They get self checkouts and refuse to open other lines. Customers checking out full baskets of groceries while the line waiting to check out grows down the aisle. It would be one thing if they were short staffed however I shop here frequently and There’s plenty of people working that run the registers just watching the customers Check themselves out.

Produce department not so good. Every package of strawberries I picked up had old and moldy strawberries in the container. Many fruits and vegetables were old and stale.

I am a fan of food lion. The prices are better than most places and the food is good quality. Definitely my go to and I have never had any issues of safety or anything even though it's not in the best part of town.

There was a store or general manager male who was present today. He was very kind and friendly to all customers. He put my groceries into my cart for me. He had on a red shirt, nice guy. Clean store. 5 stars

This store is just fine for a quick drop in to grab whatever you need. Not in the nicest neighborhood, but it isn't bad either. The one up on Ramsey St. by King's Grant is nicer if you're gonna spend all day shopping in there for a month's worth of groceries.

This is my local grocery store and I dislike going there. My cashier today didn’t separate my cold items like they are supposed to. Cashier wasn’t friendly. This has been the typical experience when I shop there.Most of the employees act like they don’t want to be there. Shelves are stocked well. Plenty of produce.Store is clean. Shopping there is not a pleasant experience for me,however it’s a mile from my home so it’s convenient. I have always shopped at Food Lion and had good experiences at other locations. I am loyal customer. This location needs management help. There is another grocery store in the area. I am checking them out on my next grocery trip.

I went in here to grab a few things we needed while camping. Manager on duty that Saturday afternoon went above and beyond in welcoming us and helping us out. We don't live in NC, but oh man I wish we the grocery stores I went to had managers like that. Just awesome.

Clean store and friendly staff. They keep it stocked the best they can due to supply chain issues and some times it's understaffed during peak hours, but that's a problem everywhere nowadays.

I was treated extremely rudely today by the cashier in the Express line about 3pm. She seemed quite friendly until she asked how I was doing. I've been sick recently and wasnt feeling good. Because it's a respiratory illness. My voice sounds extremely raspy and I cough sometimes. Immediately m, the cashier turns around and tells the manager she has to get off that register, right now! When the manager asked what happened, she went back and whispered something to her. After this she loudly asked another cashier to change registers with her. Everyone seemed confused. She threw my blueberries in a bag, and the package opened spilling them. After the transaction she loudly profess she had to turn the register light off, that she "just couldn't handled it anymore" I did linger by the door to see what the problem was. She grabbed a large handful of paper towels and started wiping down every once of the counter. She seemed fine before, and went totally rude in the middle of the encounter. If shes a germaphobe.... shes in the wrong career field. If shes bi-polar, maybe should consider a job on a farm with animals. But I was treated rudely. Not that it matters yo this store. They never respond. If I could give less than a star I would. So tired of being judged for having ASTHMA

The nice lady in deli fixed my potatoes wedges. I am visiting from Kernersville NC. Everyone was very polite. I love our Food Lion. As a senior I am always treated very well as a customer. I hope she will be rewarded for her courtesy to a total stranger today.

This food Lion is a great location especially if you're looking for cheaper prices on meats. me and my group of friends have tested out and we found that this is by far the cheapest food Lion in Fayetteville to buy ground meat steaks and other options. if you get a chance to produce section is also really good in this food Lion I highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for lower prices but the same quality of food.

We need assistance at the last minute getting some helium for some balloons for an event at the health department. Mr. Dwayne, the manager was so friendly and helpful in assisting us in getting our balloons blown up at short notice. Thanks for your kind service in making our event a success.
