They are the best people I know. Their prices are reasonable, and I would rather give them my money than the larger hardware stores. If you are in the area, please stop in and meet Jerry, David, Venessa, and Kim(Jerry's wife). They are always glad to meet new people who hopefully will become friends.

Best place for 50 miles around! Lovely, friendly local people. Very informative about local attractions and everything else. Fresh sliced FDA approved LOCAL meat and local produce. You need it ? They have it ! Going back in the morning for some of that meat! Awesome lady even told us where to rent kayaks! 10 stars out of 5 !

Stopped here for the first time about a month ago. Best store ever! Love how they sell real meat from local farmers at reasonable prices! ❤ The store has everything one needs from groceries to hardware & plumbing, lawn and garden, pet & cattle feed, to clothing. Prices are fair and the people are friendly and eager to help you. Thank you Griffiths General Store! Customer for life! 💞

I was eager to visit this little store, but unfortunately it was so full of cigarette smoke that I couldn't stay long. Allergies were already bothering me, and the smoky air was more than I could handle. They had lots of tools and equipment plus canned salsas and more. It looked interesting, but if I can't breathe, I can't stay.

Vennesa was awesome, she helped us with veggie seeds. So friendly and helpful. It's worth the trip from Spruce Pine. I found several items that I needed. It's fun just to walk around and check out the inventory and talk to the owners. So cool so much history. Keep up the good work. We'll be back. Tim & Donna

I was visiting friends in the area. After getting horse and chicken feed my friend suggested getting a sandwich here, I laughed and didn't expect much. I had a tomatoe sandwich with mayo, salt and pepper. We sat on the porch drinking soda and eating. I quit laughing and enjoyed the best tomatoe sandwich. Fresh tomatoes from a garden and soft bread. The staff was extremely friendly and made it seem like we were old friends. They made PB&J sandwiches for the kids with the crust cut off. This place is full of history with a wide variety of anything you need.

Griffith's is truly about selling general merchandise, like small community stores used to be. Animal feed, hardware, clothing, supplies, food -- they've got a little of everything. And that's important when you're a ways from other retailers.

Old fashioned feed and seed store. Has everything a small homesteader needs and then some. If they don't have they go out of their way to help you find it or special order it for you. Jerry and David are great people live the whole family.

Friendly great people!! I took my boy's and we bought all of our hunting clothes, boots, and cast iron pans to cook it in!! Spent over $400 and we will be back to buy more!!

Unique store goods are great. Known for years but not as friendly with pp like they used to be maybe they just dont like me anymore. Vanassa acts like she is better than you I wont go back no more made me feel unweme

Although disclaimer going to Griffiths will make you feel like you must be getting bad service everywhere else but Griffiths that's because you feel like family at Griffiths

Oh my gosh! What can I say? Jerry, Vanessa, and Colton will help you find anything you need. Colton repaired our RedMax on the spot which was totally unexpected. Vanessa helped us find things we didn’t know we needed but will not be without now. We made numerous purchases while there. Jerry’s customer service represents “what use to be”, which is good friendly service! Thank y’all!
