I have been in the road for a while and stopped here to grab snacks and use the bathroom. I stepped into the bathroom and it was in complete disarray. The seat was sitting on the floor in the corner covered in bodily waste and the toilet wasn't flushing at all. The ceiling had a sizable hole in it and they had no tp, paper towels, or soap. The floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. It was one of the worst experiences I've delt with.

The owner here is so very nice. I had zero problems coming here with a service animal and one day I had my other dog in the car with air conditioning on a really hot day, but yet I was worried about leaving her temporarily and she allowed me to bring my friendly dog in although not service animal certified. It’s this kind of compassion that I appreciate and I come to this store all the time.Great place to get essentials when your not wanting to drive all the way to Walmart, it’s at a very convenient location so that us country dwellers have a store to shop at. The prices are really great.I also enjoy coming here and allowing my ten year old to make a purchase for practice with math being a consumer. The cashiers are very friendly and supportive of this.My only semi complaint is that I wish the clearance had better clearance prices. This goes for all dollar generals I’ve noticed. More than two times have I gotten something out of clearance only to find it at an even cheaper price on the shelf. So do not be fooled by clearance prices.

I don't go here often but I found the groceries section to be a little disorganized. I had a little bit of a hard time finding plain old water. Found a warm case of it, but they only had flavored waters in the main fridge. Staff was friendly at the register.

This is a handy place if you're out of milk or just need a pint of ice cream, or even shop the sale of yard decorations. The staff is usually helpful and friendly.But they don't sell any healthy choices or fruit and veggies. Dollar General is contributing to the Food Desert Phenomenon and if they are going to continue to pop up in rural areas they better start stocking their stores with healthy choices for families nearby.Some people are not fortunate enough to make it to the nearest city or town and shouldn't be forced to feed their families only junk food. Dollar General can and should do better.

Slow slow slow.... Always out of stuff and the beer is never in the coolers. And half the time they don't have ice. Ooh and you better bring your own bags. I had high hopes for this place. But it's really going down hill fast.

I'm stating my opinion not from one single experience but from being a weekly customer. Some of the staff is friendly and helpful but there are a select few that are rude and act as if you are bothering them to be checked out. You can sense some favoritism between the manager and a select few other girls that work there. And that group seems to be the problem. Majority of the time there is one single register open with at least 5 customers waiting to be SLOWLY checked out. Most of the time there is another employee in the back room (im assuming the office) that could be called the run the other register. But the other register has been broken for several months. This was still an issue before it was broken but still not utilized. There is always and aisle with clutter and empty boxes on the floor looking as if it's being restocked. I like shopping at DG, it seems just about every DG I go to the isles are always cluttered with stuff on the floors. You can see that there trying to stock the shelves but it's always like an obstacle course trying to shop there. DG has better sales and products than other dollar stores. Most of the time the employees are nice and will help you when needed. I've noticed that some DG stores are a little nicer than other's.

I shop at dollar general alot especially this dollar general on 13 in Gates and as soon as I went in tonight there were clearance items at door people digging through them and in the way of tryn to get a cart. Managed to get my cart pass the woman without hitting her and proceed to get things I need as clerk shouts out we close in 15 min. Um I'm like I know thank you. So I'm rushing through grabbing my things get to register a monster drink doesn't ring up they say he keeps bringing things we don't sell🤔 she rushes to grab another one that's cold to ring up. She rings everything & says 34.41, I hand her my 5 off coupon & she says it won't work🤔🤔what well I wouldn't have spent as much money then right now. Geez Louise ! I'm like I don't understand your not closed yet she says I tried for a woman earlier her's didn't work ok well try mine. It isn't gonna work they take sale stuff down @ 7pm anyways. Im like that makes no sense !! I'm like fine, I'll call corporate she says go ahead tell them everything!! Really!! No where on this coupon does it say I have to use by a certain time just on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!😡Now I'm pissed! Wish I had just left everything on the counter. Not good business DG!!!!!!!!

It's good for quick stops but if an item is on sale make sure cashier rings up sale because if not you'll pay full price.

The store itself is fine. Outside of the store needs help. Trash all over, potholes at entrance to parking. No lawn maintenance around holding pond.

Staff is pretty nice and chill with a lot of good convenience or last minute products, but they are more an upgraded gas station shop then a grocery store.

Just a run of the mill DG. They almost always have what you need and the shelves usually fronted but it still has the signature shoddy DG feel. That feeling you get when you see a sock in the cereal aisle. Or milk somewhere random in the store other than where milk should be.

Disorganized and the isles were crammed with stuff. Went in for holiday candy for a trunk or treat. One register and it was having problems.
