Just moved to North Carolina and was so blessed to find a great groomer for my manny baby. They were rental with him and he came out looking as handsome as ever! Their prices are reasonable and we are excited to bring him back. They were also ok with me waiting there for them to finish his grooming and as a helicopter dog mom that was really nice.

Prices are going up all over town, heck, it’s actually going up all over the country. Most businesses, small and large both have the courtesy of letting everyone know ahead of time that prices are going up especially ones that are service based.I brought both dogs into the groomers today and they’ve got all new faces. No signs for increased prices and no warnings. It would have been nice to have been told BEFORE they took my dog to the back and completed these services and then charged me $50 over the original price. Didn’t receive a receipt and nothing was itemized for price. There were no added taxes either. Now I’m obligated to pay this because they’ve completed the job. This use to be the number one spot in all of Fayetteville.Prices go up. So what? It happens. Just don’t lead customers on so you can trap them. I had to request my dog go back to the back again because her ears weren’t fully cleaned. You’re telling me that’s worth $75?! Tell your customers up front that prices have increased or have a sign. Wonder if the city knows about this. Time to find a new groomer in town n I’d happily pay what’s listed.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They lost our business before they had a chance to earn it. We booked an online appointment a few days in advance for a wash - the website showed open availability for the whole day. The morning of the appointment we received an email stating the appointment has been cancelled due to no availability - no call, no attempt to reschedule, just a boilerplate email. Very disappointed as we are new to the area, this location is close to our home, and our pup would have been a very regular, repeat client.

They were absolutely amazing! My baby looks soooo handsome. She gave me details on what she would do and she got it done. They definitely have a new regular customer. I will be recommending ALL of my doggy parents!UPDATE: Another great experience. Took my babies and my mother in laws puppy and all 3 of them got top notch treatment. She done an awesome job on all of them!!

It was the 1st time that I had tried Bark Avenue Professional Pet Groom facility. They did a wonderful job on my little doggy pumpkin. They charged an extra fee to paint her tail and ears. Whereas the other facility doesn't charge a fee to do the dying/coloring.

Not only did they tell me to come earlier than I scheduled for him to come but they actually had him waiting from 11am till 3pm and he wasn’t ready till almost five! The girl who did him kaitllin Armitage really did us and our baby wrong by not telling us what had happened to him while under her care! Our poor baby was bleeding a lot when he got home and i didn’t know until one of my kids yelled coopers bleeding! It’s better today since I put some ointment on it but yesterday was really scary!! And on top of that we had to pay full price for his grooming!. I’m really sad to say I won’t be coming here again.

I took my yorkie here, this is my 2nd time actually ( the first time was not this bad of experience that’s why I gave them 2 stars ) I asked for the picture!!! I don’t know what they did!!! On top of his bad haircut, he was there for 7 hours! No phone call to know if my Choppa was okay or anything! When I talked to a “ manager “ only thing she had to say was “ I had an older dog. “ WHERE MY UPDATE?! I don’t have a car so I’m calling every hour because my friend was ready to go, waiting for me to say Choppa was ready. I’ll never go back.

Both ladies were sweet to me and my dog. They asked questions to be sure they knew exactly what I was expecting, including showing me the shortness of the hair by guard size. Communication was great too, with them giving me a call 10 minutes before she was done to give me time to get there to pick her up. Very nice experience!

I needed a last minute bath for my girl Starr, before her vet appointment, and they got me right in and bathed her and made her look special for her appointment. She is 16 years old, a Border Collie, and she has to be treated very carefully. I've never been disappointed with their work. Thank you for getting her done so fast. She usually gets to hang around awhile and air dry before they do her final blow out so as not to stress her. But she was done as I asked, and I really appreciate them being there for us. I would recommend them.

Zadie is a very sweet and friendly person. She is a great groomer. She always asks how I want my pets groomed. She loves dogs, you can tell. James and Mikela are nice and very helpful too. The business is clean and I'm always able to get an appointment at a good time. I feel good leaving my pets in their hands.

Bark Avenue is hands down the best place to take your dog to get groomed in fayetteville. I love this place and they always remember my dogs and treat them wonderfully. Zadie is an amazing representation of this place she is the best.

If you are interested in a business, that does not follow instructions, this is a place for you! I took my fur baby here on November 22, 2022. When I arrived, they knew my puppies name and greeted us, the groomer with a Spanish accent acknowledged that he was cut too short on the last visit, she went to the back and got some clipper combs so I would agree to the length. I explained that I simply wanted to, leave his length, trim around his face, his bottom, clean his ears, and trim his nails. They understood, and I left my dog in their care and assuming that they would follow instructions as provided! I was persistent about providing instruction because I had already had a mishap at this location. Only reason I went back is because the location is super convenient, and the last time the ladies were very apologetic about trimming him down too short. When I went to pick my puppy up, he was trimmed extremely close to his body, and he was very fidgety as if somebody had hurt him. He’s a very small 6 pound, Yorkiepoo puppy. I called back this morning to speak to the owner of the store, I was told that the owner was not available. So I begin my conversation with the manager and explained my disappointment yet for a second time. After I finish, explaining what happened, the first thing that came from the manager was “I review the security tapes and you’re not telling the whole truth.” I was told that the story I was giving was incorrect, so I gently jumped in my car and headed to that business, because I’m not gonna have a manager speak to me as if I’m lying. Miraculously the owner was there when I showed up 6 minutes after hung the phone up. I urge anyone that is detailed about their instructions for their fur babies, not visit this location because they don’t take instruction from the paying customers! Horrible service! Terrible staff! Owner you need to hire qualified staff!

What a sweet and talented group :) these people truly care about your dog and treat them wonderfully. the services they provide are extensive and priced comparable to others, but not overly expensive. the only reason i gave 4 stars was because it is sometimes difficult to have someone answer the phone.

My dog has been here a few times. He always gets a bath and deshedded. Everything has always been good until his last appointment on April 26th. I noticed a couple days after the appointment that he was shedding extremely bad, just as bad as he was before the appointment. It seemed as if he was never deshedded. I tried giving it the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it was just some excess hair and that brushing his fur out really good would help. But it didn't. I called to address my concerns with the receptionist. Only for her to tell me "Chris did the best he could and that they can only deshed but so much". I was confused because I didn't book with Chris, I booked with Nadja, and wasn't made aware of the change prior to his appointment. But never the less, I advised her that my dog is 11 years old I've never had this problem with any other groomer when getting him deshedded. So I feel that he wasn't thoroughly/properly deshedded and I wasn't happy. I even offered to send her pics of the fur all around the house, but she didn't respond. I let her know that I may not be returning, she didn't act concerned at all, gave no apology or even try to accommodate me for the unsatisfactory work. Customer retention should always be a priority and the receptionist being the first point of contact need to be trained that way.

I'm amending my review because it seems the staff/owners, something has changed! I've been back twice since my first review and have decided I don't want to go back. My husband just received a service dog, Josh. Very highly trained dog. We do everything to Josh... Brush his teeth, cut nails, brush... He's NO trouble at all. Health reason... Couldn't bathe.... Took him in. Previous review below was when I took the bulldog in. 😂 If they can handle him, it would be like Josh groomed himself. So my husband took Josh in. He was very specific about the fact Josh just needed a bath and deshed. She showed him a whiteboard behind her and said these services are all included in the price. Doesn't matter he told her, and noticed flea meds on the list. He had given Josh his just that very morning so he empathically said no! Just bathe and deshed. That's all we'd EVER had done on any of our dogs there, no problems. He said there was a definite language barrier. They have always accommodated Spanish speakers and I never had a problem until today. He picked up Josh and the groomer commented that Josh loves to have his teeth brushed and was SO good about everything. Even tho he was specific about the services we did not want, he didn't say anything thinking it wasn't a big deal. Short version... Josh was sick for a week after the visit. The vet said it was probably a double dose of the flea meds as that was in the back of our minds since they ignored everything else. No proof of course so we let it go. They have walk in nails so I took him a few weeks later. Different people again! Nails were great so ok. I took Josh in for the second time less than a week after the nails - for bath and deshed only, as they had JUST done his feet. On pick up I went to pay and they charged me the same price as they did for full service. There was just a young man in there so I didn't argue with him. Josh has been scratching like crazy ever since we picked him up so we are done with Bark Avenue. Also the deshed does not work. As I said, I've used this place for years because it is so convenient and i always got deshed and it's great - big difference in shedding after. Both times I took Josh there was no difference.Everyone is so nice. The groomers seem to really care about my fur babies which makes me feel more comfortable leaving them. The pricing is great for the quality and care I receive. I've gone to other groomers but will use Bark Avenue whenever possible. They are by far my favorite. They also accommodate Spanish speaking patrons.

I was truly impressed!! I had called a number of groomers and she was the only one that was able to get me in. She was so professional and being it was his first time she even called to make sure I was satisfied by asking if I wanted him cut more. When I went to pick him up the place is nice and smells good!!! Definitely will be taking him there from now on!!!

Everything was good, until it wasn’t. Sorry for the length, this needs context.Initially I liked everything about it. The woman who was taking care of my puppy, at the first visit here is my 6 month Bouvier, was one of the most pleasant, professional and personally invested groomers I met. Bouvier’s need a LOT of attention paid to their grooming so I was offered a deal. The deal was, I bring my dog in every two to three weeks, I get a cheaper price for the basic maintenance grooming and then when it comes time for a full cut, I pay the same price I paid for the basic maintenance. Great deal, I was happy with her work and attitude so I agreed. This particular groomer suddenly left with no notice. It happens. Another groomer, she seemed like the manager, took over. She and I ensured the same deal was in place, and it was. Bouvier’s have a particular head cut. They have a fall and a beard that grows gloriously. When I picked him up, his fall was cut completely away. The beard was trimmed down more than it should’ve been. I was upset but didn’t show it. I told her the mistake, she seemed to understand, no harm it’ll grow back. My Bouvier is now a year old and the “deal” has been great and it’s time for his first full cut. I mistakenly missed my drop off time, I accept the error and take full responsibility. The groomer, before she even said good morning plainly states “The deal is off”. My response was “What are you talking about”. She repeated herself, added the owner cancelled it then added I have to reschedule. The attitude was far different and void of any pleasantries. I was angry, but didn’t show it. They offered me a deal, I accept and uphold my end of it. When it comes time for the full cut they cancel the deal. I simply told her I need to find someone else. She replied and I left. Very disappointing and is a bad way to do business with a loyal customer who was sure to continue visits. Had she said, this will be the last time we can offer the deal, or even said “I’m sorry but..l” I’m certain we could’ve come to an understanding and things worked out. I understand business needs to make profit so I’m not opposed to paying a fair price. They offered me something, I accepted and when it came time for them to do their part, they coldly cancelled and that was that. Bad business and terrible treatment of a loyal customer despite occasional short comings. Other than that, they did a good job.

Nadja(?) was incredibly loving and gentle with Cody. She knew he was scared and took extra steps to help him feel safer with the dryer and then the haircut. She is a sensitive, animal-loving and kind person. I would trust her with any of my dogs. And she did an excellent job on Cody’s haircut too. Thank you for making sure my pup had a good experience and doing such a great job.

Bark Avenue groomed my border collie Chloe and did an excellent job. The groomer asked what I wanted for my dog and they delivered exactly what I asked for. The price for bathing, de-shedding and light trim was very reasonable. I will be taking Chloe back to Bark Avenue all her grooming needs.
