppies are allowed in a 5 gallon tank… the hypocrisy is astounding! The tanks in this store are crammed with fish!! Their bettas are living in practically Dixie cups. Treat your customers better & your fish!
