Delicious frozen custard. We personally love Frozen Custard, love the consistency. It's not ice cream, so don't go there expecting the same consistency.It's much more thick and smooth. All the flavors that we have tried are delicious. We have had the coffee, the lemon chiffon, key lime, vanilla, chocolate, and butter pecan. Today we enjoyed the key lime with the graham crackers. They rotate flavors so make sure to check Facebook to see what's coming up before you go. You can get waffle cones, old fashioned soft serve cones, and cups. Honestly this is some of the best food in Franklin. It's much better to get this than to get an $8 half gallon of ice cream at the grocery that has melted and been refrozen. We'll spend our money here, and let Ingles keep their refrozen ice cream.

Excellent experience. We pulled up with no wait, walked up to the window and ordered. We both got the peppermint-chocolate swirl (peppermint is a special flavor that isn’t always available). Both of us were impressed by the flavor, and even more impressed by the value. I ordered a large which would very easily be an extra large anywhere else while my spouse ordered a small which was the size I was expecting for my large. Both together with a topping on one of them…? -$9 which is ridiculous, I’m a good way! We’ve been looking for a solid place to get soft serve since our Dairy Queen closed years ago. This will be it.

So tasty! And very generous portions. If you've never had frozen custard then you should stop by and check it out! They have great flavors and a variety of toppings. I'm including a photo of my half-eaten Avalanche. I ordered a small... and it's huge!! It was filled to the top!

So all last summer and fall we loved stopping here for a treat. We had a punch card that we didn't use before they closed for the winter. The card has no expiration date. We stopped today, our first chance since getting back in town and we were told we could not use the card. Not a good way to treat loyal customers. Sadly we won't be back.

We got two pints to take home, great place to grab a cone with different mix in options, as well as pints to take home for a very reasonable price. No grainy textures as mentioned in prior reviews. Will be back again.

Drove an hour to Franklin just to get custard here this summer, it did not disappoint! Wish they had somewhere decent to park and eat though. Love that they have pup cups for my dog, too!

Wife and I stopped by to pick up an ice cream treat on a blisteringly hot afternoon! We both got cups because we figured we could enjoy it in the car without wearing it. Wife had the butterscotch which was flavor of the day. I had the vanilla/chocolate twist with Reeses Pieces tossed in. Both delicious choices. We took a quart of the Orange Dream home with us. All good stuff. Treat yourself to an afternoon ice cream break!

Let's just say I've filled a few punch cards here. Tasty and the featured flavor gives variety. Peppermint and coffee are my favs! Staff is ALWAYS nice. I appreciate the option for smaller portions, because my big toddler wants her own.

I would give them more stars if I could, this place has GREAT frozen custard and at times they have what is called a whip, these are my personal favorite no matter the flavor, if you put them in the freezer they will be like an Italian Ice. great. The owner is always very nice and helpful, you should give them a try ASAP.

Wife and I went by earlier today to check out the custard. We have years of experience making and serving ice cream products. Retired here in Franklin several years ago and noted with the closing of Dairy Queen that there was a need here for a good replacement. Two major flaws that will cause this business to struggle. First being they have invested in two Taylor soft serve machines modified for custard. Taylor has perhaps the worst record of dependability for an independent shop such as this. Taylor caters to the national chains and puts independents like these well meaning folks at the back of the line for service and parts. These Taylor machines represent a major portion of their investment and I can not offer any easy solution to resolve dependability. The second problem is their choice of batch used to make all of their products. Quality of batch is dependent on the amount of milk fats, flavorings and the sweeteners. The amount of milk fats needed is there, but artificial vanilla and sweetener is clearly evident leaving a very heavy aftertaste. Encourage them to sample other vendor's batch offering to replace what they are currently using keeping the above in mind. I understand that comes across as a very critical review, but I would rather have them succeed here than wonder why they cold not.

We love this place! We no longer have to drive an hour for custard! Love the flavors of the day! And the portions are huge! We have been by almost weekly(were almost through our 1st punch card) and will continue to visit regularly. Great staff and great custard!
