**Granted I should have checked myself, but usually not an issue.**Today I bought a gallon of milk, two days expired. Kid behind the counter said nothing, and I think the manager might have been on the phone (?). I KNOW, check the label, but usually it's more like they don't have ANY, versus having expired milk, and not pulling off the shelves. There are coolers in the back....SMH

What a DUMP!!! upon entering I had to make my way around a car playing loud rap music at the front door and blocking handicap spots. The store is a disaster and looks like a bomb went off in there. Can't even get down the isle. Employees are rude and just don't care. STAY AWAY!

This store has what you need with prices you can afford. The manager Kim is not afraid of hard work. The store was very busy and the employees were friendly. A new cashier Danielle was doing a great job. They had clearance items and even offer discounts on future visits. You save your receipts and get money off of future visit. Dollar General is a great place to buy cleaning supplies and snacks.

One star!!!!!! When me and my boyfriend was there around 2 or 3pm. They’re unprofessional. This one big girl I don’t know her name complaining about how much tissue we have. I don’t have time for attitudes.

This is not our first time here....so our experience was kind of odd and rude! Like every other visit we would walk in, place our empty reusable shopping bags in the cart and start shopping. We walked right by the registers. We began shopping. Almost through with first isle of store, we then encountered a family of shoppers who were blocking the soda isle and the second isle. We could not move that way. After heading back down isle one to get to other side if the isle two, where the family was hunched tight together, smelling like they smoked way too many cigarettes, still blocking the whole isle, we then got approached by a young female cashier asking us to leave our empty shopping bags with her! We both said, "No. There is nothing in them". Remember the whole four group of family still hunched together blocking the isle. She NEVER asked them why they were doing what they were doing. Just harassed us. The group of people were white country talking people. I am white with a black man and she treated us like we were stealing or going to steal. We have never taken a thing and don't plan on it. If she was scared of someone stealing with reusable shopping bags, then she might want to rethink her ways! Maybe ask the family that was hunched together, still blocking same isle for over 15 minutes, what they were doing! She only asked us. After getting to counter to pay for our stuff, then the other young female cashier then bagged our $50+ worth of groceries and other household goods in plastic after seeing we had bags already and placed heavy cans in bags with soft chips and soup and smashed them. Then placed cleaning stuff right along with food products. I worked as a cashier for many years and would NEVER do these things. Trained well by bigger named brand Stores, I was trained to not damage customer's purchases. This store needs better training. Don't harass a couple about empty reusable shopping bags and make them feel this was racially motivated, when a whole family was stealing on isle two and most likely many more (as we did not follow them and do the cashiers nor securities job)! Also the isles in this store are way too small. You cannot get two carts down them and barely get two people down an isle if they have displays up and down isles. Teach the employees not to bag soft items with can goods and don't put chemical cleaning products with food. When we stay at the hotel again near this store, we will opt to take a bus in town and go to another store where we don't feel we are being harassed for being a couple who is racially mixed. Treat people fairly and watch who truly is stealing as it was very easy and clear to see who was. Thank you!

This has been my local DG for over a year. It's never had a working restroom. Either they're lying about it or just don't care enough about they're customers have a place to relieve themselves.

This location closes at 10 pm, I came here the other night at 9:25pm and found the doors locked. I called and asked for the closing time and why the store was closed. I was informed 10pm is the correct closing time but for some particular reason that day they decided to close early. Yes you read right. Since it wasn’t a holiday I asked why did the store close early tonight. I heard the employee ask someone else for a response and stammered one over the phone. I knew she was lying. I said there were other customers pulling up, were they going to turn everyone away...I got the same lie about it being closed. It seems like the two employees (that I saw) wanted to close up early so they could leave early. I watched other potential customers come up to the locker doors and get turned away. And I have videos and locution prove it. I counted 7 cars while I was there and there were more pulling in as I left. SMDH. That was money and a profit for the store that EMPLOYEES turned away. Never seen this before and this was my first day in NC. Ghetto.

Would give 4 stars maybe 5 but they allow druggies to bother customers for money inside and outside the store. Better off to go to the other dg down the road, they don't allow you to get harassed when shopping.

A female employee was fussing to a different younger male employee about how another employee hadn't shown up. It was time for the male employee to leave. His ride was there. The woman finally called the employee that was not on time and ask her if she forgot she needed to be there. the employee said no that she had called and spoken to a different I guess manager and told her that she would be coming in approximately an hour late for a shift. I guess that managers had already been there today and didn't tell anyone and just hurried up and got out. The young man was asking what he should do because his ride was there the female employee told him that if he needed to go for him to go and that she would just lock the doors and make the customers get out until the other day got there. He said he didn't want to do that to the customers. The fussing female employee went on and on about how he should call in tomorrow and about how he should only work nights on the weekend so he wouldn't be stuck covering everyone else's shift. I guess the employee that was late is chronically late. The female employee said to me that's why you don't hire family. the male employee told her that he was not going to do that because that was just Petty LOL. Some 20 year old employee telling that to some probably 50 or 60 year old employee LOL. It was like a mini episode of Jerry Springer. Bottom line the customers don't need to know the employee drama.....Gotta love Dollar Drama!

Nothing is $1 can't find what I'm looking for needed bathing suit for swimming. I ended up buying girl shorts i was truly hoping they don't think i was gay. It really doesn't look good on a guy even though it was basic shaped short. It makes girls look hella hot but looks bad on me lol it was a whole $3.50 cause it was hall of Tuesday or Wednesday or i pay $7 for girl short i never wore or gift. 👙🤽‍♀️⛱🏃‍♂️boxers for life

The cleanest Dollar General in 4 states that I've visited, it is the most organized store I've ever seen. Customer service at its best.
