I bought a half pound of olives from the olive bar today. The majority of the bins were not labeled and the ones that were, were incorrect. I thought I was buying mixed pitted olives, only to get home and find the kalamatas had pitts. Disappointing, especially since they are $11.99 a pound. Part of my half pound was pitts.

This is n-o-t a real Harris Teeter. Sad. Compare your experience here with those at stores in Wilson, Raleigh or Cary and you will know what I mean. Limited selection, lower-grade wine, but bad attitudes are plentiful. Example: What days of the week do they sell "yellow" bananas? They tend to be either out of stock or else you find only "forest green" bananas here. It happened to me on April 15. An employee nearby said there would be another truck delivery in two days, to which I replied "yes, but with more green bananas!"

I just came home from your store on Wayne Memorial Drive. I bought a cut up hot baked eight chicken!It was the best I’ve had from all of your competition in this area.Not a dry over cooked piece in the batch. Went there today first time in along time now I know why we stopped. They don't have the staff like they use too. So how the quality of the food is poor. Tried to get someone to make some pizza is not good then they act like they really don't want too. Got home looked at the pizza and it was burnt. That's how you can really tell when someone doesn't care about there job.. now the lady making subs seemed to be enjoying her job and making small talk with all her customers.

More expensive than most. More convenient and well-kept than all. Other grocery stores and chains use this brand as the standard for "High end" shopping. Yes you can find things cheaper, but those pennies you'll save aren't worth the noticable decline in product quality found here. The environment in this location is 2nd to none. This is the Cleanest food store in eastern NC. This particular Harris Teeter location, along with the majority of them, give meaning to the phrase, "you get what you pay for" .

Clean store, well organized. Excellent produce, deli, and meats. Has a salad bar, sandwiches, sushi, a pizza station, and soups of the day daily. Also has an excellent selection of cheeses and wine/beer, including a Make Your Own Six pack option. They also have a gas station.

I don’t recommend buying any raw food (Seafood) that’s defrosted.Advised the manager of the seafood cooler not working and they just moved items around and kept moving.Two visits and items had foul smells both times.

Unacceptable that the store has no backup generators to keep at minimum the refrigerated sections running and registers running in the event of a power outage. Nobody could have anticipated that a beautiful day like today would have a freak power outage, however this is hurricane country and not having a backup power solution to allow operations to continue is unacceptable.

People at the floral counter are always wonderful. I mean go above and beyond! Beautiful arrangements everytime that they make from what I pick out and have it ready in no time. Such a pleasure to go in and get courteous, helpful people!

Love Harris teeter BUT the pizza area needs to cook the dough thoroughly. this has happened more than once for me. The dough is never cooked, literally raw dough. There’s so much cheese on it that the dough never gets cooked all the way. Pizza area PLEASE cook your dough fully let it sit in the oven longer!

After stopping at the store after work for a few things, my car battery died and wouldn’t start back up. I’m a long way from home on a travel assignment, and didn’t really have anyone to call for a jump. One of the workers, Scott offered to help me immediately. He reached out to another worker, a woman, I never caught her name. The hospitality they showed me during a rough morning did not go unnoticed. I really appreciated how helpful and hospitable the employees were.

2-13-23I've lived in Goldsboro for over a month now and have shopped here weekly. This store is comparable to others I've been as far as selection. Prices are similar too.Harris Teeter has a good selection of items, does a good job with bakery and pre-cooked stuff, and usually is among the best options for produce in an NC town/city. You will see a slight price difference (higher) at an HT. This location is a great example of everything I have typed. So it is consistent.This is probably the "best" grocery store in Goldsboro per selection and produce.

Used the pharmacy for the first time. Got a flu shot for my mom. Was a walk in and it was great. Staff was very friendly, polite, and patient with us. The service was excellent and quick. Making this pharmacy her new pharmacy.

I love Harris Teeter. Every location they ever have is amazing. They have samples throughout the store. The fresh meat selection is awesome. I love to get sushi and subs from there. I like to get a roast beef and Swiss sub from there on the lunch pack. It taste so good to me. I love the way they make their California roll sushi.

I always enjoy going in the store as they always have the things I need. The specials are wonderful and I save quite a bit of money. The produce is excellent and of great variety. Using the pharmacy saves time and money. I love our Harris Teeter and hope it will always be there.

This place really is terrible. It’s clean, well stocked and has staff BUT things CONSTANTLY ring wrong. Takes them forever to fix mistakes on pricing (which is already substantially higher than other grocery stores). Some of the staff (I would assume managers) are inclined to nearly argue with you about trying to get things fixed. As I write this I have been waiting over 5 minutes for one of these staff to go hunt for a tag of a product I’m not sure she knows where to find. They are just terrible retailers in good stores. This happens to me about 3rd trip in. If they weren’t 2 blocks from my home I’d write them off all together.

This is your typical Harris Teeter grocery store. They carry the same things as other Harris Teeter grocery stores. They also carry items that other grocery store chains do not carry. They carry a lot of locally made items too. Its a large store and they also have a gas station. I was able to find an item I'd been looking for at other stores. The cashier we had was friendly. We didn't encounter any other employees today. The store was neat and well organized.
