I was told to stop here from my sister and she was right. The baked goods looked amazing. I got a gluten free pizza. It was the potato but I subbed prosciutto instead of potatoes, yes nightshade allergy. It was delicious. Next time I’m buying all of the baked goods.Also, service was wonderful and friendly.Thank you!Will be back soon :)

Love, love this place. The salad and pizza is always what I get and they never disappoint. The wood-fire makes the pizza exceptionally tasty. I love the back deck as it's spacious and shady. I'll make a detour on a day trip just to go here. Their bread and pastries are also really good and a stop at the Wrinkled Egg next door is always fun - they have so many cool products from local artists!

Wonderful little place. VERY LIMITED Parking, so be prepared, but so worth it. The workers I encountered were so nice and cheery. The food is scrumptious. I ordered turkey avocado on sourdough ( a huge sandwich) and a half Italian on Ciabatta (massive size of a whole sandwich!) and a cream cheese brownie. This was a gift for my wonderful friend Christin, and she thoroughly enjoyed them. ( enough food for two meals and a snack 😋)The atmosphere is delightful. I love the huge trees at the outdoor seating and indoor seating (be quick to grab here), which is light and cozy.

Did lunch here on Mothers Day on our way back from Triple Falls. Food was outstanding as was service. The pizza crust is the real prize winner. Very thin with a charred taste like few others I have had. Red sauce is also excellent. It made for the perfect lunch on the patio. We will be back!Parking: Parking lot is very limited but additional parking is behind the bakery.

Me and a friend went here to meet up. It was my first time visiting, and it was a little packed, but the service was fast and faultless. The workers were very nice and made sure everything was taken care of. The food was delicious. I ordered a gluten-free pizza, and it was perfect. I even ate it for lunch the next day, and it still tasted just as good as it was fresh! This place is perfect for a quick lunch or dessert i would recommend! 😋

Got the hummus sandwich (vegan) and loved it! They always have wonderful food and a good atmosphere. Ate outside and enjoyed the sun. Would definitely recommend for food sandwiches in the Flat Rock Hendersonville area!

I make a point to drive way out of my way to stop at this bakery. The last 2x (within 2wk period) the workers have been very rude. The first time had to do with warming up a breakfast croissant, not a major issue, just the response and attitude the girl had. Today the girl with a one sided braid really embarrassed my husband and me. We are getting our drip coffees and holding our pastry bag and she loudly starts asking the cashier if we paid for the pastries. He didn't know what she was talking about so she comes over to us and says (in front of the whole long line) did you pay for those pastries?! What the heck??....did the boy give us coffee cups and not charge us, really? I told her yes as she looked at me skeptively. I should have said my bill was $17, I hope that included pastries and not just drip coffee! I don't think that I am going to go through the hazzle of coming here anymore. Too many other good and hopefully customer friendly shops to go to.

The food was good. I waited 20 min for a sandwich. The service was not friendly at all. Not sure if she was having a bad day. No smile, no greeting and annoyed that my gift card didn't work. After waiting for a while I finally asked another employee if my sandwich was finished. She pointed to the back door and some rack that my sandwich was sitting on. I explained no one had told me and she said this is how we do this. Just felt cold and unwelcoming.

Such a nice, cute little bakery and their pizza is amazing!! ✨😍🍕💁🏼🥤😋✨ I’m from New York and North Carolina is so not an Italian state lol So finding good pizza around here is so hard. They also have tons of goodies and baked goods to choose from:) Friendly staff and I always enjoy chatting with them when I come in:) Definitely give them a visit:) I highly recommend this place:)

I really enjoyed being here. It took 30 minutes to get our food and it was very good. The pizzas are thin but they tell you that. The best part was the gift shop inside. It was decorated and full or any gift or thing you could ever want. They have paintings and jewelry and toys and blankets and clothes and puzzles. It was beautiful and kept everyone busy. The service was great, parking was a bit difficult though and we had to park out back, and the prices were kinda expensive, but seeing that it’s a scenic area, I can understand their reasoning.

Came down to Flatrock to have brunch with a dear friend at her recommendation at the Village Bakery.Service was quick and food was delicious! Definitely a hidden gem!The Cardamom bun was AMAZING!

Cute little place. But the food was going have to be really good because the atmosphere was not. You order your food at the counter and they bring it to you. But then there are signs asking you to bus your table. That's fine but the food was average. My wife liked her Turkey & avocado sandwich. My chicken salad sandwich was sub par. I might give it another shot but I'll look for alternatives first.

This quaint bakery is situated directly on the main street running through Flat Rock. The parking can be difficult, but the food is worth a few extra steps. The staff is bubbly and professional, with warm invitation to enjoy excellent coffee and delicious food. Bagels, bread loaves, cookies, muffins, tarts and quiche are a few of the amazing in house pastries made to perfection.I had a cold brew coffee with a breakfast sandwich and sticky bun. The breakfast Sandwhich was an Asiago Pesto Bagel with bacon, havarti, scrambled eggs, tomato and avocado. This was perhaps the best breakfast Sandwhich I have ever had. The little room I had left I indulged in some of the sticky bun.Living in this area I am going to make the village bakery a staple to bring others. Thank you for the amazing food, coffee and spirit.

The food was wonderful. I had veggie chili and the bakery salad, which had English walnuts, cranberries, goat cheese and spring mix salad greens. I had never had a salad like this before and it was delicious. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the seating in the restaurant is awkward the way they have the tables. They are so close together that you feel like you are all at the same table.

This is such a quaint little bakery with loads of organic selections of the best food. Also it is adjacent to a beautiful gift shop with very unique gifts. Bakery also offers an outside Cafe with very warm atmosphere inside and out. There's nothing not to love about this place! 💓

My wife and I got married recently and our venue recommended Flat Rock Bakery to us for their wood fired pizza. We decided to go try some pizza before we decided on them and where blown away! Pizza was so good we decided to have them as a food vendor for our wedding and they did not disappoint! 10/10 would recommend
