What a great snow cone/ice cream place! We found this place on the way back from our visit to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. They have an extensive amount of snow cone flavors. We tried the “Hatteras style”…which is ice cream with snow cone on top. The flavor combinations we tried were: orange snow with vanilla ice cream (think creamsicle), pink lemonade snow with strawberry ice cream, tigers blood (watermelon, strawberry with a hint of coconut flavor) with rainbow sherbet, and pink lemonade snow with rainbow sherbet. All were delicious! And for any diabetics or those watching their carbs…they have sugar-free options for all of the flavors! Will definitely try to go back before our vacation is over! Lady behind the counter was so nice and a very quick and efficient worker!

Absolutely loved this cute little roadside treat. The workers were so kind and there was such a wide selection of flavors to choose from. We got piña colada and dill pickle. Both were great and refreshing.

I loved this place and I got to stay in the Airbnb that the owner has and they were very nice. The Sno-balls were great and they also had ice cream. They have a very nice outdoor patio set up and I overall just loved the place.

I loved this unique place! Stopped here twice while on vacation 2 weeks ago. Almond praline ice cream is bomb. On the 2nd visit I got a Hatteras Snowball .... cherry shaved ice with chocolate ice cream. Was like a gelati from Ritas but better.

Great place! Best snowballs on the beach by far. Margie (the owner) never forgets a single face-nothing beats good southern hospitality. A must when you’re visiting the island. I recommend the hatteras snowball with strawberry ice cream and tigers blood😜

Right next to the campground we stay at each year! They always give amazing suggestions of combinations for all the flavors they have. The perfect place to stop at after a hot beach day :)

The workers are very friendly and even complimented my shirt and my sisters bikini top even before we ordered, we went back multiple times and we are very sad we cant go more often (since we are from Mass). These snow balls are a must if you go down

This is the BEST place (and maybe only?) On the island to get snow balls! They also have icecream, soft serve, and floats. Pretty much any ice cold treat you can think of, they have! Nice little deck for snacking, or easily take your snow balls with you to the beach. I always get a strawberry snow ball, and sometimes get it "Hatteras Style" with a scoop of vanilla icecream in the bottom. And the prices are so low, you can literally go every day with a handful of kids and not break the bank.

If you are looking for a Sno-cone, look no further. I've never seen so many flavors before. Plus, you can add ice cream (Hatteras style) In addition, they have over a dozen ice cream flavors with toppings. Prices are very fair. For example, a milkshake was about$6.50. A small Sno-cone was a little over $4. The place was busy and the parking was a little tight. The lady and teenager behind the counter were very pleasant and polite.

Excellent prices! 2 scoops for $4.25 and they are generous scoops! Sno cones were great too! The staff was friendly and helpful. The outside is cute with chairs and tables. Highly Recommend!

Hatteras style sno-balls are so refreshing! My new favorite treat! Shaved ice with ice cream. We loved trying all the different flavors like Margarita with sherbert, cola and cherry with black cherry vanilla, and rainbow birthday cake! The owner is super nice and loves to help you pick the right flavors for the perfect treat. This is a must-stop when in Hatteras or Frisco.This location is a walk-up ordering window with limited outdoor seating under a covered porch. They only serve ice cream and shaved ice. Handicapped ramp and stairs in front, limited parking on side. Just a quick stop for a yummy treat!Vegetarian options: Ice cream and flavored ice.Kid-friendliness: They make rainbow or kid themed treats and flavor combos. Also sell kids T-shirtsWheelchair accessibility: Ordering counter, outside seating, wood ramp in front.

This place is awesome! Such a simple concept, but sooooo good. We were completely overwhelmed by the combinations, and the woman I assume is the owner hooked me up with her own personal favorite….I believe it was something along the lines of margarita/mojito ice with rainbow sherbet? Highly recommend…but take mosquito repellent. You’ll be glad you did.

Just a really cool, local place. It’s one of those kinds of places that makes you feel like a local just because you know about it. It’s not just snowballs, but a great selection of ice cream, floats, shakes, etc. Excellent location if you don’t want to go all the way south to Hatteras or north to Avon to satisfy your sweet tooth. The staff is friendly, and you get the idea that they love what they’re doing, and they love hosting their customers.

This place alone will keep you coming back to Frisco, North Carolina. The owner did a very nice job staffing, making it her own, and making it very unique. The owner herself is very nice and makes the experience even more delightful. The snowballs are something I have never seen or herd of before, and they were very very delicious. I would totally recommend for family’s! I look forward to my next snowball. So next time you find yourself in Frisco you should totally take time to visit Hatteras Island Snow Balls!

I’ve been coming to OBX for quite a while, and this is always one of my favorite places to stop! Marge is super nice and makes everyone feel welcome, and you can’t go wrong with any of the flavors. I recommend trying a Hatteras Style Snoball if you’re stopping by - there’s plenty of flavors to choose from so there’s sure to be something to suit the whole family.

Our 1st time visiting this far south on the island and just so happened to stop by this place on the way back to our room, and what a great treat! The owner was great and made some really good recommendations and they even had the marshmallow topping we're used to from back home! Highly recommend the Hatteras style with the ice cream on the bottom and sno ball on top! Enjoy.

Went to this snowball shop 3 days in a row. Get the ice cream on the bottom with the snow cone on top.You will not be disappointed. 10/10Margie is awesome down to earth person.Friendly aloha atmosphere.Would give you more stars if I could.
