Animal taken by LEOs; They have no idea what they're selling and take no responsibility aside from a forced refund. Owner was extremely unhelpful and blamed others. Owner says money spent on animal is not his problem despite lying about species and explaining he has no idea what any are and just takes peoples word. Avoid like the plague.

This is a great little farm store that I've used for my flocks feed and recently purchased my 3 favorite fluffy butts as babies from them. They are reasonably priced with very friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing but good things to say about this farm store, always friendly, helpful have been coming here for over a year to buy feed for our animals or increase our flocks. Definitely recommend if you are looking for great customer service and quality attention and products🙌

They are still getting set up after having to move, but they have all of the basics that you need for your farm and domestic animals. Plus they have parakeets, rabbits and guinea pigs

Live animals are being kept in cages caked up with layers upon layers of filth. You will come home with a sick animal.False advertising?Came to pick up a cockatiel and was told he was not for sale, despite being kept with the others and not in the dedicated “not for sale” area they have for birds.Told employee he doesn’t have any toys (nor do any of the other parrots, being housed in barren cages, improper husbandry and borderline cruelty) and he seemed confused. This is common knowledge in the parrot parent world, but I guess I am expecting too much from a farm store in rural NC.

Rusty and his employees are very kind hearted. They helped us when our needs for adult chickens were needed. We're hoping to get a Rooster today there, as our white, passed away and our hens are in need of another male.Update: 3 days after getting a Rooster from them, the rooster was found dead, we don't know why. Will not buy anymore for now. Pic is the rooster we had just bought 3 days prior.

The staff is super friendly. I got a great deal on a bale of straw for my chickens. They have everything you need for your animals and they have many animals for sale. It's almost like a mini zoo and is literally fun to shop there. It's worth the ride into the country.

I would have loved to give this place 5 stars but I just cannot… I’ve been twice. The first time I went because I was new to the area and wanted to expand my chicken flock. I went in and was asking what type of chicken breeds they get and how often. The man there was very helpful and glad to answer my questions… the woman was very cranky. I just ignored it and thought she was having a bad day(we all have those days). The second time I went there was a dead chick in with the live ones(sadly this happens and is no one’s fault) my 10 year old was really bothered by it so she told the same woman we saw last time and the woman just shrugged her shoulders at my daughter. Well we went out back to check out the goats and there was a Dove(?) in the back sitting in a nasty bowl of green water with its neck ripped open. One of the men who works there came back and saw it and just ignored the situation even when we pointed it out to him. We went back inside and my mom found Diamond dog food that she normally orders online and asked the woman how much they sell it for. Well my mom didn’t hear her the first time so she asked “Did you say $30.99?” And the lady(same as last time) loudly and rudely told her the correct price. I want to love this place and I love to support local businesses but I am HIGHLY disappointed in the treatment of their animals and how the woman treats customers.

I came their to get a couple of chicken's to add to flock and I payed a arm and leg for six chickens that were very young to be 15 each and I was fine with that until I realized that they have lied to me and said that they were hens and I realized that only one out of six was a pullet and the rest were all cockerels and you can tell by the red combs and wattles if you are looking to get chickens I wouldn't recommend this stor unless you are willing to take the risk

Bought 3 young pullets from here a little over a week ago and 3 days later one died. We already had 1 adult hen and 1 adult rooster and we’re just looking to add to our flock and fast forward to today our hen and rooster are now both dead and the others sick.

The lady upfront told my son that the reason they are called "family" farm store is because everyone should feel like family when they come in. I thought that was the cutest thing and absolutely true. I loved stopping in their old location and checking out all their animals and picking up chicks from time to time or rabbits. Their new location seems a lot bigger so I can't wait to see what all they have to offer as they get everything going. They are so sweet and didn't mind my kids asking a million questions or walking back and forth over and over to see all the animals. I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for animals or feed!

Good local store for me picking up my farm animal feed. Don't expect a glorious clean atmosphere, but it is everything that you need to include some livestock in the building. Prices are definitely competitive to larger stores and I tend to go here more often because it's just closer

Use to love this place. They’ve removed the old employees after new ownership and hiked up the prices to Absurd amounts . The one employee there couldn’t even keep up with the customers . Wish them luck but I myself Found a much better location for our needs.

I been dealing with Ray for 30 yrs. Service has always been very friendly. However. The price of pigeons was wayyyyy outta norm... I ve raised pigeons for 50 years. Ive never seen a commom bird worth 50. Bucks. Just a plain white bird.
