They claim to have world famous chicken I thought the chicken would at least be good. It might be one of the worst chickens I've ever had. Do better and don't you disrespect the art of chicken ever again. Also the waffles look delicious, well to bad because there one sided like what and it was costly too. I was very disappointed

New Royal Farms gas station now open! Nice and spacious, clean bathrooms, friendly staff. Regular gas was $2.99 a gallon today! Way better than at the beach, get your gas here!

Friendly service, and Kevin helped navigate the ordering process from kiosk to register. The chicken is great. I'd like to see the dipping sauce without the high fructose corn syrup...that's my only issue. Clean, well kept store and the do doordash!

Ordered egg sandwiches. Luckily opened them before driving away. NO EGGS! I went in and person behind the countersaid. “ we are out of eggs”. Why didn’t she say that 2 minutes ago ? “ well you can get a refund “ she said. Very rude. We will never stop there again! TERRIBLE SERVICE AND VERY RUDE.got a refund but wasted 20 minutesand my husband ended up with a piece of sausage on a biscuit.

The manager lady for nights is very rude. Better off going across the street and buying goods from the food lion at a cheaper price, better selection and no attitude while checking out. The lady was down right nasty towards everyone in line.

I ordered a 10 piece fried chicken drums/thighs and was shorted a thigh and some of the pieces were very small. The manager, Robin, took care of us not only did she replace our missing thigh she gave me a whole new order! I wanted to try the a breast- offered to pay for the 2 she said no and added it to the 10 pieces she already gave usRoyal Farms is the best and the take care of their customers too

Service was great!! However, the chicken was not. Very greasy, not crispy at all. All the skin was falling off and at the bottom of the bag along with a lot of oil. It looked more like baked chicken instead of fried chicken.

Ordered a "classic chicken sandwich" as they are famous for their chicken and we'd never had it and we can't have any spicy food. Had to take it to go as we're traveling. Shortly after we start eating we notice a hot spicy taste building up in our mouths - VERY disappointing. We're assuming they fry the non-spicy in the same oil as the spicy? Either that or the seasoning they use has a lot of pepper. Either way, there was definitely a spice that ended up causing health-related issues for us.For a supposed reputable company, if you're going to sell a spicy and non-spicy version of the same sandwich, please taste the food and make sure the non-spicy is actually NON-SPICY and cooked separately.

Busy, checkout was the best! Two self checkout and a wonderful lady willing to help. Waiting for your chicken order was painful, unreal and too timely.Chicken was spicy when ,non spicy was ordered . Tenders were very tender white meat not what I expected. Sorry not impressed, especially with the long wait

First time going to this store, It was a HUGE disappointment. It smelled, It's an Over-priced, tourist-trap, that sells Fried Chicken, Not even Good Fried Chicken. It has Dozens of types of candy and chips, Alot like 7-11, But Here you get to Do their Job, as well as Pay them to Not do it..(first & Last trip to that Waste of Space)

I just wanted a lemonade & small bag of chips. Paid nearly double other convenience stops nearby AND had to check myself out. I was paying with a card & the cashier was too busy having a personal conversation to take anyone who didn’t have cash. I have a full time job, I don’t like being forced to moonlight as a cashier. One & done on this location.(I’ve had other positive RF experiences in other states. This location is very aesthetically pleasing & in a great location for northbound traffic to easily stop. It was disappointing it sucks.)

We went in to get breakfast on our way home. We ended up having to get a refund because we waited 26 minutes and never got our food. They were more interested in filling the biscuit station than filling standing orders. Worst service ever.Also...to the cut and paste management reply...this seems to be an ongoing issue with the wait times. If it has not been addressed by now, YOU are part of the problem.

The ATM machine located within the store, shorted me $80.00 on a withdrawal from my debit card. I clearly had the receipt stating requested $200 received $120. I showed the receipt and my statement from my phone app to the store manager.She called her boss Mr.James who did nothing but apologize. No comments about following up with the ATM company or could they intercede with the ATM vendor, who they allowed in their store. Absolutely horrible customer service. All I received was call the number on the machine, we can’t do anything. I wasn’t expecting Royal Farms to reimburse me but I was expecting them to be more proactive with assisting me in resolving the issue. Word of mouth is the best and worst form of advertising. Please don’t send me the canned “ we value your feedback” response. Save it..

New location still trying to figure out how to operate like a properly functioning Royal Farms. After 5-10 minutes or so, the wait for chicken breasts was initially said to be “a little while,” and then after another 15-20 minutes they said it would be ten more minutes. Meanwhile, they had new mixed chicken batches coming out that included drumsticks and wings, which they had plenty of ready in multiple bins. Then they were searching around in the newly made batches as if they didn’t know what was going to be coming from the fryers. A couple of times they also offered to substitute out those pieces for an equal number of pieces that were less expensive and less food, despite the meals having been paid for already, which seemed like a shady solution to their own lack of preparedness. Probably like a 2.4 star visit. They seemed to be trying their best, and hopefully they figure it out, because it’s good to finally have some RF chicken this far down.

Horrible chicken, no toilet paper. Never have I had such poor chicken quality at any royal farm. This was the second time in a week i got a mixture of good and bad pieces. When I took my receipt back in they took my 1.25 drumsticks, one had literally no meat, only refunded me 1. Training is terrible. The lazy girl said "wonderful signature" when I signed but she can't count. I will never stop at this location again. Bamboozling all the tourists Is the motto?

It's Mother's Day, so our families decided to order 20 pcs of chicken tonight and make all our own side dishes. Reading online reviews I saw complaints about the wait time for chicken, so this morning I phoned in the order ahead of time. The woman who answered the phone said it was a good idea for a large order and took my name, phone # and pickup time of 4:30. Fast forward to 4:30 and they claimed not to know what was going on with our pre-order but said they were working on it. My daughters finally left when they saw a women who had waited longer than them (20 minutes and counting) for an order of mashed potatoes. Very disorganized and a big disappointment. Thankfully, Hardee's is right across the street and the wait time for chicken was 10 minutes. I won't be going back.

My wife bought expired potato salad from there tonight, we realized after we ate some of it and checked the date- too late. Mashed potatoes were awful the one time we got them, we thought the gravy would help but it was even worse. Chicken is not good, we’ve gotten it twice from RF and it has been salty and had a weird taste. What a huge disappointment. Will not be returning. We’re over it already.

Horrible service, we have royal farms everywhere in Virginia. Out of everything..and I mean everything. Regular gas, straws, plastic bags. Limited menu due to not having supplies. Waited 30 mins for 2 chicken sandwiches any other Royal Farms would be 5 mins or less and would be busier. Will not return to this location.

Brand new store in the Heart of Grandy NC! Perfect location on your way to the beach! Right across from Dunkin Donuts and Foodlion!It was decently busy for mid day. Fresh chicken and sides cooking and smiling employees greeted my entrance and exit.I will be back to try the food soon :)

Don't stop at the Grandy, NC location if you need family facilities. No baby changing station. Employee just said, "sorry".Edit: before the Royal Farms response below, I had already sent an email/contact me thru the website and have not heard a peep back. So thanks anyway.

The potato wedges were almost inedible, chicken had breading falling off and soggy, not crispy at all. Hardee’s next door is better.
