The staff in the grooming salon is always so amazing. My dog is a service dog and I never leave him. From the very first visit when I brought Justin in and explained to them that he is a service dog and that I will be waiting for him they have been completely respectful and understanding of the situation. I am so thankful to have such a caring place to bring him when he needs that “extra deep cleaning”.

I dropped my dog off at 11:15 for his appointment for a bath. The groomer came out immediately after he got checked in and took him back and I then left to run some errands in the area.Around 2:00 I realized I had never gotten a call saying he was ready so I went back to the salon and asked about my dog. They told me that he had just gotten into the bath. I questioned and they told me that they “must have had a lot of walk ins”. I asked to speak to a manager and she again told me that the timing was normal and “I don’t know what you want me to do”.I left to go sit in my car and wait on him. About 15 minutes later, I got a text that he was ready. I went inside to check out and then pick him up and he was very upset and growling at the groomer. The groomer didn’t say anything about how his appointment went or anything at all to me.I have been to petco many times for bath appointments and I have never had to wait three hours, nor have I picked him up in the state he was in. The groomer normally lets me know how he was and how everything went and this groomer didn’t say anything to me at all. I am very upset about how much money I spent for my dog to spend three hours in a crate and 15 minutes getting a bath, not to mention how he was obviously mis handled. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at any grooming facility

I had 3 account that were supposed to be straighton out and only have one pet name and have the plan with unlimited nail and teeth brushing and the lady corrected it. Account still show 2 names but I was told to use Broklyn.

They told us our girl was shy so they didn’t clip her nails. Like…yes we know, that’s what we wanted a professional doing them. And didn’t give her a bandana. Don’t get me wrong she is clean and still smells lovely. Just saying , if you pay for a bath don’t do add ons…not worth it.

I am supposed to be part of the vital care program but every time I go there to get flea meds for my cats I never get the discounts. This last time I went the flea medicine section said if you buy one you get one at half price on the vets best flea medicine but I was charged full price on the two.

I signed up for the Petco vital care being told in store I could cancel anytime but now I am being told that it is a year contract as I am trying to cancel it! They sign you up and con you into this like it is so easy just so they can continue to make money off of you when you no longer even shop with them!!!

Kirsten was on time! She listen to my concerns. She actually cut my Mal-shi like I asked. She gave me a 20 %coupon to used but I gave her a 20% tip instead! Anytime I can pick my pup up happy and not traumatized.. yeah she earned my business

Everything from being contacted before appointment to let me know I could bring both my dogs at same time instead of separate appointments was awesome, the check in was easy and friendly. Called when dogs were ready and they looked great! Petco in Gastonia is wonderful.

Great service. You need to quit cutting hours. Right now it takes over 3 hours and two months to get appointments. I’m looking for more convenience. One cashier. Lines, lines lines. You are not the only ones having this experience.

I can't say enough about Cherie. The pride she takes in her work, and the love she has for these animals (not just mine!), is evident. She would trim my old girl's nails, and in fact did so just a few days before she died. Cherie always made sure she had another person to support Jinx while Cherie trimmed and buffed her nails. She gives the same love and care to my young guy Scout that she gave to Jinx.

Good store just pl stop selling marshall pet products it's a big animal testing laboratory they abuss ferrets beagles and more if you adopt a ferret from here you are supporting animal testing you can get ferrets off of craigslist or ur local rescue adopting from Petco or buying products by marshall ur supporting animal testing so Petco if ur reading this please stop selling marshall pet products
