me and my wife order delivery. Our driver goes to tell us they almost couldn’t deliver a few items because the store employee refused to help find them until one employee did. Long story short we were told that the employees wasn’t supposed to help the drivers find items if they couldn’t find it because they don’t get paid enough. So basically we spend our hard earned money at These stores to get denied. We were told the district manger was the one that told them not to help to find out products. Okay how about me and my family and friends made a decision today not to ever shop at a dollar general again.

My visit was early morning, so the store was not busy. You could tell need inventory had arrived by the bins in the isle. However I was still able to maneuver around the store. The cashier was friendly and I was able to find what I needed on this visit.

It truly depends on the day. I've gone a few times about 5:30 pm & they were closed for the day. My most recent visit staff was not friendly..at all...some clutter (could have been cleaner)...not busy, but the cashier despite being at the register already suggested I use the self-check out (which I despise)...(a moderate amount of items..filled the carrying basket). Once I said "No thank you ", he pretty much stopped looking/talking to me. I completed the survey & requested that someone contact me. The GM called almost immediately. I was very surprised but pleased. He seemed aware of staffing turnover & said he would look into it. Told me to keep his number & to call him directly with further issues.

The absolute worst DG I've ever seen. It is disorganized, they will be closed at random times throughout the day, and it's dirty af most of the time.

This store is the worse store in america. I first said the people were nice but I completely take that back. This store is unorganized. At this point they need to fire everyone and shut it down. What was the point of this store getting a new manager if they cant or dont know how to run the store.

I've shopped here several times and enjoy the variety and prices. I went arrived there at 6:45pm tonight to find them closed. If you aren't going to honor your hours and be open until 9pm, change your hours. If this store wasn't supposed to be closed, someone needs to look into this and stop it from becoming a habit.

This store is a mess. Everything is all over the place, the isles are so small and there is stuff cluttered everywhere, I didn’t even get anything my anxiety and OCD was through the roof!

This place is under new management. I use to work there..Not a place to work their wages are really low. Too low for all the drama they create. The place is messy, nasty with roaches and they never have things were they belong. The managers are extremely rude to their customers. Especially, their senior citizens. Not helpful at all and the lines are usually always long. Due to poor customer service and lazy people. This use to be my local store. Before, this new staff. Not anymore after working there. Now, I would rather travel to another store close by me. The prices are great tho. That is if it's the right price. 9-10 it's usually not in its correct place. So, more likely it's not what it says. Which, makes it difficult to shop. So, if you shop there GOOD LUCK.

Friendly and helpful staff. I bought the wrong item and the store clerk was helpful to do an exchange. The store does feel small for all the items they carry but that also adds to the charm of feeling like you are on a treasure hunt. There are many neat and sometimes novel items at low prices.

I just tried to make a purchase at this store. The self checkout wouldn’t allow me to put in my pin. I pushed the button for help, the lady at the register ignored me so I asked the man working if he could assist. He flipped the monitor around looked at it and then he flipped it back around and walked away. He proceeded to go in the back and break down boxes. I put the item back on the shelf and walked out. I will never go back in that store again.

Store randomly closes in the middle of the day or just doesn't even open ever is running Dollar general in Fayetteville needs to address this store it's ridiculous half the time it's open half the time it's closed but yet your website says it's open right now I just went to the door it's closed.

Very poor layout, extremely difficult to shop due boxes and restocking products in EVERY aisle throughout the entire store. Schematics doesn't make sense you are forced to scrounge the whole store for a few items. Employees were pleasant

The employees are nice but the aisles are crowded due to product just chilling in the way. My digital coupons never work at this location for some reason.

Parking lot needs cleaning. Had oil bottles, windshield wiper and other debris all over the parking area. They items I bought on clearance.. None scanned for the right price. Had to what for a manager to come fix it even after I caught it on the first item when scanned. I did purchase a furniture item which is on the cheap side (made), but looks nice! Cashier was awesome!

The store is great but some of the staff are lazy and simple minded. Always cluttered, never enough staff. Bought an item at regular price that was damaged and fixed, it was advertised as containing 50 in the box but once opend only contained 30. To me, it should have been half off. Didn't have time to return so just kept it. So no one is actually inspecting items before fixing, restocking, and resaling?

Extremely busy, pretty much from open to close. The store is jam-packed with everything from home goods to car accessories to baby care. Generally clean, and great deals around almost every corner. Parking is decent, but picking the one on the corner leads to getting bumped occasionally. I recommend this store. And as always, customer service could be sharpened up a bit. If a person hates their job, then quit.

I purchased laundry detergent (arm and Hammer) and other items. I realize when I got home that I forgot my laundry detergent. I called the store and asked if I left it there mistakenly?, she stated “YES”. My husband arrived to the store, the cashier explained to him that I didn’t purchase the detergent because I didn’t have enough money. He explained to her that I just called the store. I spoke with the manager and was very rude, he stated that he would review the cameras but never got back in contact with me.Bad business

Dollar General is a great place to shop because the people that work there are very friendly and goes out of their way to please their customers.I also like the place itself because it has all of the merchandise that any family needs to survive. The managers are doing an excellent job trading the employees who work for him and the Fayetteville community.It. is also a fun place to be..

All around, I love this store, I'm here a few times a week. I don't usually get food items from here but when I don't feel like going into a bigger store I might grab a few snack foods, and I have to stop, because I usually end up with old, expired food. Just this past Saturday (03/18/17)I brought Pop tarts from here, because I didn't want to go to food lion, these things (the pop tarts) expired last month (02/09/2017) If you get food from here, check the dates ppl or you'll end up wasting money.

They get their deliveries right in the middle of everyday services this causes a lot of Confusion, backed up lines and a manager who has bad customer service. The manager is very rude and very short literally. He never smiles and never seems to enjoy his job

Very crowded with merchandise every where. Every time I have gone it has been a mess and there is stock just laying around. Prices were good, but staff did not have any store pride or act like they wanted to be there. I did not want to look around or browse because of the messy state of the store.

I went to the one on Helen street the other day March 2020. I went to buy store brand Dr Topper and there was none on the shelf. I asked the manager if he could check in the back. He told me no he doesn’t have time, he doesn’t know if there is any back there or not. He told me I would just have to come back . Well I was the only person in the store so I felt like that is just rude. I told him I guess I would just go somewhere else. Worst service

Its a lady with tattoos all over her arms. She was slamming bags slamming people stuff just such a nasty attitude. I have been there plenty of times never meet a person so mean and nasty

It's a Dollar General.. friendly employees and is usually pretty clean and well stocked. We visit this location often since it's around the corner from our home.. will of course be back!

they need to get the store organized other than that they are ok it's just always messy and boxes are always in the Iles and it makes it hard to find anything or push your cart
