I went in this store within minutes of it closing. Employees were very helpful and courteous. Store was clean and in order. I treated them the way I wanted to be treated and had no issues at all.

Cashier Jaida Robinson helped me load the proper amount to my card which I had guestimated wrong I mean a $50 difference....I thank her for her supreme integrity.... Employees like her deserve a raise and recognition, good people are hard to come by - great people are irreplaceable! Thank You Again Jaida Robinson!!!

I shop at the store off 321 daily, the manager knows me... Yet these new employees had the nerve to tell me I can't bring my bag in the store which is a purse. I will be talking to tamicka tomorrow and letting her know!! I will take my business elsewhere until these new employees are gone

Ghetto, soon as I walk into the store it was three customers arguing with the ppl that work there. They was talking about coming back to shoot up the place and how they bringing ppl back to fight, it was a mess. Didn't feel safe at all

You close at 10! 10! You made my sister get out at 9:55 and cone up to the front at 9:50! I needed water and apple juice because I'm sick! These idiots working there made an excuse to close the store early! That is not customer service!

Place is seriously understaffed, typically 1 person, maybe 2 if lucky. Don't know how this place can stay open, I guess they make enough on what doesn't get stolen and for how little they pay to 1 or 2 employees justifies keeping the doors open. It's not employee's fault, I couldn't imagine dealing with such low pay for what seems to be expected of them in the atmosphere that they're in.

The employee staff is very helpful in helping me with items that I am not exactly sure of where they're located in the store and I always get in and out quickly (unlike my adventures in a Walmart here in Gastonia as to where one spends more time in the checkout process than the shopping). It pleases me greatly that the neighborhood Family Dollars store on Chester strives in customer service and support. Thank you for your help in making life easier.

8/19/18 12:30 pm. My mother came in to get bandages due to one of her grandchildren closing the car door when they were getting out to shop. Female store clerk in her 50 approx. yes old approached my mom when she asked for disposing the rags she had on her arm til she could get it wrapped when she bought gauze’s or bandages to cover it. She said they had no disposal for hazardous waste and not a trash can inside or out of the store. My mom put zip lock bag and was wrapped in paper towel so she could dispose of it. She said no and then chased her out side the store yelling with everyone staring and got up in my Mother’s face. This unacceptable. My mom bleeds easy due to doing radiation and chemo for pancreatic cancer now. She is 78 years old and something needs to be done about this incident or I will contact an attorney
