This location has terrible customer service. I called in yesterday to get a jump start on a prescription to pick up the next day. The representative I was transferred to was very short with me, cutting me off as I tried explaining the purpose for my call. Repeatedly reminding me of their closing time. I tried calling back the next day to check progress, after holding for approx. 15 minutes, I disconnected. I had to start a new prescription, which is a huge inconvenience to me because I am now having to wait an additional 48 hours for a prescription I needed today.

A pharmaceutical technician gave me issues with my RX pick up. One told me a half hour so I come back a half hour later, then the one with the issue said I had a different insurance so I couldn’t get my scripts. Meanwhile my anxiety is through the roof and my BP has gone up; scripts that I needed. Finally call back like what is going on and a different tech has a tude cause as you can imagine I’m livid at this point. Walgreens; please hire better techs so when I need my meds I can get them or be explained in a professional manner what’s going on so I don’t have a heart-a-stroke while they figure out how to do their job!ThanksAn unsatisfied customer

This is by far the worst pharmacy and Walgreens in general I have ever been to. Went last night to pick up medication for my husband and I. We came at a busy time so I understand they’re just trying to get people in and out but while waiting in the line inside the store, the two techs working the drive thru, one a female with red hair (whom I’ve had a run in with previously for being disrespectful and having an attitude with me directly) and a taller male. Both were speaking horribly to patients in the drive thru. The male was straight up yelling at a lady in the drive thru because she couldn’t hear him. The female was telling patients not to come to the pharmacy unless they receive a text that their medication is ready. The tech that was helping us inside, another male, gave my husband my prescription and said “we don’t have your insurance”. And was going to make him pay the full price without checking or putting his insurance on file. Understandable that everyone is busy but the things these techs were saying to patients is just downright lazy and not wanting to do your job. Along with the pharmacy, there has been a cashier at the front that has had the worst attitude. Not a word was spoken to us, not a hey, welcome to Walgreens, or anything. We walked in, got what we needed and went back up to check out. Still not a word. She huffed and puffed and acted like we were the biggest inconvenience. The ONLY reason I use this location is because of convenience and the hours but I will be for sure changing that for better customer service as I can’t stand to hear everyone in a pharmacy ganging up on their patients. Walgreens needs a serious redo on this location.

They misled me telling me that they were working on my prescription not even five minutes later, they were "out of stock" they will not see me as a customer either very disrespectful and very rude!! Due to your slack pharmacy, I will not be areturn customer! You've lost me as a customer!!!!

This is for the pharmacy. They tell you a time and then you wait much longer . Received short pill amounts and mixed different manufacturer pills in the same bottle. Also switching manufacturers per refill without telling you it’s the same drug but looks different. That will cause some concern if you’re elderly or can’t see well or have no internet to check if it’s the correct pills. They should know to tell patients of the change.Same location and bottles have different typefaces styles seems a lack of oversight of a real professional.

I am trying to call to get my son's medicine transferred and this woman keeps picking up the phone and saying "please bear with me" and putting me on hold........I have been on hold for 45 minutes!!! STILL WON'T ANSWER!

The pharmacy at this location is terrible. My daughter has a monthly prescription that is extremely time sensitive. This location NEVER has it in stock and has to order it. On top of that, I must call every time my doctor sends the order over to them. Apparently, they don’t pay attention to new prescriptions as doctors send them, because every time I call to check the status, they have no clue what I’m talking about until they check recent orders. For reference, I always wait several hours before calling to check the script status. They never call to notify me when my daughter’s prescription is ready for pick up, even though I have requested that service, so again, I must call them to check the status of the prescription. It is as if they need their hand held every step of the way. This is an every month occurrence, not just once in awhile. Every. Month. If you don’t stay on top of them, your prescription will never get filled. I have lived many places, and have had countless prescriptions filled at many pharmacies, but I have never encountered such incompetence as this Walgreens pharmacy. Like many other reviewers, I will be looking for a new pharmacy. Fingers crossed I can find one that will accept military coverage in this small town.

I used to go to Walgreens on Ash St, but the poor attitudes of the pharmacy employees made me take the time to change over to this Walgreens and I'm so happy I did. Yes, sometimes they get very busy and the drive thru can take a while that I understand. The most important thing to me is how I'm treated and if I can get my medications in a timely manner and this Walgreens does both for me. When I walk in the people at the pharmacy are very friendly to me, but most importantly they take the time to help me when I have a question. For example, they take the time to make sure I am paying the lowest cost for my mediation. If my insurance is not the lowest price, they will recommend that I use a GoodRx coupon. That is good service. The staff at the front of the store is always friendly.

This Walgreens pharmacy has really stepped it up within the last 6 months to a year. The pharmacist and the techs are patient and respectful when they pick-up the phone and/or when I pick up my meds. They don’t make me feel like I’m an inconvenience. Keep up the great work y’all! I even had someone from the pharmacy call me back in the same day when they received my medication, you don’t get that kind of service now days. So thank you!!

Went to get COVID and flu shot today. A pharmacy tech, Casey, barked out where to stand in line when asked. He'sobviously in the wrong line of work. He was both rude and unprofessional. Others in line were shocked at his behavior.

I went to Walgreens this morning to pick my pictures up. They weren't ready. But the lady at the register was so nice and kind. She talked to me very respectfully. She helped other customers at the register. And still help assist me. Lovely lady. She called for help twice and nobody never showed up to assist her.

Brought something a few days ago that literally broke as soon as I tried getting it to work, went to the store today for a return. The young lady cashier never spoke or acknowledged me rubbed me wrong but I was willing to look past that until she brought another young lady wearing glasses who apparently is a manager and I was accused of using the product! A brand new item I never even put batteries into.I have never been accused of that & let her know I didn’t appreciate the accusation.Went back and another young lady was just as unprofessional & off putting as the first two. I will never buy another product from Walgreens. Workers are RUDE & NEED TRAINING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE

This is by far the worst place to go if you need prescriptions. Especially if you get a recurring (monthly) prescription. I switched years ago to a mom and pop place called Realo. I say mom and pop although it is a chain pharmacy.In the process of switching a loved one to a different pharmacy and just having to deal w the incompetency of them again gives me pause lol. Literally the worst pharmacy in Goldsboro. Try downtown pharmacy on center street. They treat you well and I never had really had issues and it’s easy to contact them.Sorry so long

Walgreens corporate leadership is lost in the fog, still blaming the pandemic for low store traffic today. This store is terrible. No comments about the pharmacy. They often change the brands of merchandise on the shelves and most of my favorites are gone. Photofinishing is poor due to high employee turnover. Prices are higher than elsewhere.

These people are extremely rude and disrespectful. I had some memorial cards made and when I called to confirm that my order was ready for pickup I was told their cutter was down. So why wasn't I informed of this before you filled the order. Then when I was asking the dim witted cashier a question she had the nerve to hang up on me. When I went to pick up the cards I told her that she was rude and disrespectful and that is not how you act. She told me she didn't hear me on the phone. When I went to the check out I told the other cashier that the manager need to do something about her attitude she tells me that she was the the manager which I highly doubt. Needless to say the customer service at this place is below zero and they need to be educated on how to handle an issue without being disrespectful because at the end of the day you never know what someone is going through and that is how people end up getting hurt because of those nonchalant attitudes. The manager need to do better when vetting their people. I had to drive to Smithfield to get my cards cut and it was a better and more pleasant experience.

Went to the pharmacy and left my prescription at 3:35 pm, I was told it will be ready by 7:00pm, I went back 8:00 pm the pharmacy cashier told me to wait 10 minutes and after that it was not ready he asked the rude pharmacist who only said it’s going to be a while, how long I asked she replayed the previous segment, I then left and will see if I feel like going back again or get filled somewhere else luckily I can print another copy of it.So instead of Friday the lousy pharmacist got it ready Saturday, finally received a text message at 9:32 am saying it was ready to be picked up, I never expected this to happen at Walgreens and at this location in particular, and I meant the pharmacist rudeness that was far worse than the delay.

Horrible...I will be transferring all my meds somewhere else. I've never been to a Walgreens that can seem to get things right and follow through with what they say....I called 2 hours in advance before going and was told, by the pharmacist the prescription would be ready in 10 min. I arrive and sit in line for 30 min to be told that the pharmacist had not confirmed the order and I need to leave and come back later....unacceptable!

I don’t know who answers that phone in the pharmacy but it would be really nice if you’d actually answer it instead of putting someone on hold and then pick up just to hang up!!And you wonder why customers are so ill when they get there!!It’s ridiculous!!The absolute worst pharmacy in Wayne county! Don’t call these people to see why a medication is not ready. You will be on the phone for hours and when the system picks up no acknowledgement of your being on other line they put you on continuing hold. So don’t call them. Tried to see if medication was ready was not in system yet doc says it was put in. I waited on phone for hours just to see that medication is not covered by insurance

It's been over 3 hours and my prescription isn't ready. Ive never had a bad experience with Walgreens but this one will make you lose your patience especially if you in pain like me. And I have been over an hour and nobody answers. I've checked on the website and it says processing. This is ridiculous prescriptions shouldn't take more than an hour. I get it if it takes 2 hours but 4 hours or more and I still don't have it. 🤕🤒

Absolutely terrible service every time. Every time I go to the pharmacy, it is issue after issue. They text/call me letting me know I have a prescription to pick up. Get there and they have a terrible attitude and can't get the medicine that they just said was ready. First, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and even the second time but it has been multiple times now and honestly, it seems like they could care less about the patients. Will not go back here, I don't care how long it takes to move to another pharmacy. We need our medicine and are now stuck without it because of them. Which by the way, we have never ran out. Because of the total back and forth with them time and time again. We are now here. I wouldn't go back to this pharmacy for help if I was dying much less get a simple prescription.

I went in-person to check on a prescription I thought had taken too long to fill. The drive thru was lined up in both lanes so I went in with almost no wait. 5 people ended up lining up behind me over a half hour because there was some computer issue preventing my script from being processed. Allison and Anya both tried to resolve before the pharmacist called another store to ask for help. Nobody in the pharmacy acted impatient or flustered about the issue with my script. They were polite, kind, and were working together to help me and also other customers. This is the last thing a person would want to deal with after a very long Monday at work, but I appreciated their patience and follow-through to get it resolved and help me to leave with my script in hand.

This is the WORST Walgreens and pharmacy I’ve ever used. They are always rude, they laugh at you and talk about you behind your back if you ask sometimes the smallest question while making you wait at the counter and then they just keep talking to each other, they rarely have my medications ready when they say they will and they don’t seem to even know how their own pharmacy or computers run in this location. They make you wait at LEAST an hour to get a vaccine and that’s the shortest wait time I’ve been through there.

They literally never have your meds ready at a timely manner. had a prescription sent in the night before from the ER at around 8. was told it would be ready in the morning. it is now 2 pm the next day, and i was told, after waiting in line for an HOUR, my meds still aren’t ready and won’t be for another hour or two. This is the third time now. The place is horribly unorganized and i’m definitely switching pharmacies now.

Hands down the worst pharmacy in Goldsboro. On separate occasions they have lost prescriptions or forget to fill them all together. Every single time I have used them it has been a nightmare. The clerks here are rude and do not care that they are wasting your time. I dropped a prescription off was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I come back an hour later and they lost the prescription tried telling me I never dropped it off to them. Clerk goes through every script that was dropped off for the day low and behold finds it. Took another 30 minutes and they finally did their job. Never did the clerk even apologize for dropping the ball, they are ignorant and very rude. I will go out of my way to go to Rite Aide before I ever use this pharmacy again. And suggest you save yourself the frustration and do the same.

Called to find out what’s going on with my son prescription. The doctor informed me that it was sent on Monday and today is Sunday. When I called I waited 37 minutes on the phone before talking to anyone. Someone answered to place me back on hold and then the phone rang and rang with no one answering it. After that I was hung up on. I tried to call back and while I was doing that someone called!! They will call saying the medication is ready and when you get there they won’t have it ready asking you to wait 20 minutes to fill it. This is the worst customer service I ever had and in the future I will be taking my business somewhere else.

Terrible service at the pharmacy. Do not have the common sense to call more staff to assist until customers at least 15 deep. There always seems to be an issue with insurance or getting scrips filled. Waited 20 minutes to drop off script. Told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Got back in line after 30 minutes and waited another 20 minutes to be told script was not ready. Waited another 10 minutes more to get script filled. An hour and a half to get a simple script filled is ridiculous. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

I came here yesterday to pick up my prescription which was estimated to be ready at 2pm. It wasn't ready on time, so I went to get gas, did a little shopping and bought groceries. A few hours later, it still wasn't ready so I decided to head home. I returned today. There were approximately 12 people in line. Numerous people in front of me had issues when picking up their prescriptions and I spent about 20 minutes at the cash register. There was an issue when ringing up my prescription and the lady walked off without explanation and returned about 15 minutes later. I realize that this pharmacy does a lot of business, but that is no excuse for the poor customer service.

if I could give less than 1 star I would- got email confirmation on when my prescription would be ready for pick up- waited an additionl day before I went to pickup- was 5th car in line at drive thru- waited 55 minutes in that line(usual wait time in normally 30 min or more no matter what)- when I got to window young lady told me I did ot have a prescript. ready and there was no record of there ever being one - she was very rude and inconsiderate- I do not know how Walgreens stays in business with their awful cutomer service and inadaquate pharmacy- if I did not have to go there(preferred pharm) I would never step foot in the place.

What's the point in making an appointment for a covid test, and sit in line for four hours, only to shut it down at 5 pm and tell the remaining people who ARE STILL WAITING that they have to make a new appt bc y'all have stopped doing tests for the day. Maybe y'all shouldn't make 100 appointments if you're only going to see 40 of em. This whole situation has just stopped my business permanently. I understand the frustration that comes along with this covid mess, but we are just as equally frustrated waiting, as you are. administering the tests.
