Why are there tons of dead flies all in the deli area? My pics just show one small section. The dead flies were all over the rest of the cheese area at the deli.Can't do much about flies coming in, but you can do something about cleaning up the dead ones. There's no way those flies have been just from a day or two. Clearly no one is cleaning up.Managers need to get on top of this before the health department sees it.

I came to Food Lion in Franklinton on Christmas Eve. I was expecting it to be a mad house, but it wasn't! The staff was super friendly and I got through the checkout so fast. Amazing job guys! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Employees they hire are too stupid to figure out how a $100 bill is real... She marked it with the pen and held it up to the light and told us she could not honor it... It literally just came from the bank... we've spent thousands at this location and will not be returning

Clean. Safe. Good produce. High staff turnover. Sometimes they know where items can be found, sometimes not. Good place to get groceries quick. Better prices than Harris Teeter and other stores. I love Sprouts for produce and sushi, but I always go to Food Lion for other items like pet food and non-perishables. Good basic grocery store. I personally don't like Lidle (except for beer/wine) or Aldi. I have found their staff is typically rude and they act annoyed I'm shopping there. Wegmans is good, some things over priced, not good for quick shopping. I get seafood at Maddens seafood. I get meat at Sprouts. Food Lion sometimes has meat marked down. I miss the butcher shop in Food Lion, they'd save bones for my dog. I used to know everyone that worked at this Food Lion, now I don't know anyone. New staff every week it seems. Never a good sign.

This use to be the best place to shop. I don’t know what’s going on lately but it has been going downhill. Prices on the shelves are mislabeled, the sale signs are not being kept up with, seems stock is not being kept up with as well as it used to. The only good thing left is the few employees who were there previously who have chosen to stay.

Very convenient location just off the main highway. Checkout was a breeze. The lines initially looked long, but on closer inspection I found an adequate mix of Regular/Express checkouts operating. The traffic was moved along swiftly in an efficient manner. I was quite impressed.

Went in last night, July 18th for a quick grab of things and our cashier who checked us out was so rude. I would hate to blame it on race but the cashier was nice to the white man in front of us but when it was my friends and I turn (3 black girls) she wouldn’t even tell us the total. Also never even made eye contact and really treated us like we had some sort of disease. Awful treatment and beyond disappointed in my local grocery store.

If you are serious about Covid....I would avoid this place at all costs. Have given them several chances, most of the cashiers wear masks, but most of the managers refuse to wear them correctly or at all. When you walk in and there are 2 managers, including I believe the store manager, standing there masks down forcing customers to walk between them or wind through the stacks in the lobby. I won't go back. Update...nothing has changed

We recently switched to this food lion from youngsville and have never had a problem with food lion Togo pick up until we came here. Went through the app process and it said someone would be out shortly, 20 minutes later I ended up calling the store to let them know I was waiting outside. Took another 15 minutes.. maybe their store isn’t up to date with Togo order technology.

Unfortunately because I live in Franklinton unless you want to drive a ways you have to use this food lion or else I'd never go in here again! There are two cashiers one who I had today and another that works mornings they are both older white ladies with light color hair(avoid them if you can) , but they are miserable people they are never nice they dont speak to you when you are checking out period they dont say hello, they dont give you your total, they dont say thank you or good bye nothing! I've even tried multiple times to start a convo with both of them while they were ringing up my items and nothing! I dont understand why they are so miserable but they clearly dont want to be there, and they make me feel like I'm bothering them because I'm buying groceries. I use to work for food lion a while back and my manager would have never allowed it I know the company has higher standards than this It's the worst store for customer service I've ever been in!!

Won’t be coming here anymore.I come here multiple times a week and every time I see at least some of these kids working the register face down in their phone or showing each other something when they should be helping customers.Employees slam down bags of food while staring at their phones. Constantly bag my meats with things like veggies or bread instead of separating.Will put heavy things on top of softer items.No self check out of course, so you have to deal with these children they’ve hired.

Just like any food lion really, which isn't a bad thing. I can't speak for all hours of the day but I've never had to wait in line long. I wish there was proper training on bagging. I shouldn't see raw chicken and fresh veggies in the same bag.

Good location, right on US1 @ Franklinton, ez in and out. Clean, not busy at 2pm on Monday. Prices good, selection mostly good. Still having trouble finding Crystal Light instant tea.

Yes you can buy food here BUT Its ran down alittle, That's just my opinion....I guess it's just the town.If it wasn't for HOME TOWN CAFE In The same plaza I wouldn't even come here Because HOME TOWN CAFE Has got the best COUNTRY COOKING Around ! Hell I drive 25 to 30 miles to get there From my Home but it's worth it.
