Picked up products ordered online. Fast process. Friendly service. But one of my boxes was open which was just weird. And the charge on my card went from 1 charge of a total of the two items to refunding me the money and charging for only one. Not sure who to contact or if I just have to wait for the other product to be charged.

Buyers beware!!! You have 15 days to return something, even if it’s unopened. Customer service is awful. They want you to pay for another $150 in order to return things past 15 days.. I will never spend my money at this establishment again!! I bought this item in October to return it in December as you can see in the picture it is unopened.

A great store for electronics. Hard to find any employees to help me with a few simple questions. Ended up in customer service where the cashier went out of her way to help. Seems she was cashing people out and helping everyone with questions. Must ask where are the employees to help the customers?

The staff was helpful. He took me directly to the printer ink. He also directed my friend to their appliances.This was a pleasant experience. They have changed the registers location. They are now near the far right after you enter the main doors.Hooray for the person who took me directly to the item, as well, as assisting in the selection!

A week before Valentines I ordered a Bluetooth speaker with free next day shipping. That was 19 days ago I have still not received my speaker and haven’t heard from anyone at Best Buy or the shipping Company. After waiting a week, I gave them a call and was told that I would need to do all of the legwork to call the shipping company and call PayPal in order to get the order canceled And have my money refunded. The biggest issue with his whole purchase is the fact that I was lied to about the date that this would be delivered and also lied to about the product itself now that the speaker is no longer on sale I will not be purchasing the speaker as it is not fair for me to pay the increase price due to Best Buy’s lack of proper planning. I’m severely disappointed with this order and all I was told is we’re sorry. I’ve made several Best Buy in the past with no issues this, however, has completely changed my whole outlook on Best Buy as a professional company. No longer will I recommend ordering anything off line from Best Buy.

Purchased a pre owed PS5 with spider man as a gift and once it arrived the game was not included so went up there to see if u could get the game couldn’t do that had to return the whole system and wait another week for it to be shipped back to Best Buy so now I basically paid shipping fees for nothing because I have to pick it up and get this go there on the date they told me just to be told that it won’t be unloaded until tomorrow SUCH A HUGE inconvenience to me especially since I don’t get compensation for anything definitely will be the last thing I ever purchase at Best Buy was gonna but accessories for it there today but definitely won’t be doing that

We bought a gift card for COD MW3 for our grandson. We were told that the activation code would be sent to my email. We did not receive the email. We called the store and were sent to a support line that was manned by people in another country. We provided all of our info...name, number, email address, PIN on the bottom of the receipt, and we were told that they could not see our purchase on their end, so they could not help us.

Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Tucker with the geek squad. I had an appointment today to get the back of my phone fixed. multiple employees walked by me standing by the service counter but he was the one to actually help me. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable. By far the best experience i’ve ever had with customer service!

Horrible customer service and attentiveness! My husband and I were standing in the store for 20 minutes and people walked past us didn’t even bother to ask if we needed help, we didn’t get greeted when we walked in either but others did and workers walked right past us to ask others if they needed help. Rude! Would never recommend this location to anyone.

It's mind blowing that digital orders cannot be refunded after purchase. Even with no redemption of the key or download of any sort. With all the ways there are to authenticate a user, account, purchase or anything else pertinent there can't be an option for assisting a customer that makes a mistake. With all the different stores and markets online you can still afford to deny assistance to paying customers. Good luck.

Actually a pleasant experience. Was greeted as I walked in and was directed to the correct area. Then was greeted by Madeline. She was pleasant and knowledgeable and walked to me checkout and checked me out. Very nice white glove service.

Wanted something simple like Chromebook just for 4 select apps and to research internet. Salesman showed me Chromebook guaranteeing me those apps would be no problem... surprise... couldn't even download Amazon! I returned the Chromebook wanting to let salesman know he lied to me. While talking to two other sales people this darn squeaky girl will neon vest comes with all her 49¢ of talking (mostly just constantly saying "yea" "yea") Even the sales people told her stop, they were answering my questions and concerns. Yes, I was upset for being out & out lied to in order to make a quick sale. At return desk we were informed that NO, you can't download Amazon app on Chromebook! How'd he know and absolutely none of the sales people did. Your best form of advertisement is word of mouth..I have a lot to say about Best Buy in Gastonia and the way they treat their customers! Sad their sales people can't be trusted to help instead of just sale.

My Microsoft phone screen broke. I called Microsoft who says only BestBuy can fix my screen. Call BestBuy 1-800 number who say yes they can fix it but cant give price which I can only get repair details about what is wrong with phone and pricing to fix is I make an appointment, so makes me appointment at this location for 10:40am on Dec 2nd 2023. Get to store first employee says to go to cell phone counter, wait in line for several mins for that employee to say so to Geek squad, wait there several mins in line to first thing be told we cant fix my phone. But BestBuy 1-800 number says they do. Still employee says no. Ask to speak to manager, wait 15 mins then leave. Manager never came. Have not shopped at BestBuy in over 10 years due to a similar issue 10 years ago, try to come back and similar thing happens again. Will never step foot in a BestBuy again.

I bought a Zagg screen protector for my phone for the lifetime warranty. I exchanged it several times at different locations without issue until I went to Best Buy (#175) in Gastonia. Because they didnt have the exact SKU in stock, they wanted me to order it but when the same thing happened at all the other stores, I paid(or refunded) the difference for a simular Zagg screen protector in stock. So back to Amazon I go!

My experience at this Gastonia location is regarding the Installation Bay. I purchased a remote start and stereo for installation for my 2011 Nissan Altima. I scheduled an appointment back to back to get both the installation done on 9/7/21. After three hours, I received a call stating that the tech was behind due to technical issues on the remote install and could only finish installing that one for that day. I understood because it happens and I wanted it to be installed correctly. I was rescheduled to the following Tuesday 9/17/21 to install the stereo. On that day, I received a call that my installation needs to be cancelled because the tech will be out for the week and I was rescheduled for Tuesday 9/21/21. Again, I understood because things can happen that can cause someone to be out work especially during this time. On Tuesday 9/21/21, I brought my car in for the installation. After about an hour and half, I was called and informed my car was ready. The next day, I noticed that the cover piece to my dash board was not put back correctly, my display control buttons did not work and my shift control cover was missing. I contacted Best Buy and was told that I would have to go back to the install Bay to notify the techs to fix the problem. The first available day I was available to go was on Monday on 9/27/21.Needless to say, after spending roughly $1000 and three week and three installation appointments later, my stereo was NOT installed correctly and other parts of the car malfunctioning and missing. Not a happy customer.

This is not a typical Best Buy store. I almost left after being confused about who was working the floor but Mason saved the day! Mason took me to the products I was looking for and made recommendations for the best products to fit my needs. Mason definitely deserves recognition and is an excellent member of the team!

If the nearby Walmart doesn't have an electronic thing you're looking for, may as well walk here.You'll pay more, though. They offer price matching, but surprise, they tend to have products in slightly different model numbers so that price match doesn't apply because it's not technically the same product.When the model numbers are identical, though, they won't give you a hard time about price matching so don't be afraid to ask.Unless you need it today, buy whatever it is you need with Prime Shipping instead on Amazon, unless you can get lucky with a price match.

Don't waste your time shopping at Best Buy, go straight to Amazon. They use Shipt for delivery. When the Shipt shopper steals your order, plan on 2-3 hours on the phone for them to figure out how to get you another one. Absolute nightmare of an experience.
