This campground, for our needs, checked off all the boxes. Literally 5 minutes of Interstate 95, yet no road noise. Very close to railroad tracks, yet no crossing guard or train whistle noise. Full hook up with 20, 30 and or 50 amp service. Sites are level side to side. Passport America with more than fare pricing. Great walking areas for our dog including pet poo stations and poo bags. Mom and Pop style campground which they are clearly in the process of updating. Absolutely would stay again.

My husband and I travel for work and stayed at this park for almost a month. The owners were very accommodating to us and we had no issues. We stayed at one of their padded lots with a fireplace and picnic table that was very nice and had a lot of room. There is alot of families in mobile homes in the park so it’s not just for RV’S but overall the park is clean and quiet. The host even had Christmas lights and a Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus for the children and fur babies. My husband and I found the active train tracks very nostalgic .The Wi-Fi is excellent Thank u for a nice stay.Nearby activities: Check out the old battlefield!

We are overnight in RV site 23. It's a long enough fairly level gravel pull thru site. We booked it using our Passport America discount. We have 50amp FHU and complementary wifi. The campground is close to many restaurants and reasonable priced fuel.Communication with staff has been excellent. We've had no issues at all and will try to book again when we are headed back north in March.

The area is beautiful. The park is sub par. If you enjoy sleeping on extremely uneven terrain, it may be for you. It is so unlevel that it does no good to even try.The chick in the office has attitude issues and isn't available most of the time. She attends RV shows out of town leaving the park unattended. Do not have mail sent. You won't get it for about a week after delivery. Would never stay here again. We were here for 1 month. Pay more to stay somewhere decent.

This is first and foremost a campground at best, not a resort. That is very misleading. Not bad for a night if you're driving thru. If you have the misfortune as we did of being put in the bottom row, you are about 50 feet away from the very active railroad tracks (day and night). You can feel the train you're that close. Not the most restful nights or days. The laundry was well over priced go into town instead.

The place is extremely run down and needs a lot of maintenance. Train tracks are so close that it felt like it went right through our camper. No amenities that we could see at all. My husband went to use the showers and restrooms at 8:00 p.m. at night and found them locked. Definitely not some place we would ever stay again. Even at the Passport America rate it was overpriced. $10 more than the pristine campground that we stayed at in Georgia.

Went to this campground for the first time on Friday, May 18th. It was rainy and wet, but they could not do anything about that. The campsites seemed a little tight, but we had enough room. The staff was pleasant and answered all of my questions, even though I called twice. The site manager told me twice, if there was anything I needed, just call her anytime. I thought that was above and beyond. The laundry was clean and machines worked well. The bathrooms were clean. I would definitely plan to stay again.I loved the flowers planted at each campsite. That was a nice touch.

I actually stayed here in November 2016 but am just getting around to writing a review now.I stayed here for just one night and was glad that was all. I'm not a sissy or a 'fraidy cat. I have traveled alone all over the world, but I have to say, as a woman traveling alone, it is the only place I ever felt like I needed to lock my trailer door when I was taking my dog for a walk even within view of my trailer. There aren't a lot of actual camping spots, most are occupied by full timers in both RVs and mobile homes. If people complain about their rigs being too old to get into some parks, this is place where they do not turn anyone away.It did make me feel better that a really nice RV was parked next to me in the overnight spots.I want to make it clear, I didn't actually encounter any problems, it was just a feeling.I also stayed mostly to the well lighted, large, grassy area in front of the motel when walking my dog. They do have cable, but the owner didn't want to give me a box because I was leaving in the morning and he said their office wouldn't be open for me to return it. I said that was okay with me, but it would seem that if you aren't getting full amenities you shouldn't pay full price. In any event, it was just a place to pull in and stay for the night and if I were going through the area again I understand there are other, nicer places nearby so I'd pick one of those if I go back through there.

A resort by definition is a place that is a popular destination frequented for a particular purpose, in this case the purpose is camping. Whether it be a over night stay to continue a trip or a few weeks, this campground is accommodating to your needs. Our stay lastnight was exactly what we were looking for, yes there are train tracks but its not horn blaring as it goes by. Mainly it is a great little campground right off of i95 that isn't a island resort but it is a campground resort for your camping endeavors!

This place should never be called a resort. The site is a parking spot amongst old broken down trailers. The water hook up is on the right and other hookups on the left. I could throw a stone to the busy road. No shade. $100 deposit for the device if you want cable. WiFi is supposed to be good but we didn’t stay long enough to try it. We never hooked up but I was told no refunds at all. I expected to pay the normal cancellation fee but no refunds under these circumstances is unacceptable.

I don't know how this place has a 2.8 rating. Small quiet park. Fastest internet then any park we have ever been at. Staff is friendly. I don't see a single flaw here. Nothing it's a great place to stay. They also had a spot for us last minute. It's in a doordash area if you do doordash. Would stay again. Their is a train that goes by but that doesn't bug us. Laundry is only 1.75. One of the cheapest we have seen.

I have stayed here 6 times in the last 3 years. It is a small family run camp ground with very good prices. You need to call to reserve your site to get the best price. This is a small family run cramp ground. There are always improvements being made. This started as a trailer park several years ago and the current owner has been changing over to a camp ground. There are a lot of campers here for extended stays, visiting family or temporary job assignments. This is typical of most campgrounds. If you are looking for a place with a pool or hot tub then there are other campgrounds near by. But if you need an inexpensive spot to park and hook up for a few days or more than this is your place. Plenty to do and see in the area.Again this is a family run business and the owner works a full time job so you need to be patient. If you expect someone to be at you beck and call go some where else. The owner will help you asap. When I checked in and setup my TW cable DTA box did not work (my fault). I sent him a message because it was getting late and it was not a big deal. He showed up with TW support on the phone in a few minutes. Your camping what is your hurry?Yes there is a train. But I like trains so it is not a problem. Plus there are not any crossings real close so unless there is something on the track you won't hear the whistle. I have stayed at camp grounds close to highways that made more noise than this train track. This campground is right on hwy 301. This is perfect for the bicyclist traveling north or south. With a great bicycle shop (All Out Bikes) a few miles down the road (right off 301).The tent area is an open spot with a picnic table and fire pit.Bottom line? I will be back next spring to see what is new and enjoy a restful weekend.

Not bad at all. Very friendly service. Seems family runned, which is nice being we have kids. Small but didn't bother me. Cheap laundry. Fastest internet I've had in a park and internet was free. 186mbs down like 15mbs up. Would definitely stop there again.

This place has limited camping sites for tents. The ground was covered in ant hills. We had the tenting area to ourselves. It was a tough night sleep as you could hear all the planes, trains, and automobiles nearby. Bring earplugs. The tent area is totally fenced in and has picnic tables and fire pits which is nice. There are two small bathrooms with showers within walking distance. There is also a small swing set for kids and an ice machine. It's bare basics here but there aren't many other tent camping places nearby.

I lived there for 7 months and my unemployment has stopped i has contacted veteran rep and filled out the paperwork they were going to pay for that months rent but the owners who are horrible horrible people, rude, mean and thieves. called in a tow truck and were going to pull my rv out of the park while i was still living in, the police were called and they were told to disconnected and if they wanted me out they had to take me to court to evict me which they did my friend came and offered to pay them he didn't have a credit or debit card on him but was willing to write a check they refused. The judge gave me two weeks to move my rv i was ok with that as i was moving out of nc to GA. they have put a mark on my credit report for 320.00 they will never see that money. and i have written a letter to AAA which i have been a member with for 14 years to let them know how dishonest, rude and how horrible the park its, being the train runs right behind the rv's and i mean like right on top of them every 40 minutes or so. The are prejudiced and they have one motel room they use for the campers to use as the shower and bathroom. i would never recommend that place to anyone resort my ass there is no pool, food in their 3 shelves be sure to check the expiration dates.

The bath house was in the end unit of the motel, with no curtain on the exterior window and a shower area that only a little person could fit in comfortably. The parking pads for the RVs left alot to be desired, too. They were right about the price, though.

I agree with Grayling. I've stayed there a couple times and if the guy is there then you can get service. But, if one of the women are in charge, you can almost forget it. I've stood and rang the bell at the office many, many times and they don't seem to want to help people there. One of the ladies was even standing in the parking lot talking to a friend and I walked by and stood there ringing the bell, 10 feet from her, and she saw me but did not even acknowledge me, just turned and kept talking. I assumed it wasn't her day to watch the store and went on my way because I didn't need that kind of attitude from people who we pay to be there for us when we need them. That was my last day at this place.Do like I did and go up the road an exit or two and pay the extra couple dollars a night for a nice place to stay. There's other options, no need to pay for nothing more than just a place to lay your head.

Campground is a small campground but has everything i needed during my stay. Bathrooms were very clean. They had free Halloween scary hay rides and their wifi was great. Had to pay a deposit forva cable box, but have had to do that at many campgrounds.

I agree they are dishonest. They don't answer the phone so you have to leave a message and they call you back. I made reservations (when they called back). 10 minutes later, I realized we were not going that direction and called back to cancel leaving a message. They sent no email to confirm a reservation. The next morning, I received an email of a no show and they charged $50 to my credit card.

My family and I have stayed here several times it is wonderful. The owners have become like family. We have used the RV hook ups and stayed in their rooms. Everything is always very clean and everyone is so friendly. Thank you for a wonderful experience as always.

Do not go to this run down trailer park called a resort !! She will charge your card without notifying you that there is a no show charge for reservations !! I’m down $100 and did not have the chance to be annoyed by the highway and the train tracks feet away

Not what it is described to be. Trashy everywhere. But they will tell you how you must be so neat and tidy. Poor customer service and very non-professional. The woman that works in the office is very, very rude. Has no tact in dealing with people.
