Called and spoke with a female pharmiscists for a refill. I'm traveling from another state. She found the script, which is in the Walgreens system, and said it would be ready the next morning. I called the next day to see if someone could pick it up for me and spoke with a male pharmacists. He said the script was a controlled substance and he had to have a new script from the Dr. I even gave him the Walgreens RX number. It is a schedule 3 controlled substance not a schedule 2 (opiods) and I have never had issues before. I told him I spoke with a female pharmacist the day before and he claimed he was the only one on duty and I must have been speaking with the call center. Did not know the call center could fill scripts. He appears to be a lazy liar. Especially since I called another Walgreens who got the info from the Walgreens out of state and filled it same day with no problem. Customer service does not exist here.

The female pharmacist was rude and inconsiderate in the presence of the customer, Sunday, 11/26 11:10-11:40 stating to her female worker, “I don’t know why they have sick people, coming into the store!” I followed the instructions on the email lady! Wear a mask in the store. “At the time of your appointment, go to the testing pharmacy check-in counter inside the store.” I DON’T KNOW EITHER MS. PHARMACIST LADY! My test was negative by the way! I was a few minutes early, and it took her about 20-30 minutes, being the only customer at the back.

This has to be the absolute worst Walgreens. Consistently had problems with the pharmacy. The only good thing at the pharmacy is Anette. Everyone else is rude. Sat in the drive through like to get my daughters eye drops for over 45 minutes and didn’t move once. I finally pulled out of line and took my daughter in with pink eye (was trying to avoid that). The same car had not moved from the window. I was informed they were waiting on their prescription to be filled. They should have them pull around. I will go to Publix from now on. They are far better.

I've gotten my medication here for many years, but management has really been slipping the last 6 months.Hold times to speak with a pharmacist are routinely 25-55 minutes, so getting a prescription refilled becomes quite a chore. The app used to be effective, but now prescriptions just sit in pending until you carve out an hour of your day to call them and actually get it filled. Very frustrating experience that's encouraging me to go elsewhere for my medications.

The pharmacy is horrible here. Last month my husband went to pick up my medication and they left one out. Normally that wouldn’t pose a problem because I could just go back and get it. We went back to get it and they said we don’t have it, it was picked up last night. Even after getting the store manager to review the tape with the time stamp to my receipt it still took the pharmacy over 24 hours to fix their problem and have my inhaler ready. Now, trying to get my inhaler again for this month they have cancelled my request twice and it’s been “in progress” for 2 weeks. Don’t waste your time here, there are plenty of pharmacies with a much more competent staff than this one.

Worst pharmacy in NC! I have gotten wrong meds more than once, they "forget" to run my insurance the majority of the time, 2 months ago they had a medication dosage and how often wrong...the list is endless. The staff continues to blame the app when it's clearly the staff, the new pharmacist is there from cvs where she had problems before, now nothing but issues. I will yet again move my prescriptions to a different pharmacy! It's obvious they will just hire whoever walgreens needs to do better!

The pharmacy is unreachable on the phone. Call all times of day to get a perscription filled and 90% of the time i never get ahold of anyone. I put my phone on speaker and go about what im doing, 30 min, 48 min and i never hear a person just automated woman with music. The part that bothers me even more than that is when i go in the store to get it filled, they have a whiteboard saying "90 days without a customer on hold for over 60 seconds". It is so ridiculous and unprofessional to have a pharmacy just not answer your call and it happens almost everytime i try to call. Havent wanted to write this review but i just hung up after i went to see how long i was waiting to speak to a person and it said 48 minutes 43 seconds. Im furious

This place has really went down hill recently. I've been going here for years. There has clearly been a change with staff. The new pharmacist and Annette couldn't be more rude or incompetent. They clearly don't want to be there or work with the public. The past month I've not only have I had to walk the pharmacist how to enter insurance info I've also have had to make several trips and, countless phone calls to Walgreens due to misinformation from the pharmacist and Annette. I'm transferring first thing in the morning. This has quickly become the worst pharmacy in Gastonia due to the staff.

Thank Goodness for the super manager tonight! I was frazzled and almost fell for a scam person calling saying I needed a prepaid card to use for a Bond warrant or that I would be arrested. She calmed me down and called the REAL police to help me get it all reported and she saved me from losing almost $1000! Great Managers and employees looking out for their customers!

UPDATE: My review use to be great with 5 starts. I am now changing that. The pharmacy staff use to be great. The past 6 months-1 year since the 2 great pharmacist left and the few good employees they had are gone this pharmacy is awful and there’s always new people there now. They don’t know how to talk to you in a good manner at all. I use to be able to go online and just refill a prescription it was easy. Now I have to call in almost every single time. 2 times this past month my doctor sent in prescriptions iv been getting for years but changed the amount on one. They put in the system 16 tablets for 16 day supply it took me almost a week to get it figured out after calling many many times and not one of the employees took the time to look and see it was because they needed to change the 16 tablets to 30 day supply and it went right through. Same thing happen on another about 2 weeks later… I had to tell them to look and change the amount of days the prescription was for. And it went through. They literally sent my Dr prior authorizations and was ready to get me off the line when I had to tell them how to fix the issue myself or I wouldn’t have the medications I need. This pharmacy is incompetent and the manager of the store as others have mentioned is very rude and has a nasty tone if you ask her anything even if it’s for help finding something. Today was the last straw when I went online and sent in a prescription it told me incomplete please call in. I called and the temp/new pharmacist told me it’s because it’s a new prescription refill even though iv been getting it for 5 years atleast, iv never had the problem before. I only stayed because of convenience but walgreens has lost a customer. I’m switching pharmacy’s.

Pharmacy sucks. They told me my medication was ready but when I arrived they made me wait 40 minutes. The following week I called to ask for a refill on a medication I didn't have a refill for. They said it was ready amd when I arrived there was nothing for me. Horrible, lazy, service.

I called Walmart and the pharmacy had no problem giving me the name of my prescriptions over the phone. My other prescriptions will filled by this Walgreens they refused to give me the list of my prescriptions in the name of my prescriptions over the phone. Never heard of such nonsense. Totally ridiculous and unacceptable. Is a current patient at caromont regional center here in Gastonia my attending physician needed to know the name of a certain prescription ASAP. For God's sake it was just the name of a diabetic medication. I will never use this place again.

* I visited this Walgreen's on 12/23 around 4:30.*For starters.. given the date being very close to the Christmas holiday I expected for the store traffic to be a little chaotic but it was not at all which was great until you actually go up front to check out. The cashier that checked me out had a disgusting attitude. I'm not sure what her problem was but if you know that you can't disguise your personal feelings while you are on the clock then you don't need to be at work dealing with customers.. simple as that. When asked if I had any points to redeem she stated "idk look at the bottom of your receipt." Oh really.. what lack of customer service, what kind of training does Walgreen's do for their cashier's? Obviously this one needs a refresher course. Aside from her attitude, the coupons that you clip online that are supposedly redeemable in-store are not whatsoever, so be ready to bring a paper copy in of the coupons or either go back and forth with the cashier and or assistant manager. Overall this Walgreen's is a true waste of time, I'd rather go to a busy store with less help than go to this Walgreen's and have plenty of people there that are suppose to help you but go out of there way not to.* There will most definitely be a call to corporate.*

The Manager Sybil was very rude! Told me if I had a problem to call corporate. I did. Destiny on the other hand was a very nice cashier, looked shocked and embarrassed by her superior. Im sorry she had to go through that with us.Personally I think they should switch jobs. No one should snatch merchandise away from customers in that manner. I'm still shook!😱 Had to go to another Walgreens and they didn't have the same items. Very disappointing 😕

Have been waiting on a prescription that was ordered 4 days ago and still isn’t ready. Tried to call and after 40 minutes of being on hold finally gave up. No one ever answered. Glad it wasn’t life or death medication. Time for a new pharmacy I guess considering I don’t know when it will be filled or why it hasn’t already.

I seem to can never get all of my meds filled. Prescribed by the same person on the same day, and it's never ready. Tonight I sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes behind a car and saw no movement from anyone on the inside. As I was getting ready to call (around minute 20), they finally began engaging with the customer at the window. The Dallas Walgreens never had issues like this one seems to always have.

Terrible customer service. My cashier wouldn't accept my coupons even through I was abiding by all the rules on the coupon. When I politely disagreed with her logic, she huffed and puffed and called the manager. No hello or thank you, just negative from the start. Digital coupons never work and this is not the first time a cashier has been unnecessarily rude. Walgreens should really give their employees training on how coupons work if they're going to advertise using them in their weekly ads. I won't shop here again.

As a medical professional myself the pharmacist was not able to give me any information on zinc 20% cream verses a zinc barrier cream. I would not recommend this pharmacy to any patient needing medications. Pharmacist also hung up on me.

My family and I went in to make Christmas cards. The First Lady at the counter was very helpful. During shift change we had another lady who had a bad attitude and it was an assistant manager. She kept being hateful to my husband to the point I told her what I thought! The pictures didn’t turn out right, and when my husband went to pick those back up he said she still smarted off something! I’m keeping the pictures just because I don’t want to have to deal with this rude and hateful lady again! Our 3 kids even noticed how rude she was!! Be aware, there’s just no sense in anyone being so rude and hateful to customers!!!

Great store but a little hard to access due to location and traffic laws. Got my vaccine here. They were amazing and only offer the Pfizer vaccine. Easy to make an online appointment. They also have great prices on makeup and other beauty products.

The pharmacy staff are the rudest most inconsiderate could care less people I've ever met. I hate people that sit there and look at me like I'm crazy and don't say a word the while I'm speaking to them, the pharmacist that worked 2-20-16 at 9pm needs a communication lesson. Take my advise and go to any other pharmacy. Never been treated so poorly. If I could post less than a 1 star I would. Get your nose out of your ass and act like you work in customer service.

Wow......what a poor customer service!!!!! Nasty attitude! It's pretty bad when you can't even buy 2 dozen of eggs for your kids. They refused to sell me eggs because I walked in the door with someone else who was buying eggs! How crazy is that? I'm my own paying customer, with my own money!!!!!! Why am I'm told I can't buy eggs???????? This is CRAZY!!!!!!! Hope you are happy Walgreens....we may have kids who will not have Easter eggs because you refused a sale. I guess I will take my business elsewhere because Walgreens failed!!!!!!

The worst customer service I have ever seen. We had our sons prescription filled out of state last month while we were on vacation. Had no problems. Then when we came home and had to have it filled at this location again. We were told that we would have to wait a day for the prescription because they have to call the other location. Instead of sorry for the inconvenience and a little bit of kindness I got " you should've called earlier" I guess I am supposed to just know about their internal policies. I guess I should have just known (even though they have access to that information) that the pharmacy out of state closes 4 hours earlier than this location. When I tried to call them to let them know they needed to call within in the next ten minutes or it would be another day, I was left on hold for 20 minutes. We will be getting ALL of our prescriptions at a different location from now on.

*in relation to Walgreens Photo specifically.As a design business owner, I get things printed a lot, typically from local printers. But saw a deal at this Walgreens for 50% a poster being printed. Thought I’d give it a try since I wouldn’t have to drive all the way to the printers; it was more convenient.Ordered a 16x20 personal bridal portrait of my wife, and when I recieved it they cut at least an inch off the top and bottom (half an inch off each side). Now it doesn’t take a graphic designer to know you do not do that as when it goes in the frame, it won’t fit. I can see what they tried to do as they probably tried to cut the white margins and bleed areas off the side so the photo ran all the way to the side, and when I spoke to the lady today, she confirmed that, but she said that’s how they do all their photos. I’m telling you guys, even the cutting job was horrible as if she let her grandchild do it with scissors.When I asked to get it corrected she made it seem as if I ruined the rest of her year. She made a huge deal about how it’s going to take forever (even though the last one took 2 minutes) and how I’m holding up the line.Horrible service, never using Walgreens Photo again.

I have had a bad day and to top it off I had to run around town looking for a pharmacy that was open to fill an antibiotics and pain med prescription for my dog that got bit today. I thought I was in the clear when I was able to find that Walgreens pharmacy was still open, but unfortunately it was near closing time for them and they were very busy. I waited patiently knowing that I needed to get back home to start her on her antibiotics and walked around the store after being told I would get called when they were ready. After walking around a few min I heard a name over the intercom for a pickup but it was not my name, so I disregarded it. After a few min I walked back to the pharmacy only to find it was closed and I was without my prescription. I saw the pharmacist and tech walking through the store to leave and approached the pharmacist asking about my prescription. She said she called my name and asked me "did you not hear your name?" and that the pharmacy is closed and I could come back tomorrow morning. She did not call my name,but I assuming she called my dogs name and with her horrible accent, how was I supposed to know that I was able to pick up so quickly, knowing there were multiple other people in line with me. I had to give my phone number, why wasn't that called to make sure I was able to leave with my prescription?I wouldnt have been out that late if I planned on coming back in the morning to pick it up...I wouldnt have been running around town to find a pharmacy that was open if I planned on getting it filled in the morning. I wouldnt have waited over 2 hours in the emergency vet if I didn't think that my dog need medical attention to make sure she was ok. I didn't think I would have been treated so poorly regarding my dogs well being. I needed her prescription filled in order to make sure she doesnt get an infection. I needed to be treated with the common courtesy that you expect from someone that works in the customer service field.I left in tears and disgust for this person that is supposed to be a professional. I will never go to a Walgreens pharmacy again in my life aside from tomorrow morning when I will demand to have my prescription returned to me so I can go somewhere different to get it filled.

Every experience I have had with this pharmacy has proven how they do not care about their customers. I do not like CVs and this Walgreens has me wishing I used CVs. I would rather drive across town to any other drugstore to get my meds filled after the service I have experienced at this location. Do not go here if you don't feel well. You will leave feeling worse than you did. Very unhappy with this store

The level of professional from the females at this establishment is very unsatisfactory instead of gossiping they should try to better service customers and save that for their personal time. THE STAFF IS AWFUL at this location. Mainly the pharmacy!!! Extremely rude, enjoying themselves and their side conversations, no curb side manner whatsoever. When you they answer the phone they’re extremely rude. No one smiles, no one has an energetic personality, no one is urgent. The girl named Taylor that works there in the pharmacy is especially awful. Y’all need to step your game up, Cox road walgreens.
