Came in at night, door was opened not locked. Grabbed my items walked around looking for a worker and a night shift guy working at the freezer was rude telling me do I see the closing sign? Well did you see your door was opened?? Be glad I didn’t walk out with your items while you were listening to music being distracted on what’s going on around you. Try being more respectful to people that respects your store enough to actually look around and not steal your items . Guarantee if it was someone else you guys totally would’ve got robbed for so much leaving your door unlocked and unattended like that.

Food Lion is usually well-stocked and I love that they have a huge variety of items in various brands. The weekly sales are a bonus. The only con for me is, as of late, it's hard to actually see more than 1 or 2 checkout cashiers open/available so you usually have to do self-checkout.

Easy in and out after work. Friendly helpful young staff. Refit and remodeling nearing completion with a self checkout that mimics the corral of Wal-Mart self checkout. Attendant present to help immediately with age restricted alcohol et al.

To store Manager;Stopped in on 1/10/22. I am a elderly lady and had a cart full of groceries. I lost my Food lion card and cashier assisted me with purchases.Ms. Jannette Phillips was loading my cart for me. We struck up conversation and she was kind enough to help me order another Food Lion card! She also inquired if I needed help loading my groceries. She is a very pleasant and personable woman! She is a valuable asset to Food Lion! Thank you Jannette for your compassion and grace.

Would like to see more Baby Swiss cheese as well as Pastrami. Freshly cooked baked chicken also would be nice. All in all, this is a good store and improving all of the time.Agree with your question that other ratings were about 4.3. Cashiers need to focus on what they’re doing. The lady scanned my items while talking to another person got side tracked and misplaced my bag with another customers bag. Now I paid for a item I didn’t receive and the other customer got a free item thanks to the cashier. Mistakes like these need to come out of their paycheck honestly so they take their position more seriously

My friend and I stopped by Food Lion on our way to the fishing hole. We were looking for a cooler. We talked to 3 different ladies: Connie (Manager)McKenzie ?( Food Lion to go) andSendelia (RPC)All 3 ladies were super nice and went out of their way to help us. Even dragging out a cooler from the back to show us. My friend and I were so appreciative and impressed. Customer Service like that is hard to find these days. God Bless y'all. You deserve a raise!!

I grace the doors of our local Farmville Food Lion so much that I have honestly considered asking if I can have for a tax free deduction from my paycheck. Always clean. We never have to wait. They carry everything we need and then some.

A great grocery store chain located mostly in southern States, the prices are decent. I brought a jar of organic sourkraut for $1.89 and it was delicious when I paired it with my Oscar Myers nitrite free hot dogs, they were $4.79 but worth every penny! The market is clean and the staff are courteous.

I love my Farmville FoodLion the store is always clean. The bathrooms too. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional. I would have given them 5 stars but they don’t provide delivery with their instant cart. Which would be nice considering Farmville is small and we have ALOT of elderly people that can’t drive. Me myself can’t drive so I would definitely use their delivery service if it was provided.

Best variety. Some things are a bit pricey, but if you use your MVP card, you get a discount. MVP cards are free. Just ask for one at checkout, and they will scan it. Items on sale using the MVP are marked. This is my favorite place to buy groceries. More variety than Carlie C's and not as packed as Wal-Mart. They have gluten free items, dairy free ice cream, and so much more. Love this place!

I want to say to McKenzie, the caucasian cashier that made a point to speak to the caucasian family in front of me; however, when I came along, she did not acknowledge my presence and was throwing all of my items across the runner, she gave her cellular device more attention than me, there was no "Hi, how are you?, or "Thank you, have a nice day.", NOTHING! I felt insulted and belittled. Additionally, upon calling the store (9 times), no one ever picked up when selecting option (3) for speaking with the general manager. So, at this time, I just tested my luck and called every department until I could reach someone. Finally, Thanks to the Deli Department and mainly thanks to (Makayla) for answering the phones and being such a great employee; she sympathized with me. As I did not even initially know the caucasian cashier's name and was describing my experience, she could describe the young lady as if this was not her first encounter or behavior with customers. To the general manager (Connie Dixon), if you can provide better coaching and training experience to this lady, I highly recommend it, in fact, perhaps going over not intentionally offering excellent service to one and then making it an effort to treat the next person wrong and for no reason at all!!!!

Waited a better part of 5 min for customer service with the assistance manager ,standing their playing of notable.Hostility is always present in the store, several associates ,has said with the slang of the cashier , who they call cheap,mean, don't try to get for change or try to short them change, I rarely go anymore, I go where the environment is alott less aggravable.
