I love Dollar General! This is location is close to my house; so I shop here frequently. I like stopping at DG when I need to grab a few essential things or when I need a quick gift. They have a great selection of seasonal decor and party supplies at reasonable prices. The employees are always friendly too!

I love Dollar General and would have gave them 5 stars if they could stay stocked in items. But now they stay out of dog food, laundry supplies, tampons and paper towels.. And that most of the thing i shop for there.

Can get good deals here . However if an item says 2 for $5 that means that item is 2 for $5 . Went and got two bags of lays and the lady behind the counter said it's not working in our system . Not happy at all that I didn't get the deal because of the computer not doing the deal . That's how it was marked I expect that it to be that regardless. Otherwise the store is good. I especially like the 50% off stuff

Nothing is ever restocked! There are retail items constantly laying all over the isles! No one is ever at the cash register to check you out! might as well learn yourself or the products are free!

Absolute worst Dollar General ever. They open late and close early. Never have anything stopped. The staff are rude. I don’t even see why they’re still in business because they’re closed more than they’re open. Just make the trip to Walmart and save yourself the damn trouble ! Only reason they got one star is because it won’t let me put zero stars !!!!

Closed at 9:35-9:40ish. Google says 10:00pmStaff was outside and watched people pull up and left. Save your time and just go to Walmart. At least their the stuff is on the shelves

Parking lot was very messy and unsanitary lots of debree and cigarette butts. People in store helpful but store could be less cluttered. They seemed harried trying to arrange things on floor and wait on customers.

They are friendly help you find what you're looking for staff greets you with A SmileAlways well stocked. I really enjoy shopping there. They are located in same chain of store's of Wal-Mart 321 North towards Lenoir.

Get your employees to help customers when they see them at the register! I dont care if they are putting up inventory or whatever else. I am so sick of waiting at the register after they have seen me and then they decide when ive waited long enough. They need to stop what they are doing and come and take my money when they see me at the register. Every single one of them do this and I'm so tried of being in a rush and trying to get out only to have to wait at the register for 5 minutes until they are finally ready to help. This is based on literally every time i have come to this store. The only thing i can do is go somewhere else I guess. I have also noticed the turnover rate for employees is alarming so theres obviously problems with someone. Just about every 3 to 4 weeks they've got all new employees again. Management needs to act like it and make the change or someone needs to replace the current management because the obvious employee turn over rate is a pretty good indicator that the management sucks. I waited for at least 10 minutes today after I was noticed by two different employees, I'm completely at their mercy as far as waiting. Next time I'm just gonna leave my stuff at the counter and leave the store! Get your stuff together! Ridiculous!

Girls were very helpful and polite. I forgot one of my bags the girl tried to catch me, but I had left. She was very nice and had it behind the counter when I went back. Thank you Ladies!!!

Not one of the neatest Dollar Generals. However, I am pretty sure management has changed hands because it is improving. I could not even walk down aisles a few months ago for full boxes of product in way. And there were rude stock people who acted like you were "in THEIR way" of you wanted something on that aisle.

It has a lot of selection and the employees are really nice. My only complaint is the parking lot. It's just hard if you have a child in a cart. Other than that is great. :)

Very dirty and not easy to shop. Cluttered and junkie. Cashier had jo clue if there were anymore DG gift cards. So messy couldn't find anything. Walked out empty handed. Went to Dollar Tree later the same day and faired much better.

Store is out dated, shelves are nasty. Product are slung everywhere. Rolling carts of freight sitting out blocking aisles. U-boats of freight sitting out not being worked. Rude employees. Would give negative stars if possible.

I've been looking every where for different mask, other than what l had made. All ones to expensive or to thin. They won't help a dang thing. 2 of Dollar General stores had these. Picture included..... l went to 5 different stores. There is more stores in Caldwell County. But I'm not running all over county looking for them. They are 95% Cotton 5% Spandex $2.00 each. They are thick and breathable. 3 other mask l bought l will have to sew in extra liner Christmas one and Carolina Tarhell $8.00 for that one

Most likely managerial issues. Not enough staff? Waiting because there's no one at register isn't at all unusual. If u smoke think twice, they run out and the vendor mislabels so prices aren't right. Friendly staff though!

Very dirty parking lot, cigarette butts, sticky drink spills &trash everywhere. The manager was hateful fussing about having to do her job..the store was a total mess. Won't be going back to that store.
