So much better than Petco!I had an issue with Petco not wanting to sell me feeder fish for my large Oscar so I left and drove here. I'm very happy that I've found my go-to place now. No issues with selling me what I ask for and a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Another reason this place wins the trophy is the prices, they're so much lower than the competition.

I wish I could give negative stars. We went today to buy goldfish. They had three tanks of dead fish just floating and sucked up to the water circulator. It was beyond anything I have ever seen. I asked about it and the girl said they were not selling those because they were dying. I asked why they has not been cleaned out and her response was oh, I don’t know. When I checked out I asked for the manager. He came up and acted completely shocked. Not acceptable at all.

Don’t try to book a grooming appointment here. Their staff is unreliable and do not show up for their shifts. I scheduled a grooming appointment for my puppy three weeks ago for 4/1 at 10AM. Someone called at 9:35AM while I was on my way to the appointment to tell me that the groomer did not show up for her shift. I rescheduled for 4/8 at 5PM with a different groomer (Kathleen). Kathleen called the morning of 4/8 and left a voicemail to say that two people called out and she would not be staying until 5PM to take my dog. She acknowledged that my appointment had already been rescheduled once but did not offer a remedy. I will not be using this location for any services.

Can’t say good enough things about this location. I’ve been to multiple but White Oak location puts others to shame. My stylist this time was Autumn, this and last visits are great by her and all others employed. Thank you so much, will always recommend professionalism here and would pay double for such a good experience.

Sue in the grooming salon is so rude and lacks proper communication. For her to be the salon leader, she lacks leadership skills as well as people skills. I was highly disappointed in her grooming abilities. My dog barely smelled like she was washed. Her hair cut was choppy and amongst other things. Do not book your dogs grooming services with her.

Almost gave up three times looking for my cats prescription cat food, but all three I was met with wonderful employees helping me help my cats, I'm so thankful and he's doing better.Also there was this cute cat I wanted to bring home so badly, I hope she goes to a wonderful home.

Great options for my new baby boy. Adopted not a baby but love him our new addition to the family. The food I buy has real meat and Vegetables located in the refrigerator. Also bought the blue bow tie.🤣🤣

Always a friendly staff when I go to get crickets or feeder fish for my Red Eared Slider Turtle or when I bring 1 of the dogs in to get a bath or there nails clipped, but the employees are always smiling and seem genuinely happy to be @ work, must be pretty easy to go to work everyday when you get to be around animals all day (my dream job.)..Retail is more of a demanding job then most people think, you have to deal with all types of personalities as well as upset customers from time to time. So stay happy & friendly and I'll continue to do my shopping at your location...

I was at this location buying the food for my dogs I request assistance to load the food to my shopping cart however no one came to assist me, there was a young man that offer to help me, same thing happen when I request assistance to load it to my vehicle 🚗 after waiting by the register for 15 min I just walk out and ask a gentleman to please help me load to my vehicle.An associates walk by be on the phone and didn’t offer to help.😕

The store was clean and well stocked, also quite busy and that's why we had trouble tracking down someone to help us with finding something. Happily it was just a short wait in the queue at the checkout to talk with a staff member and it turned out that what we were looking for was in a secure cabinet at the checkout.

DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION WITH YOUR PETS!!!! They add false notes on your pets and false visits. Also groomer is extremely rude and will lie on you if you report them to corporate.

Took my puppy to the groomers to get her first puppy cut. Omg what a great job they did. Super friendly, took there time an the cost was fantastic. I will definitely bring my pup back in 4 weeks. Excuse the poor pic but she wouldn't sit still. 😆

Although the main store employees are great and you can get help whenever needed from the store staff, there’s a marked difference in their Grooming staff. They act annoyed with both the customers and with the pets, and act as if they hate their job. I’ve seen them being very rough with the dogs and losing their temper when they thought nobody was watching, so I make it a point to stand at the opaque glass and keep an eye on how they treat our dog when they clip her nails.Just took my dog in for a trim and grind (which also used to include ear clean, a bandanna, and some smelly pina colada spray), but I specifically indicated I didn’t want the spray. When the woman gave me the ticket to take up to the front to pay I saw it just showed trim and grind so I asked to make sure it included the cleaning of her ears. She looked angry that I’d even ask and snapped back that wasn’t included, so I specifically told her I don’t mind paying if there’s a difference, to which she snapped back “I’ll look at them”, and proceeded away. After paying I went back to watch and make sure she wasn’t rough with her like I’ve seen some of their groomers are. She wrapped up pretty fast so I went in to pick her up. I asked her if she took care of her ears and she said she looked at them and they were fine, which was a lie because we had to clean them ourselves that night. She also didn’t even clip all her nails, leaving us to clip one that she left which was long and about to cut into her pad. Needless to say, we’ll never be using them again, and recommend others to steer clear of them.

I always have had excellent experiences with friendly staff that are so helpful with any questions I have about not only their products in store, but also sharing personal experiences with pets and tips or just answering my questions I always have! The pets they offer always look very well taken care of and healthy. I have not personally bought a pet from them. Products I have bought from them have always been great!

Very friendly staff at banfield. They made sure that we understood everything about all the shots and the rabies tag and even how to switch niyas microchip information. Niya loved all the staff which made it very easy. So with that being said. I also purchased a Guinea pig for my son for Easter, everything was fine minus a little sneezing in which he never recovered from and sadly got worse and passed away around 12:30 this morning. My son is extremely heartbroken as this was one sweet little guy. I'm so angry with being sold a sick Guinea pig. Aside from the vet... I will have nothing to do with any further animals at petsmart. P.s. I have 2 other Guinea pigs that are thriving so it's nothing I'm doing wrong. The other 2 are a yr and a half already.

I had a great experience this time when I had an awful experience about 4 months ago. Kathy was the best groomer I ever had. Thank you for changing my mind about petsmart grooming. It was their last chance. I will only use kathy going forward.

I drive from Raleigh to this location for grooming purposes. The Knightdale location always had issues with my fur baby and I almost always had additional fees for him. This location not only has no issues grooming him they also adjust off any costs for services they couldn't perform because he was simply not in the mood or the service simply was not needed. The extra 15 minutes drive is so worth it!!!

They place had a great selection of dog food and pet supplies. It is always clean and the staff is very helpful. My daughter loves to go and look at all the fish and animals they have there.

worst grooming ever. please do not come here to get your dog groomed, i took my puppy here today and asked them to do what they did last time since they have our records. we got him back all shaved with a lot of bald spots, his nails were extremely sharp, my puppy’s nails were more sharper than when i took him, i asked if they cut his nails they told me yes they did but that he was yelling a lot, which was unexpected because my puppy has never had this problem, my puppy was shedding a lot which leds me to believe they washed him before cutting his hair. customer service was terrible in the grooming salon they were just laughing at what they did to my puppy. please reconsider come here to get your puppy groomed. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH SUE, there are so many issues with what she does and so many complaints that has not been taken care off.

The young lady in the fish department was fantastic very informative knows her stuff, but the equipment for the tanks is broken, not working she needs some help with new equipment or equipment to be fixed a lot of the filter systems are broken.

All I am going to say is that you need to read the bad reviews of the grooming department and take them to heart. I will NEVER,NEVER TRUST, petsmart with the safety of my dog again. And no matter how any executives carefully woorded rebuttal to my review will sound caring and nurturing the fact still remains that my dog was hurt badly under the care of the grooming department. My advice is to run, not walk but run as fast and far as you can from this company and the service they offer. But in all fairness the vet clinic was extremely good to my dog after she was hurt by the staff at the grooming facility. Thank you Dr Davis my dog is doing much better
