Very nice ice cream shoppe, Hank was very nice and made a great sundae. They have lots of seating outside. Everything is super clean. Our sundae seemed a little pricey ($9.00) but was really good.

Really great place to get some ice cream and good vibes!! :) glad we stopped here on a warm night!We got all different kinds of sweet treats! The Stars and Stripes Sunday was pretty good! The milk shakes are also a great option.

We were looking for good ice cream while staying in Buxton for the weekend. What we found was quite a unique, little ice cream place with more than just an ice cream cone. Chilly Hank's Ice Cream has several sundae options with excellent prices.I had the salty caramel truffles and cookies n' cream. I loved it!We enjoyed this place, and we are big fans of supporting local businesses. We plan on coming back.I highly encourage you to visit Chilly Hank's Ice Cream when you’re in the area, very much worth it!! This is a business that accepts both cash and card payments.

Chilly Hank's Ice Cream was absolutely amazing. My family is vegan and usually ice cream shops only carry sorbet that they can eat. Not Chilly Hank's! They had a few flavors that were vegan (even one that had chocolate in it) and the kids loved them. This place is a must stop if you are in the area.

We visit the OBX (South 12) multiple times a year but this was the first time we have visited Chilly Hank's. The service was top notch and we actually met Hank our 1st visit. He's super nice! The menu is full of options so even your pickiest party member can be satisfied. We enjoyed it so much we visited two times the week we were there in Frisco. We can't wait until our next trip so we can visit again!

First of all, I don't normally give 5 star reviews unless my experience was truly exceptional. That 5th star does not come easy by me so this is serious. On this little sand bar options are few and business is hard. I heard they opened another ice cream shop and was hoping to get to try them out before the end of the season. Well it finally happened and I have to say that these folks have nailed ice cream. They have a huge selection of enticing flavors, not just the run of the mill that you find at every ice cream shop but some really interesting flavors. Not to worry though, they have a few of the standard flavors if you are perhaps a little apprehensive to try new things. I can see that these guys are well positioned for a long successful business. You definitely need to try them out. You will not be disappointed! It's true that Santa, Mrs Claus, all their elves, and even The Grinch eat their ice cream!

Great ice cream!!! Their affogato is amazing. Love that this place is run by a husband and wife. They stayed open later for us and they are open later than Happy Belly ice cream. Overall great experience!!!!

The greatest place I’ve ever been. My brother got so excited about there being a vegan option that he ate three scoops and made himself sick. 10/10 would go again. Chilly Hank himself served us and yes he DOES look like the photo. We now have treasured cups with his face on them that our grandchildren can inheritDietary restrictions: Oat ice cream option for vegans/lactose intolerant individuals

This is the BEST ice cream place on the island! We tried several ice cream places closer to Avon but they all closed earlier than their listed times. After calling and telling them we would be there within 10 minutes of closing they still said come on. Our group had 15 people in it and they stayed open to serve us. They had incredible allergy practices and made us feel very comfortable with our peanut allergies. They had a great selection of ice creams and great prices. The owners were very kind and generous! They even opened back up to let in two more people 20 minutes after closing! We would highly recommend this wonderful ice cream shop!

Chilly Hank’s understands what a generous scoop of Ice cream looks like. Add to that, an empathy for the customer:In my experience, Mrs. Chilly Hank was a bit overzealous with the scooper, rendering the scoop onto the tub holder. Instead of throwing it out, I was awarded the additional scoop in a container at no charge. That’s a style of business I can appreciate!

We tried this and a couple other ice cream shops on the island, and my only regret from the week is that we didn't exclusively get ice cream from Chilly Hank. There were 9 in our group and we all agreed Chilly Hanks was the best. Great assortment of ice creams and desserts, clean interior and friendly staff! I wish we lived closer so we could go back!

We loved it! Hank’s was a super welcoming , very cute place. Lots of choices of Hershey’s ice cream which is the best. Hank was very nice and personable. Also the porch had really nice seating and plenty of it. We will go back!

Me and my boyfriend love this place! We went last night and I got “The Bonfire” which was amazing. My boyfriend got “Catch of the Day” and enjoyed his sundae as well. So many flavors to choose from. Staff are super friendly! Will definitely be back soon.

oh man, my husband and i stopped here before mini golfing across the street and loved it. there’s classic flavors like chocolate and vanilla, and more unique flavors like brookie dough and coffeehouse cookies and cream. hello? brookie? that’s my dream come true babe. the latter two flavors my husband i got, and we were enamored. simply in love, i believe. the staff is friendly, the service was fast, and we heavillyyyyy enjoyed it.

went in tonight and had a good experience. the staff was friendly and the ice cream was delicious! there was 6 of us and all got something different. the only reason i could not give 5 stars was the milkshake was pretty thin. if i could have given 4.5 i would have.
