The employee is a manager at the store were top notch. I went to two other dollar generals this weekend to do a return, and they wouldn’t do it/couldn’t… It was very frustrating because I didn’t have time to drive all the way back to Glen Alpine until today and the manager even though it was a difficult return did it with a smile on her face while the other employees were very helpful towards me. Also, I would recommend this store 10 out of 10. Thank you for returning my money back for the products that I bought and the coupons were an applied $50 is a lot of money in today’s economy and the other employees at other stores acted like it wasn’t a big deal.

Since they closed it down last month they've really jerked up making it a better store. Only downfall it was a beautiful weekend and no bread what so ever on shelves or back stock for it to be put out.

I usually go there for quick snack runs and the odd "I need a pen, just one pen not a 6-pack" kind of trips on the way home. The store is very...full. I can usually get out of there quick but sometimes there's a long line at the checkout. It might be understaffed but the people that are there are usually nice.

Who's in charge here!? Deliveries have been sitting in the isles for months now and their shelves are bare. I think it's time to get corporate involved seeing no one is doing their job. Here's a novel idea unpack the boxes and stock your shelves.

If you can avoid this place, I definitely would. The store itself is dirty and it’s clearly understaffed. My latest experience here involved waiting in 1 open line for 20 minutes while one of the associates clipped her fingernails behind the counter. (Yikes) Hopefully they will remodel soon and service will improve...

There is always carts on every isle to the point u can’t get to anything if there is anything even on the shelves.. this place needs extra help.. it’s always a mess

I go to this Dollar General often, but I also have ulcerative colitis. It’s a medical condition.. and when it happens to act up.. I can’t wait to get to a bathroom. I have to go then.. it flared up yesterday while I was shopping.. I explained and asked if I could use the restroom and was told no that it was out of order.. about 6 months ago I asked and it was out of order.. I am 53 and I am not that naive. I manage a restaurant. I could not imagine telling someone they couldn’t use my bathroom.. I’m not too lazy to clean it or fill it up with toilet paper and paper towels.. needless to say I didn’t make it home.. I think this is unprofessional and uncaring.. and if that’s all you think of your customers I should be ashamed of yourselves

The selection of freezer/cold foods is great here. The staff is subpar though. There has only been one time that I actually got a nice greeting from the staff. Most of the time they straight ignore the fact that you are even there.

Been shopping there for years. Shelves needed stocking. Out of stuff...or not yet unpacked truck. Employees should get a good wage for all the stocking,register,and financial responsibility they have. That's hard work. When do they get a break? Slave drivers

This Dollar General has one employee that is execptional and is always on the move and ready to help customers. She is the stores assistant manager Katrina! I've never seen a worker work so hard to do her job like she does. She's the only reason most people even go to that store. You guys are lucky to have her I hope you know that.

Cleaner than some DG stores. Staff seemed overwhelmed with stocking shelves. I could barely navigate through the isles because of racks of stock. Employees seemed irritated when I was shopping in a location they were stocking. Cashier was not friendly at all.

Since Christmas this store has been dirty, common everyday things not on shelves (ie baby powder face cream), aisles unshoppable with items on the floor). Store needs a good manager.

Asiles constantly blocked by inventory carts 5 people standing in line and one cashier took about 20 minutes to get checked out, the bad part is this is normal at this location. Do yourself a favor and go to the much better managed Dollar General beside Flex Gym.

Selection is great but the employees are very rude and act like they are deaf, ignore you, and even straight up will tell you to basically find whatever you need them for on your own. They are rude at checkout providing no feedback, eye contact or even want to wish you a good day. Glen Alpine has always had wonderful employees at every store they have. This Dollar General needs some help...

UNDERSTAFFED! I'll felt very sorry for the woman who was working the entire store on her own. She provided EXCELLENT customer service and did NOT complain. She is a keeper and deserves a raise and bonus!!!

Lazy, newer employees leave the bread shelf empty, even though there's plenty...kept by the bathrooms. Had to ASK for bread on two occasions, Sunday evening mongst other consumers, for a loaf. They are not doing their jobs. Also, very cluttered aisles and long line due to rarely opening the 2nd register.

This is the worst Dollar General around. They never have anything in stock, there is just about always a long line, they have their carts of merchandise just hanging around everywhere in the store blocking isles. Their is trash always in the parking lot. Please get it together.

I just the dollar General in Glen ALPINE? Their a lady cashier who never complain she so nice i dont know her name .she is the sweetest lady she deserves a RAISE..she has Short hair ...Please give her a Raise.

This weekend is Summer Clearance Sale so my wife and I just went to shop the sale. Supposed to be Green Dot items are Buy1 get 2 free, which means most expensive pay at full price other lesser priced (2) for free...not a chance..thier mathematics and factoring at the register almost would have made perfect sense to a monkey doing a math problem and the manager although trained seemingly tediously in monkey math wasn't helpful and less than pleasant when explaining thier pricing to my wife. Two thumbs down.

The staff is great, very friendly , but the place is always a wreak. Nothing is ever stocked, and there are big metal carts everywhere full of stuff they need to stock.

This Dollar General was not well stocked so I had to go to another store. I find that all Dollar General stores get low or out of cold medicines when we need it most in cold weather.

Wasn't happen because I got clearance item at all dollar General around town, but the one I live nearest to wouldn't honor the sale. Not HAPPY.!!!
