Great store with loads of options! My kitty boy can only have sensitive stomach foods so it's not always easy to find him a variety to eat. But this place has loads of things to choose from! Employees are also always friendly and helpful!

We love coming to this store and this location! The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about different kinds of animals and make us feel like friends! The prices are great for the things we buy and they have awesome sales and offer a rewards program. We won't go anywhere else!

absolutely not satisfied at all with the grooming of my dog!!! I know for a fact my dog isn’t squirmy because she’s been getting groomed her entire life and I took her to pet supplies today and came home and her back legs for one are not the same size AT ALL. One is way more fluffier and more hair, and the other looks naked. Her hair is all different types of length. I will not be bringing her back.

Super friendly, had a good conversation with two associates about ferrets ❤️Edit: I feel lied to, they said the baby was sweet and was always shaking and nervous. This little boy is an absolute Tyrant 😂 I'm glad my other ones are trying to bring him down,but he is a complete menace! 🤣❤️

During my visit two young black males were servicing the fish area, very respectful assisted me with some guppies and aquatic plants, to my surprise they also helped me with my dog food selection and even helped me Checked out. There were other team members but not as active and interactive with customers as these two young man. I completely forgot to ask for their name but I'd definitely come back. Their service was great.

This place was AWESOME! Now everything is almost out of stock. Never have the same dog food for my dog anymore and today they had maybe 5 types of dog food.

Brought my dogs in to be groomed. They did a terrible job. I could have done this at home. Literally looks like nothing was done. Took pics before they went to be groomed. Asked for the dog to be shaved down. Looks as if this nothing has been done. Called and the “manager” on duty said that someone would have to call me back on Monday. I am sure no one will call me back.

Used the dog wash on our first visit! Well appointed "spa" area, all supplies included (except your brush.) Also, highly recommend the shampoo kits you can purchase - the fragrance spray is great and lasts a long time! (There is shampoo and conditioner provided, the small kits are upgraded amenities.)

My dog developed a chicken/egg allergy and I needed to switch her food. I tried a couple of the freeze dried raw products and she loves them and I saw her skin improving. I shared with 2 of the staff members as I was contemplating trying the frozen raw and both employees were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Even suggesting additional alternatives to try.

We used to love this place! The owner (individually owned) is horrible! It was great when it first opened, but this guy cut back on everything!! Treat shelves are always empty, and they never have several different brands of dog food. I'm not sure what happened with this guy, but he is selling this store and the one he owns in Belmont, and I could not be happier!!! We absolutely love the staff it's not their fault that the owner sux!! We can't wait until the new owners take over and make this a better store.

I'd recommend Pet Supplies Plue Of Gastonia over any of the others like Pet Smart, & Pet Co. The animals they have here are much healthier & well taken care of the staff is very knowledgeable about what they sell " food, what type of bedding to use for what animal as far as which is best for them & what's not recommended for them ect.... Very helpful & they place a grantee on everything they sell and will even replace an animal if it doesn't make it after you get it home. I've never been so happy with a larger store like this type. Great place to gain knowledge of Pet supplies & pet's even before you purchase them.

It's a pretty cool store. They have a good selection but their prices are a decent amount higher than everywhere else which makes me hesitate before buying something from there. They do have a small live animal selection with some pretty cool Critters but those prices are also slightly higher than other stores.

Love that we can take our pups in and give them a bath ourselves. Very friendly employees and normally pretty good deals. One thing I don't like is that you can't use a coupon they offer along with your rewards money. I feel like that is two different things. 🤷‍♀️

A good pet supply store in South Gastonia. We have two cats. They do a much better job with stock levels for wet food than the grocery stores. We always find whatever we need for a reasonable price

Booked an appointment last week for my dog to be given a bath at 1:30pm on a Sunday. Got a text 4 hours before her appointment (9am, just before opening) from the groomer that they to leave at 12 and couldn’t keep my dog’s appointment and they were unable to work her in for a bath only. Won’t return.
