We took our 2 standard poodles who haven’t seen a groomer in a while. Long story short, I was so surprised when my dogs came out with beautiful haircuts considering there was matting involved. The staff is so nice and definitely made my babies feel comfortable with them right away. Thank you Summer!

Omg I could tell you how amazing my dogs hair cut was (which is absolutely amazing) but I want to take a moment to express my gratitude and appreciation to the staff!! They welcomed me and my babies with open arms and hearts. I could just tell they cared. I have a 70lbs aussiedoodle, and 15lbs yorkiepoo, they loved them unconditionally. They made me comfortable and also made sure I was completely happy. I’ve never felt so comfortable leaving my babies in someone else hands. You walk in and feel the good energy and warmth of love. Everyone here works extremely hard and are always happy to listen! I would tell anyone to come here and let your sweet babies enjoy these wonderful people! This is our 2nd time bringing Kai, our Golden Retriever. Summer was great to work with. She was super friendly. I explained what I needed done and she repeated it back to me. She told me that I would get a text when he was finished. I got a text and a call that afternoon. When I picked him up, he was happy, smelled great, feet & tail were trimmed well and his nails were trimmed perfectly. I got to meet Summer's French bulldog... what a cutie. Great experience from start to finish. Great customer service is hard to find nowadays, but you can find it here! It's obvious that Summer loves taking care of animals.

I highly recommend this grooming business hands down. I just completed my second visit here and from the very first walk to the door I really liked the fact that the door is locked. It may be a slight inconvenience to have to call them but I can be comfortable in the fact that the people and my pet are safe.The staff is very outgoing, and seem genuinely happy to see me again.They take the time to listen to my owner and understand the stress we both could have.As far as my grooming I feel like a million bucks when I’m finished and look forward to going back again.My owner even has enough money left over to by me a great toy that I can destroy in 2.5 seconds. Woof!

They are great with my Golden-LabraDoodle. He is 16 months old and a big boy. They always do a great job, whether it's a Face/Feet/Fanny or a Full Spa Groom. They are pleasant to work with and service and prices are far better than big box chain stores. They are worth the (on average) 10.00 a week that I budget for his grooming. That's about what it comes to when I take him every 6 weeks. He gets a full spa groom and then 6 weeks later he usually only needs a Face/Feet/Fanny (with full bath). He always looks beautiful when I pick him up.

I was searching for many grooming places, all of them were booked, then suddenly I can across Dog Gone Gorgeous, and they are amazing! They took me in and helped Beni-doodle look handsome. The staff are awesome, and their place is so cool! Already booked Beni next visit, my husband and I loved the way his cut turned out. Great experience! Definitely recommend!

I take our 3 dogs here. We have 1 Husky and 2 Akitas and we love this place. Everyone is very friendly, they do a good job, and prices are fair. They’ve helped me load up my dogs before because a lot of times it’s just me and my 2 small children during the day which can be tricky getting these guys in for grooming. There was one time where my female Akitas tail came back a bit too thin from brushing, but after talking with an employee about it, I’ve not had any problems since. These people are human and every one always has an off day so if you have an issue, communicate it! They will do their best to rectify the situation. They always listen to me which means a lot because I can be particular about my dogs and they always come back looking great. For the very few individuals leaving negative comments saying they cut their dog, they didn’t mean to and you need to remember these are LIVE animals that don’t always sit perfectly still - I know mine don’t! Groomers don’t get into the business to intentionally hurt your animals. 🤦🏻‍♀️COMMUNICATE with the staff before jumping on your keyboard.

We used Vanessa for our three pups when we needed boarding for vacation 8 days. Vanessa sent updates, pictures, posts, and my dogs returned happy and well cared for. They gave the pups a bath before coming home (how thoughtful).Our pups are also groomed here and get monthly nail trims. I can tell they enjoy animals and will continue to use them as long as we live in CLT.

BEST WAY PLACE IN TOWN!!! I have a toy poodle and they are the best by far. I used to take her to petco or pet smart, but her smell wouldn’t last long and their appointments were always far out. Here I can get an appointment within a week, they always go above and beyond. AND she will stay smelling good longer. PLUS it’s supporting local business so, I call it a win all around!!!

I've been looking for a new groomer for my very sassy Shih Tzu for months. I tried Dog Gone Gorgeous and they have done a great job each time. They take care of Harley Quinn and work with her when she doesn't like the dryers. I am very satisfied with how they treat my fur baby and I would recommend them to anyone.

I just picked up Rascal from his first grooming appointment here and I'm in love with his cut! Rascal had bad allergies and they make him so itchy, his hair was getting long and he was starting to get little mats and they were able to clean him up! I can already tell he feels so much better! Summer and staff are amazing. They have groomed all four of our pups and they looked fantastic. She even went as far as telling me with our Aussiedoodle pup exactly what we should be doing with her being so young. I had no idea we should be waiting till adult fur came in to give her a full cut. She was extra careful with our Gracie to introduce her to grooming and even FaceTimed me to show me how she was doing during her groom. She has given me so much advice to care for our new puppy. Great staff with excellent and affordable services!!!
