Store is always super clean and tidy. Smelled so good when I walked through the doors too. Just smelled like the holidays 😍❤🎄

The employee at the makeup 💄 counter went above and beyond to help my son try to find the clothes he was looking for and apologized that they didn't have what he was wanting and tried to help him find any store that may have it.Thr lady at shoes where my son went the first time, barely even looked at him or spoke to him.

I gave this Belks location 4 stars and I feel like it probably deserved a lower score, but I’m trying to be less critical.I live in a county named Rutherford County and we do not have a lot of shopping malls or stores to choose from when it comes to clothing and shoes.Belks used to be the go to place if you wanted to get nice clothes and they are a little pricey, but sometimes they have really great sales and you would always have a fresh look.Now I can honestly say Belk’s in Forest City, do not keep up with the seasons, they do not have an array variety, or anything of clothing in my opinion. On top of that the sizes they have in stock seem to either have all small sizes or all plus sizes to choose from. Who ever orders the inventory every week should probably be given a different job to work.And usually only one register is open to checkout.So if you’re in a hurry and you get behind someone slow or loaded down with multiple items to buy you just have to wait and be late or put the clothes back on the racks and deal with the fact that you’ve wasted a-lot of time picking out clothes that you can they longer bad, because you’re going to be late and then come back another day for the same thing to possibly happen again.I know we are a small town, but we definitely need to pick it up Belks.

Nobody wants to wait on anybody not enough cashiers...went in Belks on 4/13/24 and they were people coming every where out of there way asking if I need help on anything felt good they got some great help now...

It's okay. I think that for women is a nice store to go to because they sell that type of clothing in other products. But I originally went with my daughter who is 14 to see if we could find a more formal dress for her to wear to homecoming. Unfortunately they didn't have anything available nothing beyond average everyday wear and the team selection in girls was not very much. There wasn't hardly anything to choose from.

The Forest City store is small and not very well put together. The Shelby store is much better. The manager Ellen introduced herself and was very friendly and professional. She was really helpful. Probably the best of any department store managers I've come across in my 60 some years We bought several things that weren't available in Forest City. They're prices and sales are great. They are what Kohls used to be. The Charlotte store in South Park mall is really, really nice. We recently retired in North Carolina from Chicago. We didn't have Belks around us so it's great to have a department store that has such great prices close by.

The staff acting like she didn't hear me talking to her. I'm the only customer in the section. The manager working is as always friendly. When time to pay, NO one seems to be available &/or No register that is open to take my business. Maybe, the company needs to give incentives/perks to make staff treat the company like they own the business.

They have nice clothes but we were looking for a button up shirt for my 13yr old. He’s still in boys and not mens. They didn’t have anything to fit him. I did get a nice shirt and so did my wife.

The products are good and you can get descent prices if you look for sales but the staff are rude, especially at the makeup counter. I stood in like behind one person for at least 8-10 minutes and the salesperson never spoke to me, at all. I ended up going to another register. Get friendlier employees and I may shop there again, as for now, I'll pass.

The store itself was fine, had sticker shock the whole time there, their pricing is pretty assinine, a pair of mens khakis $75, but 50% off if you enter the discount code after downloading their app, ridiculous to make customers ju.p through hoops for a decent price, decent!? I used to buy khakis at belk for $20 a pair ten years ago, now i have to go through contortions to get to the slashed price of $37.50!, just give us a forthright and decent price up front and stop with the games, please!

This little store has tons of items. Ladies in shoes are awesome hard workers! Good selection of clothes and shoes. They dont carry some of the higher end shoes like the bigger Belk stores but I always find something here.

I returned a gift that was the wrong size to exchange for the correct size. You would think that would be routine. But I had to pay the difference in the lowest ever sale price and today's price. In effect Belk sold the same item twice and they were quite happy about it.

Great customer service. I also came on the right day because I received free gifts with my purchase. I'll be buying all of my cologne from Belk from now on. It feels wonderful to be treated well.

They had a good sale. I found a nice shirt to wear to church. But I start feeling clostraphobic in there because it's so crowded. I do a quick check and go to shoes or leave so I can breathe. Am I the only one to experience this?

Horrible customer service. I refunded a item. Not only did they lie but took DAYS to refund my money. In 2020 do they actually believe it's ok to keep your money and your item? Money is time sensitive. Who loans money for free? I felt as if they just don't care about returning my money at all. I will not be shopping there anymore.

Was looking for toddler boy clothes. Very very very small selection. Also not a good selection of purses. Store was clean and I was greeted when I walked in. But i could not purchase what I intended to.

Used to be a great place to find housewares and men's clothing. But lately housewares has shrunk to a small Corner and men's clothing is nothing but for young people and all of their shirts are plaid. They've recently stopped doing gift wrap. They're usually understaffed. It's a pity. Used to be a great place in our County

First I must say that I love all Belks. I do most of my clothes shopping with this company. This store is a little small and crowded, but I can always find out what I am looking for. The sales staff are friendly and helpful.

Went shopping for shorts for my daughter's trip. They were already setting up clothes for fall and there were very few choices and lots of times only two or three sizes in a design. On top of that, there werent many trending clothes and the ones that were trending were all the same trend.

Comfortable selection, James can fit most people just by looking at them. However there are rarely people at registers so you'll be looking to checkout for a minute. Overall a good place to shop.

It was horrible, I needed a dress for a family photo shoot. No dresses were in the store, only sleevless ones. This is November Belks. I realize it is still warm weather but get real it is November. Will not be back looking for something to wear. Everything else in Forest City was closed so hoping to get it here, not happening.
