They have lots of basic items, but it is like a hoarder's home. Everything is crammed in so tight it is almost claustropic in nature. More expensive than Family Dollar but less than Food Lion on same items. Update Sept 2021: New staff at this location are hands down great! Great customer service and the store looks much better than it has in the past.

Dollar General is always a nice place to stop. I always find the things I'm looking for, & fairly quickly. The lack of 5 stars is the service. Most of the time the staff is pleasant, but on a few occasions (with certain groups of people) it is as if they don't want to be bothered.

I love shopping at my local Grandy, NC store because of the friendly staff! The store offers a wide variety of products at affordable prices. I would usually give them 5 stars but right now they have a couple problems. The first and most important problem needed to be addressed is enforcing mask control during the COVID-19 pandemic!!!! Second problem is that the store needs more staff. I expect the store “carts” out on floor with merchandise to be stocked if you have staff working on it but you don’t. Not to mention it blocks product on shelves and could be a dangerous situation if a customer moves them. My suggestion for a remedy for delivery days is to work an overnight crew to stock the shelves. Also during the holiday season with more people shopping you may want to have both registers open. Like I stated earlier the staff you have at this store are friendly, polite, very helpful and deserve a five star rating!

I can always find what I need quickly and keep my day moving along. There are a variety of items, from garden to groceries (with the exception of meats and produce). I will usually stop here before heading to the grocery store. Good prices = money saved!

Unfortunately we couldn’t physically do any shopping here because a wheel chair wouldn’t fit through any of the isles. We walked in and saw there was zero ADA compliant access and walked out. There were a dozen or more metal roller racks filled with stock & trash blocking each and every isle.

This place is terrible. Do not shop here! The place is a mess Isles blocked with junk and very trashy. No room to walk or shop. The carts are awful the store looks a mess! The registers never work and decline people’s payments and look as if they are from the 1950’s. The customer service is terrible and there is never an employee at the register they are always in the back of the store and it takes up to 10 minutes to even receive help. Bottom line the place is a zero! I would never recommend don’t even bother shopping there take an extra few minutes to go to any other store for your shopping needs.

We visited this Dollar General store on October 3 & 5, 2021. It was the cleanest and most organized Dollar General store we have ever shopped. Kudos to the management at the Granby, NC store.

I got a 12 pack of Cola and 3 of my cans were empty when I got them home. Thanks boxes were disgusting and when I asked f they had anymore in the back, none of the employees even bothered to check before telling me no.

I had to wait in line for 25 minutes for the cashier to blow up balloons for the customer in front of me. Very dissatisfied because there were other workers on the floor.

nobody at cash register because cashier was outside the store, line full of people, one guy inside stocking shelves wouldnt to help at register, boxes all over the floor cant move thru the isles, and this has happened more than once

Cleaner is usually out of stock and carts with products are always in aisles. It's difficult to get around store with cart.

Its dirty and very crowded since the remodel. Its like the staff can't handle the larger inventory. I'm always tripping over stuff or having to move around a bunch of junk.
