This is the Food LION in Cherokee, NC. This one is larger than the store in Sylva, and when we are in the area we love shopping here. I haven't eaten at the Deli yet but the food smells really good. The Chichen wing bar and the Chinese Food bar are very Tempting. I plan to try them soon. And of course the Rotisserie Chickens are Delicious too. Food LION has great Produce and Meats along with great prices on all of the staple items in a grocery store.

Daisy is the best! I told her “you’re too fast, I’m getting dizzy!” She is so pleasant, funny too. She even tolerated my “Driving Miss Daisy” jokes.Kathy with a “K” is so personable & funny. She could do “stand-up” comedy! She also makes me dizzy w/her fast check out : )

Very clean store and just had exceptional service from Pam. I need to do more shopping there and pay 10 cents more on cheese and get friendly service in return!

Food Lion brings that smaller Home Town Grocery Store feel back to life. As most markets super size their mega stores. Franklin Food Lion and its super friendly staff are waiting to help you at every turn. Real butchers that offer to cut or repack any need you may have. A full deli staffed with caring people who go out of their way to meet you needs. I can't say enough good things about Franklin Food Lion. Now that I have reach that age I have to say it is very elderly friendly. Wide Aisle, Small store so your not exhausted like walking from one zip code to another. and Super Friendly will to help staff for all your needs. Give them a try I know you will love the as much as I do.

You really have to watch to make sure you are getting the "sale price". I paid 5.99 for potatoes that should have been 2.99 and gluten free wraps are always higher priced than what the sign says on the table. Its a nice store but Im getting fed up with the "hit or miss" pricing.

Shoppers beware, Me and my family have given this Food Lion chance after chance.. Each time we shop here there is always a ton of nearly expired food, especially produce, dairy products and also meats. It makes it really hard to find quality grocery’s. Also the food that has a lengthy expiration date ends up going bad faster than what’s printed on the product. The produce and meat are also of just very poor quality. We have shopped here every once in awhile for years and it’s just never changed, regardless of remodeling or not. We are officially done with it.

Newly remodeled store. Very clean and laid out. They still have a couple of refrigerators to fill. Very nice employees. Today, Feb 19, until 4, they are having a remodeling giveaway. Also, they are handing out 5 dollar coupons.

This store has been completely updated and restored. Everything is fresh and clean. A great place to shop. They have a very extensive selection of food at reasonable prices.

Very friendly staff and the shelves was stocked with a great selection . I liked alot of the sales items as well as regular priced items cheape than the other grocery stores in the area so I will be back for sure !

This branch is just getting started. But so far is o.k.(That was perhaps summer 2022?) Now May 2023 shop occasionally, hard time keeping track of prices at my age. But seems good food at good price. Clean store still, and friendly staff. I've actually used this store on purpose a few times because it is a little smaller and easier to deal with, for me.

I am very impressed with the Franklin Food Lion, I recently moved back here from Waynesville and this is the nicest Food Lion I have seen, I been to about three different locations, the store was stocked and clean, very impressive!

I went to the Food Lion in Franklin NC today as I have on a few occasions. Until today I was impressed with the store. Today however I was met at the door by a rather unfriendly employee who immediately began harassing me about my service dog. She follows me around the store as I shop and I try to ignore her and get the items I need as I get to the last item on my list a group of children yelling, clapping, and and stomping loudly approach. My dog begans to bark and this woman never more then arms length from my dog while I was in the store tells me I will have to remove my service animal from the store. I for the second time point to my dogs if card and state she is a service animal she does not have to be put outside. She then tells me my dog is not a service dog because service dogs do not bark. I did not know food lion employees were trained in this area. But I am contacting my attorney. My rights were violated today so we're my animals and it was an embarrassment to be singled out and harassed like this.

I was very impressed with the store! When I first walked in the door they had the Florida department everything was well labeled organized neat clean and the staff are very helpful. It's a super nice store if I lived in Franklin I would shop at food Lion. If you're looking for a grocery store to shop at food Lion looks like a very nice store

My family did not like any of the deli products, the chicken was very dry and the sliced Premium Ham was full of gristle. But, the employee behind the counter was very friendly and the store had some good sales. I think it boils down to personal preference, I normally shop at another grocery store and decided to give this one a try, not my cup of tea but I do know a lot of people like them. I'd just say try it for yourself, you may or may not like it.

I go there because they have fresh pet select there. And their meat prices are pretty good. New since the last time I was there is they are remodeling. Going to have a big deli section which is nice. I can't wait to see all they are going to improve.

One of the nicest physical grocery locations in town, Food Lion is comparable with the old Bi-Lo which it replaced and the several Ingles markets in town. As far as selection it is more than adequate (some of the best quality and variety of produce around Franklin). The facility is clean and the staff are great (especially, but not limited to Dolly, who is a spectacular manager.)Food Lion staff who remained through the change from Bi-Lo also seem to agree that Food Lion is a better company to work for, too.

Cashier was sweet, bag boy was funny, they have everything most grocery stores have, thought prices are more then other places I usually go to, HOWEVER in the meat area there were" manager special" cooked loin chops and no expiration date anywhere on them so no clue how fresh they were or off they were or of date soon etc... That made me walk away. Perhaps manufacturers fault as it had an area for date but it was blank. Over all was ok... Staff was great!!

I shopped Bilo and then it became Food Lion and I continued to shop there. I liked it until last visit. They have changed the checkout process. The cashier no longer unloads the cart, you have to unload the cart. There are no baggers . You have to bag the groceries yourself. As an elder person with lung issues I am very disappointed in Food Lion. So much for customer service.

They were out of turkeys 2 days after sell started, the market manager had a flippant attitude. When I asked him about turkeys he said you all ready know we're out. When you see a big empty case. Then the cashier kept making mistakes scanning then removing...I was confused..the woman who came to help bag, Amy was dismissing my concerns and was rude about it. When I asked why the pies were on there so many times..she got short with me...she said she took them off. Like ok that's it. No further talking...thought I was in boot camp...anyways my first time at this particular Food Lion...I won't be back...the rudest people ever...and I did get overcharged but it is a lesson learned. Awful shopping experience...do yourself a favor. Drive to the Sylva store...great people. Awesome store...

I have a great shopping experience here. The aisles are tidy and the store is kept clean. I even found a few new items I have not seen in other grocery stores nearby. Very pleased!
