I always stop by the commissary to grab hot food or a cold cut. It has variety, and the customer service is always excellent. This one is a little smaller than the other, but it's still a great place to shop.

Purchased some 93% ground beef on 9/21/2023 and they hid BAD meat around good meat. See pictures. Customer service understood when I returned the very next morning for a refund and explanation. This is a practice I will be looking for now. Whomever is the meat person needs to be spoken to.

We love the meat guy that works on Saturdays they call him tbone. He really goes all out of his way to help us since we come a long way every month. He is one of the nicest people there. I am glad he was employee of the month. Definitely deserves a raise or award.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the commissary carries a decent selection of plant base & dairy free items. I can find my list in one place so I love it.

This store is well organized and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They noticed my milk was leaking and helped me replace it real quick. The big box meat deals are the best and are sold at an amazing price.

They have most of everything I am ever looking for. Their parking lot, though smaller than the south post commissary, is WAY smoother haha.

Check your Receipts the price will be one and when going to pay the price is different but once you let them know about the price difference they go and remove the price of the item.Price paper was gone soon has they tell them the price if different

I usually give good reviews, today is definitely different. I come here frequently and I have the same issues. When I need to use the restroom, it is always unkept, no tissue or paper, only one sink and always at least one bathroom out of order. It honestly reminds of driving down a road in the middle of no where and you are 😟 scared of the restroom 🚻 for fear of what you will find. I'm just not sure this should be this way! This is a government facility, it should be clean, well kept. They might try a mop and a broom throughout the rest of the facilities as well. Please come on Fort Liberty, go back to the days when I could feel proud to say I shop at the commissary. The little bit of money saved just feels not worth it. Help me after 40 years feel better about our Military community on post.

Able to get whole beef and pork roasts cut into steaks, whole tube of hamburger. Way more cost effective. No fresh herbs though. The gals that checked us out and bagged so nice and personable.

Got accused of stealing basically by one of the workers who are almost always rude to me and my wife hence why we rarely shop there anyway. On the rare occasion that we did shop here we got accused of not swiping an item at self checkout (embarrassing). This employee was apparently giving my wife a nasty stare with her friend prior to the accusation. I stepped aside and let her go through and see if we “missed” anything, we didn’t obviously and then she walked away no apology or anything. The prices are the only good thing here other than that employees will go out of their way to be rude to you. It’s happened to me multiple times shopping here. Thats my rant good prices but rude workers.

If you haven't heard, there has been a mandate to reduce prices by 20% and other should be coming soon. They also have VERY cheap meat prices. Just make sure to grab chicken at the right time to get the good packs. Also, One of the best kept secrets is the SUSHI BAR!

If you have access to base, then I would recommend buying all of your meat products here to save some money. Anything else, you can usually get cheaper at Walmart if you're ok buying their "great value" products.

I've seen larger selections and I've seen smaller. Pricing is just about average for a commissary. What I LOVE is that their special deals are grouped in one large area and they have the typical "sales section" in the first aisle. Especially in this economy where our grocery bills have multiplied by 200-300%, pay has not increased, and will only increase a little comparatively in 2023. Useful bargains all in one area is a blessing and time saver. Virtual high five to whoever is managing this place.

Love the commissary. It's usually cheaper than Food Lion and Walmart, especially their meat selection. But if you dont care about brand names, Walmarts "great value" brand is always cheaper. You can save about 10 cents on a cup of noodles to 60 cents on soups and half the price on chips.

Teach your staff to talk nicely to customers. The tall black lady with short haircut was yelling at me that I can't smell the product in front of other people. No respect to military families and spouses.Horrible experience... Never coming back.

You have to be careful on what you buy the meat expiration date is not very long but it has some good deals and if you don't want to go off base this is a good place to go to get groceries

This place really needs to train their butchers better. I have heard from several people that the knowledge base here is poor, but today I experienced it for myself. I had an exchange with a woman who was trying to sell angus as a grade of meat. Angus is a breed of cow, not a quality of meat. I tire of uneducated butchers who try to peddle choice grade Angus cow as some high quality meat.

Shopping was good. They is still some cleaning items that is not available. I just think the set up on some things could be better as dog food on one aisle and cat food on another. I think they both should be on the same aisle and then I wouldn't have to go down it. Some shelves have all kinds of things on them that is stocked in place on other aisles. This just doesn't make sense to me. I do all my shopping there and I'm thankful to have it.
