10 years ago when I lived in Gastonia, every time I would try coming here it ended up and I bad experience.I decided to try them again since they had the best prices on pine straw. After Customer Service referred me to the self check out where one of the assistance could help me, we made our purchase and they told us they would get someone to load it into our truck.We pulled over to the far end of the parking lot where the pine straw trailer was, and waited for about 20 minutes. After no one came to assist us, we pulled back up to the store and saw the self check out assistant that helped us to tell them that we had not been helped yet.They seemed surprised, and tried to call the same person to help us, then found out that person was filling in for someone else that was out at the moment. Then they tried calling for someone else, but no one else was available, then she said, if she couldn’t find someone else that she would go out there and help us.We pulled back over to the pine straw trailer and waited another 10 minutes before someone finally came out walking very slowly and acted like they were doing us a favor by helping us get the pine straw that we paid for.I will never shop the store again, and would never recommend the store to anyone sadly.The other store down the street is always friendly, helpful and very prompt, and will always be the place I recommend.

Amazing staff their top of the line to me, only issue I have ever had here is a associate Named Ivan whom grabbed my BF's shoulder as he picked a item up that should of been in an encased locked area to take to the employee at the self checkout area Mind you Not 10 FOOT AWAY so nobody would steal what they had already made it that far doing which ALSO mind you my BF & I are HERE DAILY & Know EVERY1 in this location HE is the biggest Contractor in this Region and so far spent Over $750,000 with this Home Improvement Distributor yet you have that 1 bad Apple out of the bunch that could Cost your store his business & yet he hasn't been reprimanded or even really gave a stern lashing Because he still follows us and is up on our heals daily! Which could be the worst part because everyone else seems to be extremely helpful or willing to give you the advice they can

Mo at the Gastonia, NC location saved the day! He went above and beyond to help me with something entirely outside of his job description. He didn’t make me feel silly and was committed to resolving no matter the time it took. We bonded over both being from Massachusetts and moving here for the warmer weather. The task caught the attention of Monroe and Tommy, who were happy to jump in and help. Thank you for the southern hospitality, appreciate you all.

Me and my husband went to purchase 130 bales of long pine needles. They sent 3 people out to help load them. They were expeditious and very friendly. Couldn't talk them into coming with us to lay all of it out though. Lol.

Order process was great.. Appliance is working GreatI gave a 3 star Because the installation Guys were Unprofessional, hateful and yelled about the attachment that came with our product...They couldn't find it.. installation was suppose to be free but we installed it....He said they were a sub contractor that just delivers...All in All it was a stressful experience with those men

They are some rude workers at home depot didn't appreciate how they were talking to me and think I was a thief or something. I go there alot but now I will go to an different home depot that we treat me as a customer, not a thief. I ran a business of my own.

They have really gone downhill with service and staff. Half the items they would normally stock were completely out of stock, which is an issue when the need arises. The self check out is a joke with computer issues.

Pleasant, helpful staff - even when the weather was turning on us in the garden area. All were wearing masks. Had a decent selection of plants and good prices on the soil and pots I picked up from them. Less crowded than their blue competitor, which is a good thing in these times, and I spent less than I would have there as well.

I hate this place. Never coming here again. Lowe’s forever. You literally cannot get any help from anyone at this store. Also, what is the point of having curbside pickup if you won’t come deliver an order curbside!!?? I have to come in and wait 30 min at customer service desk until someone can help me???

If they don’t have it in store DO NOT GET IT SHIPPED!!!!I have literally gone through hell just trying to complete my flooring project. I ordered 5 boxes of flooring, so far over 2 of them are damaged. I’m literally having to keep ordering flooring because they keep arriving DAMAGED! My last curbside order said my items were ready for pick up. We get there and only 2 out of 3 of the boxes are there, nobody knows what happened to the other box. Now I have to reorder another one and WAIT, HOPE, and PRAY that it is not DAMAGED like the others. Home Depot I get that you’re not doing the delivering, but someone need to be held accountable! This was a 2 day project that has now turned into a 3 week project and all I get in apologies. I’m EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the handling of my products that I spent my hard earned money on!

Easy to find stuff, staff doesn't rush me and my dogs while we train. I don't normally come to home Depot as it's a far drive, I shouldn't have to down load an app sign in, to get a military discount. Check out staff should be able to add the discount at check out with proper verification of ID and driver's license to match.

Store has gotten rough lately. Went in for an item on sale on the app and was told it was not on sale.. Ok I'll shop around. Found another item on sale I had looked at. Was told it wasn't on sale either and I'd have to buy it online and wait. Even though 2 were in stock. I was pretty upset. Thankfully Quieniah Smith helped me out. She had me order it online and gave it to me as soon as she got the notice. Thanks to her I'll still give 5 stars

Ordered a patio set online and had it delivered to the store and assembled. Excellent customer service and job well done on the patio set. It is beautiful! Love the fire pit.

I purchased online a 52" Husky Tool box/chest. I went to pick it up in the store. Upon my arrival they wheeled out a dusty, dirty, scuffed, scratched and dinging floor model. I was expecting a NEW item, perhaps still boxed. No where on the website did it disclose or state that the item you were purchasing was a floor model that was in this condition. An item that was used a demonstration item for people to play with. Falsely advertised.I refused the first tool box wheeled out due to dents, drawers that don't shut, scratches, scuffs, etc. I was informed there were not any NEW boxed tool boxes and I had to except it. I declined, there was another floor model on the floor, so I had to settle for that one. When I got it home I found that some of drawer liners were missing and the LED light that it was supposed to, and advertised to come with was missing. It is too big, heavy, and a major hassle to try and return. I picked this item up for my father who is a Vietnam Vet. and is unable to drive. I will wait and see if Home Depot reaches out to me. I plan to file a complaint with the B.B.B. False and inaccurate item listings without any discloser that you will receive a floor model and not a new boxed item.
