Smiley’s was recommended to me by a resident of Henersonville. I really enjoy flea markets, yard sales and second hand stores. So I went on Saturday morning of Mother’s Day weekend to check it out. I was really lucky to find a parking spot near the road. I walked around, but I was somewhat disappointed in the offerings of the vendors. There were very few vendors that grabbed my attention - a lot of what they had spread out seemed like leftovers from a garage sale. Some of the prices were a little high, which I get as they build in room for negotiating, but still. And many of the indoor shops and stores were closed and many outdoor tables were empty. Perhaps I didn’t time my visit right. It was a neat experience as there were a lot of people watching and listening to do, but I wouldn’t revisit Smiley’s if I were back in the area.

Love our Sunday at smileys. We usually take the grandkids and they love it as well. We always find good deals there. Wish they had wheel chairs. I was on crutches and couldn't walk around as much as I would have liked to.

Smileys Flea Market is great. A ton of venders with a large variety of items. Many different authentic Mexican dishes to try. The street corn in a cup and fresh fruits with chili powder are amazing.

Amazon bens. Mexican food. Clothes hats shoes. Snacks. Fruit juice. Even a place that looked like you could get tires or speakers. You need a phone case a couple places here have you covered.

A whole lot of mass produced plastic and clothing. I bought veggies and a skateboard deck. The flea was about a third full or two thirds empty depending on how you look at it. Some vendors had decent things but the value was not there. Others had straight garbage and wanted retail prices for broken and worn out items.

I only went to La Michoacana. It was so good. When I'm in the area I will be stopping again. Sopa de res and homemade corn tortillas.

It is a flea market, but one of the cooler ones I've been to. Reminded me of the ones in Texas and Mexico. Plenty of variety of vendors. Cotton candy machine and carousel were good cheap fun for my daughter. Lots of food vendors.

Flea market itself was ok but the parking lot traffic jam was terrible with noone to direct the flow.First and last time coming here!

Pretty desolate. Maybe it’s a summer thing? Went April 1 and there seemed Rob be hardly anyone there and none of the lights were on inside the building area. Honestly sketched us out a bit.

Lots of vendors. It's very crowded and hard to find parking at times. Some of the vendors are very overpriced. I like that it has several places to get food. It's a good flea market to kill time if you can stand the crowds.

You could get lost in here. Good mexican food. Nice vendors. It's a rough crowd sometimes but makes the experience worth it. 5 stars because to me it's like diving into a different world.

This place always has the same people setting up with the same stuff every weekend. Most of it is new pallet liquidation items.

This place was huge. They have a bumper car and a merry-go-round. The merry-go-round wasn't running due to staffing shortage but kids of all ages were riding the bumper cars and having a great time. They charge $1 per ride or 5 dollars for a weekend pass. There are outside and inside vendors that carry just about anything you would want to buy. Lots of fresh produce stands. Fun place to go and spend a few hours.

We drove along ways there and was very disappointed. Alot of vendors had same things for sale. Sand and dust going everywhere especially into the vendors food that wasn't covered up. We were there less than 30 mins. and then we left.

Shed booths that cost $$ are not maintained. Wasps, floors gone, and the roofs leak. Besides that when selling those areas see way, way fewer customers. Would give them less than a star if I could. Told we can repair the floor if we wanted to with our materials. Asked them three times to spray for the wasps and they came with a can in broad daylight and spray drifted onto our baby sale items. Last day of contract we moved to the garage sale tables and were told by the manager we would have to pay more money for their problem, we left. Will avoid this place in the future if they are this dishonest.

This place is an amazing place to look for deals on fresh produce and authentic Mexican food and used items. Ignore all the negative comments. Its called a flea market not a WalMart, so if your looking for brand spanken new stuff this might not be the place for you. From time to time there are things that are brand new or barely used. There are people from all backgrounds, not just Mexicans, as others claim and who are you to judge Somones legal status. The parking can get hectic at times but it usually because of the fact that everyone decides to come all at once and not to mention newcomers who don't know how things go. Overall a good friendly atmosphere, and some people there tend to be rude as you can tell from some of these reviews. Come check it out yourself

Loads of vendors selling everything from tools, dishes, shoes, cast iron cookware. Fruits, vegetables and lots of restaurants inside building serving many Mexican dishes.Home made soaps, oils for your diffusers in a very cozy and welcoming inside booth with a very friendly owner and maker of the soaps and oils, BATH BOMBS, LOTIONS and SCRUBS BY Mrs. DORIS BENNETT. ALL PRODUCTS ARE NATURAL HEALTHY. FRESH AND HOME MADE.She was very helpful with advise in my selections. When I am back in Asheville. I will certainly visit her welcoming and cool booth inside (a break from the heat).

It's the first time I set up to sell at Smiley's flea market. And as it turned out it was very cold in the morning and then windy later making it hard to pack up. Smiley's flea market is very clean and the people are pleasant.
