I've went to the family dollar on ramsey a few times during business hours and they were closed, with the door locked from the outside lock. Like the employee just left the property and all of the lights were on. Several customers were waiting outside the door and no one ever came.

How rude , lazy, inconsistent, and poor must one act to make themselves feel better for having no better people skills... Funny how the higher up never have an attitude, but the bottom of the barrel does. Family dollar on Ramsey street by the seafood place. that girl in the front needs to leave the cashier area and keep stocking bc she has no clue how to speak to a happy human that is in a good mood unlike her. she could have just helped me with what I asked instead of telling me no she was too busy to accommodate me. Let a young lady that deserves the job not a full grown woman trying to act tough towards women for asking extremely simple tasks.

I walked in the store manager talking loud and sounding unprofessional on the phone so I get to the counter she still talking on phone in business if you're a manager you should no how to talk also multitask so after waiting 10 minutes another employee came and checked me out moral of the story find some more staff

Don't make no sense for noone to call me in making it seem like I got a job and they're going do my stuff in the computer then tell you when you go back I'll do it after the holidays either I have it or I don't just sayin make it make sense .....SMH

I'm never going back to any family dollar b/c a worker today at 2:15pm was being very nasty to me for no reason because I wanted 10.00$ Cash back after right before I can finish the purchase and after the purchase. Family Dollar just lost a customer!

Store manager was extremely loud speaking while she talked down to several employees..the whole store was complaining.. Trying to walk in the front door and she was yelling at them in front of us and had to go around her.. my heart broke how she unprofessionally spoke to several employees.. we told one employee to hang in and don’t break and quit

Make sure you check and double check sale ads. Right below the sign for the deal on "buy one SET get one free"was 2 shirts on double hanger with a sticker that read "set of 2". Of course that did not qualify. And when I showed the mgr the sign was right below the row of shirt sets...all I got was a "no only for pants and shirt set" sign says NOTHING about specific sets! She did not even attempt to remove or move sign and just told cashier that it only applies to pants shirt set

Staff was super nice. The store is very unorganized. It took me literally 30 mins of looking(my fault) and then finally asked someone where the light bulbs are. Just seems like the store never gets recovered. ( straightened) which in retail should be done if not twice daily then every night. I have been in management of retail for a long time and if I was the district manager I would have a stroke and they would too if they had a pop up visit from corporate. Phew

Not the cleanest Family Dollar I have been too! The cashier was not very welcoming! But the place is close to my home and has great offers! They also take EBT. So great for people on a budget or on benefits! They sell a good variety of food items and decorative items for your home!

The good thing about this business chain is they are laid out almost identically from store to store. This makes it easy to find items. The annoying business practice at this particular store is you cannot use the restroom unless you buy something. I can understand if using the restroom was my only intention, but the inconvenience comes having to buy your products and then loading them into your automobile, before using the restroom.

Went to family dollar on Ramsey street next to the post office this morning around 10am, 7/12/18. As i pulled up to park the employee/cashier was standing in the door holding it partially open. I got out of my vehicle. she smiled and i did also, but upon entering she asked would i be shopping long. I said no and proceeded to look around for the item i was looking for. She asked what it was i wanted and i told her head phones with a volume control on them. She then led me an isle where there were head phones and said these have volume control on them. I looked at several but none had a volume control on them. I went to another area and found them and explained the difference. I then paid for the items i purchased after which I told here that i wanted them bagged. She looked ant me funny and said do you really need a bag. Isaid yes bag them after which i left.

Not friendly at all. Walked in, his girl looked at me and didn’t even greet. I go pay for my stuff and she still didn’t even say a word to me. So I ask her how she’s doing and she had to force herself to mumble a “good”. Didn’t even look at me in the face. So rude.
