This is our all time favorite ACE! The stor is always full & merchandised well. The staff is always helpful. Tisha is delightful and always kind. She makes the best keys 🔑 They have a great pick up area and plenty of easy parking. Great circle drive if you are on a truck. Highly recommend this ACE!

Needed to get a key made and they offer that service right there at the cash register. Super fast and super friendly. They look like they have a lot of cute stuff for the home and Beach also. In addition to the usual hardware store offerings.

I was looking for lemon reamer and didn't find. But manager was very nice and helpful and ordered lemon reamer for me and called me in 3 days to come to get it. But I didn't have a chance to come - too far and I don't have a car.So if you read my review please stop and buy lemon reamer. It works great if you need to squize just one - two lemons.. No mess, easy to use, easy to wash. Thank you 😊. Thanks manager also. Good people, quiet convenient location. Easy to find from the highway. A lot of useful things to buy. Thank you!

Ace Hardware in Manteo, NC is just as the jingle suggests: it's the place with the helpful hardware folks! I stopped in for mulch and potting soil. Before even walking into the store, you will more than likely be greeted by one of the Fantastic Folks in Red Vests. Val, Gloria, Nick, Jefferson and so many others go above and beyond to make sure their customers are taken care of. Someone is always being helped, whether it's having their vehicle being loaded with mulch or paint, you'll get the assistance you need. Whatever you need to fix anything up, you're likely to find it here. It is a family environment in a small town. Many people know each other, and the atmosphere is friendly and helpful. You'll leave feeling prepared to handle all of your home projects. You may even stop in just to say, "Hey!" I always enjoy my visits to Ace Hardware in Manteo. Thank you to the management and staff for making your store part of our family.

Dont get propane here. They don’t do fillups. So I had to trade my brand new, 6 month on tanks for two faulty tanks that leak I’m pretty losses because not only did I lose two perfectly good tanks but they overcharge you to the tune of $27 for a trade when I can fill it at home for $12 and I keep my good tanks. So I basically spent $54 to have to spend another $80 for two new tanks. I feel like this place basically stole from me. I sure as hell would’ve had the police called if I had stolen two propane tanks from their store but this is in essence what they did to me.

This store is extremely overpriced and the quality is sometimes very cheap. But because it's 20 miles away from another hardware store it stays busy

Yes, I am all female and yes, Ace Hardware in Grandy is my favorite place in Currituck to shop because of the polite and helpful associates and my love to be self sufficient and do my own handy-woman work. I am a true lover of fishing and I love all the merchandise they offer to accommodate the passion of my need to get tackle and poles and of course tools for my projects. I always leave with way more than I set out to shop for, but who can turn down a sale item that is not on your list, perhaps, but definitely on your wishlist and I always leave feeling like a winner in the regard to my purchase and the amount of money I save each visit. Ladies have skills also...💪👈👑✍

Many Ace Hardware stores we've visited seem small and are often lacking larger items. Or they have limited selections on their shelves. This store not only had the helpful staff Ace is known for, but was twice the size of most we've visited. . In addition to hardware, pet food and supplies, this particular store also sold ammunition, gun cleaning supplies,as well as hunting and fishing licenses. Clean, orderly and has just about everything one could need for gardening, home projects, honey- do's or plumbing repairs. Ace does charge more than big box stores, but they earn every penny by going the extra mile and the folks in this store exemplify the brand.
