My family & I absolutely love this place. I went last week for the Key Lime Pie & I've been to this location twice & the Rutherfordton one, once this past week. This flavor is just perfect right now for me. It's fresh & vibrant! If you guys haven't visited this place, DO IT! They have all our old favorites like Butter Pecan, Peach, Rocky Road .... & they have new flavor combinations ready as well such as "Cookie Monster"..... Check them out, you won't regret it!

Enjoyed this experience! Cute "drive-in" ice cream shop! You have several ordering options! Online through scanning the QR code (either from your car in the parking spot or at the table under the breezeway), walk up, or I think there's an app (?) Plenty of Outdoor seating and there's a breezeway seating area!! I bought the (non-alcoholic) daiquiri sorbet and it was good and refreshing!

Separate order & pickup windows make it easy to not get crowded. New extra seating makes for ample space outside and in covered area. Delicious ice cream brownie- I couldn't eat it all! So many flavors to choose from.

Our family recently visited here for the first time.I was excited to see what gluten free/dairy free/sugar free options they had. I was a bit underwhelmed when I saw the menu though. The only gluten free/dairy free options are the sorbets, which is something I'm not always in the mood for. I ended up not getting anything.My husband got the sugar free butter pecan, and it was very good! They also had a sugar free vanilla ice cream.My kids had milkshakes, cones, and a brownie sundae. The servings are HUGE! You even get a scoop of ice cream on top of the milk shake!Even though it was crowded, we were able to find a table. The line moved fast, and we got our orders quickly.This is a great place to take the family for a sweet treat!*edited to add: see the owner's comment! There are more gluten free flavors than I thought. I was just told wrong.

Can’t say enough good things about this ice cream shop. We’ve been going a long time and have never had anything but a pleasant experience. You may have to wait a couple minutes (they’re pretty much always busy) but the staff still does a great job. I don’t think they’re as expensive as other ice cream parlors I’ve been to, they seem pretty competitively priced and the portions are huge. The parking is a little tricky, especially when they’re busy.

Our favorite ice cream place in the area. The staff is always super nice, the prices are incredible and the amount of ice cream you get is huge. They have a nice variety of flavors, and there's usually something great on the seasonal/rotating menu as well.

Who ever said this place is expensive is crazy! We paid $9 for two HUGE single scoop waffle cones. We paid $15 at the last place we went in spartanburg for the same thing! This place is really great. Hard to choose what flavor we wanted, I got the “Muddy Boots” — YUM! If I had anything negative to say I would just say they probably want to figure out more parking for the summer. Maybe ask their neighbor if they can use that lost for over flow parking when necessary 😂😂😂

If you are an ice cream lover and you have kids, you definitely have to try scoops ice cream in forest city nc! Are they have free cones for children if they are under a certain height I believe the flavors that they can get are Strawberry , Vanilla or Chocolate.If you love peanut butter and you love chocolate, you have to try the Cookie Monster flavor they offer!They also have a side area that you canget out of your vehicle and sit at to eat!The only downside to this delicious drive-in is that you can only indulge yourself throughout the spring and summer seasons!They are closed down for the cold seasons starting in the later part of September.

It was so good I had a vanilla ice cream with gummy bears and I’m so glad they had pup cups because my dog was giving me puppy eyes so my puppy got a dog ice cream with peanut butter drizzled on top with a treat.Thank y’all for your amazing service .love unknown and dog zulema.

I tried a sample of the cookie monster ice cream and it was pretty bad, not near enough sugar and the texture was all wrong. I decided on the moose track waffle cone without trying a sample. It had a good flavor but still very much lacked that ice cream sweetness. The waffle cones are still amazing, that was the only part that was. So disappointed as this use to be our favorite ice cream place. I hope the manufacturer machines that burned down are fixed soon.

Nice people and great ice cream. My wife and I shared a sundae. It was large and the best part was that we didn't run out of hot fudge. Dairy Queen sundaes always give so little hot fudge that halfway through, all of the fudge is gone. Our friends had a cone and a banana split. The split was huge.

Service was good and fast, but at 8:20pm on a Friday I went to use their restroom and it was locked. I asked the employees and was told that it was already cleaned and locked for the day. They do not close until 9pm but had already closed their restroom.Response: I went to the pick up window to ask about it being locked.

Went to the Forest City location and they didn’t have any chocolate syrup. As I was leaving I heard another customer being told they didn’t have syrup for the product that she’d ordered online. You’d think a place that specializes in ice cream would have chocolate syrup. If they ran out they could’ve easily got more at a store or something. Also this location is very slow. It takes longer to get served a milkshake from this place than the pizza place next door to make a pizza. If there’s two people in front of you in line you could easily be waiting over 10 minutes for service.***Edit in response to owner:I wasn’t intentionally being inaccurate in my review. I was simply told “we don’t have chocolate syrup” so I made the reasonable assumption that it meant they were out, but I do understand how it it could also mean you don’t carry it at all.BTW: I’d argue that it’s very fair to criticize a place for not providing the universally expected ingredients at a so called specialty icecream place.if I go to a steak house and they don’t have A1, I’m not going to be satisfied with my experience.Regardless, it’s so crazy that an ice cream place doesn’t have chocolate syrup. That’s like ice-cream 101. I’ll take my business to the many restaurants and other ice cream shops in town that have the basic accommodations that would be expected. It blows my mind that you don’t think it’s a reasonable ingredient to provide considering how common it is.Also: don’t trust the hours on google. This place will be dead closed at times even when they say it’s open as referenced by other reviews. Very unprofessional.

Scoop is the best I’ve cream we’ve had in a long time! Their waffle cones are really flavorful! They have a great selection of ice cream flavors to choose from. Chocolate peanut butter, butter pecan and chocolate are 3 off my favorites. Staff is friendly and sweet!

Love this cute little ice cream shop. They have a nice area to sit outside. Their single scoops are huge! Great value for your money. The bonus is that they are dog friendly. They made a little dish of vanilla ice cream, peanut butter sauce and a dog biscuit. Our Luna loved visiting!

So I had the sea salt caramel truffle. As far as it being ice cream it was good but in regards to the flavor. Well it was lacking the caramel and the salty flavor for me. Sea salt caramel is one of my favorite flavors and I have had it often enough to know the taste of caramel and sea salt was nonexistent in the cone I received on yesterday . I let my fiancé taste and he agreed. This was my first time going and even though my experience was not the best I will try again. My fiancé loved his sundae and that’s why I gave 3 stars. But I know not to try the sea salt caramel truffle again.

I have never been so disrespected in my life. I ordered a banana split to go and a large cup. The shift supervisor said that I could not buy a large cup. So I paid $5for a milkshake just to pour out so that I wouldn't get ice cream on my $90000 Mercedes. The shift supervisor should be fired for arguing with customers and disrespecting her elders. I will never eat there again and neither will any of my family. The girl has no manners and should not be running nothing at all. The other girl was just as nice as she could be. Typical when someone gets a little power or authority but it's I ly ice cream. She thinks she's Hiller or something

We love to head over here in the evenings once in a while to get some good ice cream and watch the cars go by on Broadway.(OK, I said "once in a while". That should probably read "too often for my waistline".)Anyway, they do an excellent job here, and take my advice if you like coffee ice cream at all: Carolina Mudslide. Do it.

Delicious ice cream!! Chunks of strawberries in my strawberry ice cream. Roger enjoyed butter pecan icr. Many, many flavors!Small outside covered and uncovered seating area. Friendly staff. Definitely stop by and try them out if you're close by!

Been going here for past 2 years. Frist time this year I felt lil disappointed. Idk if it's cuz prices gone up but gotten a smoothie for lunch and was little disappointed after paying almost 7$ an cup wasn't even completely full and felt like they was just as much whip cream in it as they was smoothie ( yes i asked for whip cream but felt like they more whip cream then smoothie and over powered the smoothie). Maybe next time be better. And it was almost 7$ cuz I left tip. But would still go back, no one in county can compete with their Banana splits or ice cream cones.
