I went into the store today and brought laundry detergent, and a few other things. My total came up almost sixty dollars before my digital coupons came off. My total went down to twenty eight dollars. I paid and got my receipt. Stuck it in my bag. As I walk to the door a sales associate all but ran after me saying the machine alerted. Mind you I wasn’t even to the door so the alarm wasn’t going off. He asked for my receipt then asked how many items I brought. I answered him, then it hit me he trying to insinuate that I had stolen something. While he tried to hand me the receipt back I told him to keep it. And walked out the door as I had a few choice words for him. He told me it wasn’t nothing personal but it definitely felt like it.

Oh my goodness! The people there are just so nice and easy going. This is the place I've been safely traveling to once about every 2 weeks since the pandemic, to shop safely. I go here to get toiletries and household cleaners. The only place that really never got completely wiped out that was near me.

Today was NOT the greatest experience I have had. They had to re ring my whole $50 order up twice only for it not to use the DG coupons Again? On top of that, it didn't print out the $2.00 off next order like it should have, and advertised to do so.

Are you the only step in here when it comes to Halloween outside of that I don't normally go to the store. What I end up doing is picking up some Ting Ting branches as that's what they call them I guess other for Christmas trees and for me I picked up some purple and orange ones for my orange Christmas tree anyway it is a great place to shop for those dollar items they're absolutely perfect and price you can't go wrong.

I always enjoy my visit at any store home shopping for the bedroom living room and sometimes food items but the staff could be much better they aren't friendly they don't greet all the customers i notice they greet the whites and especially the men they go into a long drawn out conversation with them others they act as though they can't wait to get them out the door I'm a greeter i always speak but they are so cold and nasty these are the stores on Burlington Rd 3 that i go in Greensboro N.C.the stars are for the items I purchase the isles are always cluttered can't get through having to turn back going another way if not careful you'll trip and fall down

They only have one cashier most of the time. My daughter has to wait in a long line no matter what time she goes. The 3 DG's around where we live....same thing.

I Have been a cutomer since opening day. What I see stockers are needed maybe floor walker once in awhile , but stockers for sure older person good health &want to work vet even. Just suggestion

It's a cheap place to buy house hold supplies. Staff very friendly but they could use extra help at times but good for those on budget to shop their $$ isle is great 😀

Dollar General is always easy and convenient for me. I always prefer going to DG, rather than the the really busy grocery store.

They need more help, and didn't have nothing I needed boxes everywhere down almost every ale and could get to anything if you did want it I'm very disappointed

Shelves needed to be stocked... only had one person sticking shelves while manager did nothing to help relieve the bare-shelves problem...

Neat store, just remodeled.However things continue to be out of stock.Also long wait for check out, due to the company mainly uses 1 register.

Hard to move around and look for stuff, there are boxes and carts blocking everything. Would be understandable if employees were working but none were anywhere around.

There needs to be more than ONE employee at the cash register, especially if there's a line. There have been times I'd walk in and walk back out due to shortage of employees/cashiers.

This is a great alternative to the grocery and drug stores. Drop in one day, as they carry more items than you probably think.

This particular store the keypad did not recognize the items on sale using my Dollar General app, the sales associate had to override it using the manager key.

Exactly what you'd expect at Dollar General. Their NFC reader isn't working though, so Apple Pay and the like won't work.

The dollar general in Whitsett NC is great! Staff is friendly and the store is stocked and clean!
