This is by far the best veterinarian. We absolutely love how much they care. They keep you informed about your pet and for us it's our child. It means a lot to have good care and communication with our caregiver for our fur babies. The only downside is sometimes you can't get them in and that's not really their fault. However, they did direct us to a very good 24-hour vet in case we could not get our fur babies into them. I definitely would recommend this establishment.

They take care of my Piper and Baily. I was customer of Goldsboro vet on highway 70 for over 15 yrs. When they were bought out it went down hill. Thank goodness for Wayne Vet, please don’t sell out because Piper and Baily love y’all.

Hands down the best vet I have ever encountered. The staff is simply amazing. The staff is always smiling and greeting you when you walk in. Dr. Silva will for ever take care of my pets needs for now now. Vader was truly blessed when God had me choose this Vet. He called me within 15, and had him diagnosed. Vader only has a short time to live but he is in good hands

This vet is the worst! The vet has zero knowledge about cropping corsos, even though he claimed to have alot experience. No follow up, horrible customer service and ,no accountability. I have to now get them recropped by a experience vet. This veterinarian charged 6k for 6 pups and this is the last time i will use him for ANYTHING! ON TOP OF THAT, TRIED TO BLAME MY WIFE FOR HIS INCOMPETENCE ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY AND ARROGANCE BEYOND MEASURE. I wish i could post a picture! Plus my pups came back with fleas and kennel cough. Got my puppies looking like bats. Smdh dr silver! This is show crop? On what planet?

I did not even realize they were here and not too far from my home until this morning. I had a prescription cat food crisis of my own making this morning (running out) and it was not their crisis, since my cat is not their patient yet. They helped me figure it out. The prescribing vet was too far for my available time this morning (but they were amazing too). They sent a prescription to Wayne Veterinary Hospital for me immediately and the WVH team of 4 amazing and hardworking women at the desk with me made sure I got taken care of. They were great listeners, and even though working and very busy, they were friendly, supportive and warm and welcoming. I think I have found my more local vet. They are not too far from me and they all clearly love the pet family members they see and were interested in who mine were. My "ancient" orange tabby and my "ancient" German Shepherd will be well cared for here to keep them comfortable for the rest of the time they give me when they need the care if called for. I feel like my crisis this morning, desperately needing the cat food, led me to a beautiful resource to help me love my pet family members.

So far this place has been great. The staff is nice. The vet care is nice. Office is clean and organized. They were great with both my dogs. And willing to work with my 60 pound anxiety dog. So far so good!

I took my dog there as an emergency because he was having trouble breathing. Long story but he has chronic bronchitis and chronic rhinitis. I don't live in this area, just staying for a short time. Dr Silvers (Sr) spent a lot of time with me and with going over my dogs records from my regular vet. He was very thorough and I would not hesitate to take any of our dogs to him.

I'm so thankful to have such a Great facility to bring my 2 babies to for all of their needs. Wayne Veterinary Hospital is a wonderful place and Madison (both of them) are so wonderful, informative and caring. All of the staff and other Drs are very caring & friendly also. I highly recommend them!

Not a good experience. They offer services without giving prices then come out with an outrageous amount, automatically assume that you can’t afford it in which I definitely could, judgemental, rude and condescending. I have never had people talk to me like I was beneath them and act so snooty towards me like they barely wanted to talk to me. None of the concerns I asked about were discussed and I was looked at like I was crazy when I asked for a simple receipt. I was also scoffed at when I asked more questions. I was going to go back and get more medicine for my babies but decided I will never go back anywhere that treats us like that. Some of them should not work with the public and I’m guessing this treatment was because of the color of my skin because everyone else was treated nicely. By the look of the other reviews, this is a normal occurrence for people of color. Should have read the reviews first. Smh. I will never return.

Update: We had to say goodbye to our poor baby with renal failure. We just got the condolences letter in the mail and... Dang y'all really know how to pull at the heartstrings. We appreciate it so much.-----We had to say goodbye to one of our fur babies just last month, and then another one of our babies got sick. This practice is helping us navigate his illness and they're awesome. However, we were weary about coming in the first place because of some reviews. The negative reviews are nothing near what we've experienced.

My Cat Princess was ran over with A car.Dr Liz never gave up hope and suggested a feeding tube because his Jaw was broke on one side. I was able to feed Princess and because of Liz and the caring staff my cat has almost fully recovered!!! IThank you Wayne Vet

I love the actual veterinarians. They are very thorough and kind. The front desk staff are not very nice. They ignore you when you first come in. A simple “Hey! I’ll be right with you” would make a difference. Instead I usually stand there incredibly uncomfortable waiting to be acknowledged. I am usually met with a bad attitude. I understand being busy but the professionalism is severely lacking.

They only reason I have given them a four star is because of his office staff. I dread every time calling and making an appointment because theirs always that one girl with the bad attitude. When you walk in they don’t even acknowledge you. This to me is a make or break deal. If office staff is not friendly it can really hurt a good veterinarian office. When you finally get to the doctors they are good vets. Please train your office staff for better people skills. Thank you for changing up somethings because I hated to leave this veterinarian office. It’s gotten better! YAY

I am seriously so upset with this hospital, We decided to try this place because of the nice reviews, until I picked up my cat COVERED in stool. And when I say covered I mean there was poop matted into his fur, on his blanket in his carry kennel, on his paws, and on the side of the carrier. I didn’t even noticed until we got home and I let him out that I saw this! I am so disappointed with this! We are new to this vet and I am just astonished at our horrible their customer care is. We have been here twice! The first time wasn’t bad at all. The second time for his checkup was one I had to do a double look because you can tell they didn’t even check on my cat!! What kind of business prides themselves on taking care of your animal just for you to pick them up soiled?? I will NOT be taking my cat back there. Then the lady who answered the phone had the nerve to tell me “he had a little accident and we didn’t notice, were sorry!”. That’s your job, is to care and check on these animals! Not to add that these prices are ridiculous.

Absolutely amazing place! It was last minute, and they actually made room and accepted my two pups for the 4th of July weekend of all times! I was nervous being a new place but my place closed due to the pandemic so I had no choice but to reach out to a new place and they were assuring and patient and guided me to be completely comfortable for this new arrangement! The amount of care and reassuring given allowed me to feel 100% okay throughout the entire vacation, even had a Courtesy call to let me know about a small situation, treated for , due to separation anxiety and assured me my pup was alright and back to himself, answered any questions that I had and I felt confident to continue my vacation with ease knowing my furbaby was in a good place! On my return, they welcomed me with causal conversation of how my vacation was and it just made me feel like I’ve always been apart of their clientele ❤️ thank you so much for a great experience and I look forward to my next vacation with WVH boarding kennel! 🙌

The last time I took my dog to receive her vaccinations I was not treated kindly. One of the staff members became rude when I asked a question. Normally, it wouldn't bother me because I work with the public but this was different. I have not been back this year.

I was a walk in today, Saturday, 8/27/22, and yes I had to wait because they were backed up, they had a lot of babies to take care of today, but Phoebe took care of my dog, Prissy and did exactly what I ask! Friendly and helpful staff. They seem to love caring for our pups. Our pups love going there and seeing them. They easily trimmed our large dogs nails. It took 3 to hold her down and one to trim them at the big box store in Jacksonville. They said she was no problem to do here. It makes a difference where you take them for sure. We will continue to do business here even though they aren't the closest vet for us.

Hands down the most genuine group of veterinarians you can take your pets to. My wife and I recently got stationed at Seymour Johnson and were in serious need of a good vet as our poor little pup was having some serious issues. As the vet on base is not always available, we tried a couple of vets off base and were immediately turned off by how quick they wanted to move on to the next appointment and of course for us to pay our bill and leave. However, Dr. Silver has treated our Allie as if she was his own pup. Dr. Silver has been extremely kind, caring, and patient with our pup and has provided her with top of the line care. The prices have always been fair and competitive and the Wayne Veterinary Hospital team has been awesome to work with and we are so thankful for them.

We used them a bit and it seems like a very nice vet. The cost is a bit on the higher side, but giving it's 2023 everything is expensive so it's hard to say.Anyways, I would highly recommend them
