Was just there at the belk in theMall in Gastonia and this white worker followed me and myHispanic girlfriend around the whole time and continued to go and talk to every other worker I had a conversation with and then after that stood by the exit still just watching us the entire time. I liked belk but after that, I’m not so sure. I still purchased the item I wanted to because it was a gift but I don’t ever plan on returning.

This store has nice items but the prices are ridiculous compared to other stores. Way too expensive for me. If you're old and live on Social Security, stay away. You'll never be able to afford it.

We come here all of the time and the staff even knows us by face (especially my dad). Always friendly service! They have great sales during the year as well just have to be ready to look for them! Clean and one of the best stores in the mall!! The bottom is currently closed off to the mall entrance so you have to go up top to get into the mall (I think this is to help with COVID just not sure how).

This Belk definitely needs more "check out" employees, but I had great service today with a VERY efficient and courteous "check out" employee name Lavonda. Belk is blessed to have her!

Tonight, i went to the Clinique counter to purchase some make-up and when I walked up there was two sales associates talking to a couple. One was behind the Estee Lauder counter, helping the couple, the other was on the side with the customers. I waited 10 minutes, she never acknowledged me, or said I'll be right there, nothing. After the 10 minutes, I said is anyone working this counter and she replied very aggressively, "I'll be there in a minute". I waited another 5 minutes or so before she finally came over. Then when she did, once again she said very aggressively,"do you know what you want". I told her what i wanted, she never said thank you or anything. The rude sales lady is a very big, short blonde haired lady named Vanessa,I believe. Anyway, she assured the fact that I'll never shop at that store again.

All Belk service is poor. It appears nobody wants à job there. Poor assist on the floor with départements without à sales person. I've had to return women's intimate wear in Household on a différent floor.POOR CUSTOMER !

My aunt took me to Belks for dresses but we found ourselves in the jewelry dept. They had a great sale & was able to get a few nice pieces. Only in town for a week & hope to return

Went to watches dept.. saw nice watches which i want it try. That lady is sweet and manner.. i am very patient and wait while she work with other customers. Great deal with watch and % off from their sale is .. but very sad is it old mall and seem that will be closed mall in future.. it a lot of memories in 1980 lot of fun and cool that time.. will miss this mall

A nice department store to look for a new outfit. I was disappointed when I went in recently, although it was just before Christmas. I wanted cookie sheets and they had none. The kitchen department had a lot of empty shelves. I wanted flannel sheets but they did have many to choose from in King size. I wish it was like the old days when people worked in the different departments si when you had a question there was someone to ask.

Very terrible customer service. We went to get my son some pants yesterday. For one pair of pants we walked the entire store top and bottom trying to find someone to check us out while signs were on every register saying closed. 2 ladies told me to go to the jewelry stand to check out where 2 employees were helping one person. They asked if I tried a different register and I explained to them I walked the store trying to get checked out and was told to come here. While checking me out the other lady started complaining wanting to know why they keep sending everyone to her. I was so close to walking out. Had it been my clothes and not my sons I would have not bought the pants and I will never go back. Belks you need to do better. Atleast have someone at one register on both floors for check out. Customers shouldn't have to hunt a person just to check out. Especially when there were several just walking around the store. No one wanted to do anything I guess.

They've really started to be reasonable priced on a lot of their clothes. They run sales and have coupons on a regular basis. I'm satisfied with my purchases so far. Very clean store and all employees have been friendly.

Did a return very easy. Lines had slimmed down since Christmas! Looked a clearance-good prices if you could find your size in what you liked. Need to have more than one cashier station on a floor.

I use to Love shopping at this Belks, its truly not the same, 3 Managers here that I see all the time, it's certain customers that they speak and talk to makes u wonder, Some but few of the Employees here will go and beyond to help some can careless, they need Nike back, New Directions, Statements, Wonderfly collection is horrible, Nine West shoes

This Belk is kind of your typical Belk, just not as big. On this visit, the employees were scarce (but then again, who ISN'T low on workers) in the departments, yet plentiful by the exits. That wasn't a bad thing, because at least I knew where to checkout. The store is always clean when I visit and the employees have always been pleasant. The clearance sections are usually sizeable and their regular selections of items are usually stocked. Today's visit was for work pants (khakis) and they had plenty of sizes for normal sized and plus sized but my slender sized son was only able to get but one option from one brand.

It was fun catching some of the early Black Friday sales! I was able to get a couple of presents to send off for Christmas. There are sales of up to 80% off of some clearance items. Then, there are toys and the like that are 65% off. It was alot to see. The place was clean and well stocked. It wasn't junky either.Great shopping!
