This was the first time we needed to board our families three dachshunds. Shannon answered all of my questions promptly before we brought them to the kennel. All of the staff were so sweet and excellent with our fur babies. It put us at ease leaving them for such an extended period. We even emailed them while on our trip and received a prompt reply that they had settled in and were eating well and enjoying the grassy area. A great place with great people. We will not hesitate to board our pups there when needed. Highly recommend.

My baby absolutely loves this place! When we pull up he knows where we are! He jumps out of my car runs up to the door and he's ready for his stay! They do a great job there! Highly recommended

Bodie spent last week at Almost Home "camp" while his pawrents went on vacation. He is a high energy dog but came home a sleepy, clean, great smelling and content young man. Thanks for a great week away where I knew my boy would be safe and loved!!

First of all, let me just say their communication skills are unbeatable. As soon as I would message, they would message me back within 30 minutes. Any questions asked, I got clear answers.Second of all, they're more than accommodating. We had our pup boarded for a week, (and a extra day unexpectedly) and they were more then accommodating to us having to add another day.Third of all, he smells great! Their bath/groom is awesome. They even sent him home with a cute little bandana on. SO CUTE!!I asked for pictures and updates, and received just that. I cannot explain how relived I was to find them before going on vacation. I will recommend them to any and everyone until I’m blue in the face!

We love Almost Home kennels. Our little schnauzer Ruger always seems happy at pickup. Never distressed. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I have called before during his stay just to check on him, they are always willing to give an account on how he is doing. We have used Almost Home many times in the last 8 months. Good job and highly recommend.

These guys have never let me down. They treat your dog with the same amount of love and care that you do. Great rates. Awesome grooming services. Fenced in play area dogs get access to every few hours. Your dog will get lots of love and attention. I highly recommend these guys.

We've been taking our dog Camryn here for boarding for about 5 years. They love her here & she always loves staying with them. Never had any problems whatsoever. They run a good business & really care about the animals.

Will not take my dog anywhere else! I have been taking my dog there for 5 years or more and have not had a bad experience yet. The staff loves my dog and he loves them. He RUNS to the door and is eager to get back in the runs. So thankful for Shannon and her staff!

Needed a place to board our dog for New Years Eve, based on other reviews we decided to try them.Dropped off our dog at noon on Monday, was told that they were "closed" Tuesday for New Years day so would have to pick up Wednesday and pay for 2 days (though someone should have been there taking care of the animals on New Years Day but I understand the game).When we dropped off our dog we asked to see where she would be staying, but unlike in other reviews, staff was reluctant to show us around and only allowed us to look through the door from the lobby.Picked up at 8am Wednesday (44 hours after drop off) and was told that the bill was $66 for 3 days. I explained that my dog was at their facility for 44 hours which is not quite 2 days but was told "sorry, owner sets the rates, she was here Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday".I looked again at their website to make sure I hadn't missed their "calendar day" policy and still don't see itSo if you leave your dog with them one night, you pay for 2 days...ridiculous.I feel ripped off and will not be back.

Ok let me start by saying the staff are very nice people. When I dropped him off, everyone was nice and I felt very comfortable leaving my pure bred American Bulldog with them. This was the first time I would be leaving him since I got him as a puppy so like any parent, I was nervous. They let me call and talk to him every day and gave me updates. This is the only good thing I can say about this place. When we picked him up, he had this white powder on his back and green gunk on his legs but I know dogs get into things so I brushed it off. The next morning my wife and I woke up to him coughing, reverse sneezing, and gasping for air. Scared out of our minds we rushed him to an After Hours Clinic where he was diagnosed with Kennel Cough. He is current on all his vaccines (if we are going to pay for a pure breed, we are going to keep him healthy). I called Almost Homes to make them aware of what had happened and alert them to the contagious disease in their kennels. The worker was very apologetic and almost in tears (she truly loved our dog like we did) but the Owner told her she would not speak to us and there was nothing she could do. This is sad that the Owner did not want to take the time to talk to us and made that poor girl do her dirty work. When you run a business and something happens, even out of your control, you try to make it right. We couldn't even get a "Sorry" out of her. Poor business ethics.

So clean. Good rates and friendly staff. We went in to see the facility before we boarded our dog and the were very open to walk us through the entire boarding area. Very happy with them so far.

I was looking for a place to board my 70-pound mixed breed dog while I was out of the country on vacation. I called Almost Home Kennels to make a reservation, and they invited me out for a tour before I dropped my dog off.The facility was clean even though they seemed to be busy when I stopped by, and they showed me where my dog would be staying, where they would let her out to play and use the bathroom.They let me bring toys/bedding/treats from home to make my dog feel at home.Overall good experience with this business. Will use again.

very clean it does not smell like a kennel the fur baby's get let out every 2 hours and the staff plays with them so they don't get bored it is a second home, they get feed the way you would feed your baby's at home, you can bring your pets bedding and toys and treats and they put it in there with them ( Not like other kennels that just say they do) the price is right, and the staff are experienced and professional. don't take my word for it every one should take there fur baby's there call for a tour check it out!!!!! i love the place so does my fur baby.
