I called right at closing time on Wednesday and asked about getting my dog checked because he had been sick a couple of days. They were able to get us in at 8 on Thursday. They did a very thorough check and gave us what we needed. They were very loving to my dog as well as gentle.

Amazing Vets. Has been with them about 3.5 years. They are great will find a way to see us in emergency's, my last vet had an emergen and they send me to an Emergency Vet . Call Fairview animal hospital and they saw us same day and were not clients.The staff is caring and loves their vets.

The staff at Fairview Animal Hospital are amazingly kind and compassionate. I will forever be grateful for ALL they did to get my sweet cat , Journey, on the road to recovery. Journey had been lost in North Carolina for over 70 days and was finally recovered. She needed surgery asap and all the local vets in town were booked (including fairview). Despite being booked for the day the staff at Fairview animal hospital worked Journey into the schedule and made sure she was given the best care. I am so thankful for everyone there and all they did for my sweet Journey. Journey is doing wonderful these days back at home in Tennessee. Highly recommend this animal hospital.

Nanners (or Snanners) gets the very best care here. She's quite a brat at the vet - and so good care can be difficult for her. She's sweet at home but defensive in unfamiliar settings.The staff here are patient, gentle, and continually find new ways to help Nanners be calm, comfortable, and safe. We love you Fairview!!

So far, I have only had good experiences with this veterinarian office.The clinic is lovingly decorated. I appreciated the comfort supplied by the care for the facility and beautiful artwork.The staff were very kind and loving to my prescious kitty. He was treated very well during his visit.I felt that this location paid good caution to COVID19 prevention procedures.

My family has been going to FAH since I was in high school. I am 34. The staff are friendly, helpful, and gracious and all of the veterinarians are wonderful. Dr. Lloyd and Dr. Hutsell have both known my 9 year old Airedale since she was about 12 weeks old and have always provided her with excellent care. I am disabled and on a limited income and FAH has always worked with me to make sure my baby gets the care she needs. I recently saw Dr. Klesius for the first time and she was kind, listened to and heard my concerns, and was very thorough. You can’t go wrong choosing to take care of your furbabies with Fairview Animal Hospital.

Fairview Animal Hospital has an incredibly friendly staff and they are professional and quick to assist you in any way that they can. We recently had one of our cats get diagnosed with feline diabetes. They have done an amazing job educating us and understanding that it is all a bit overwhelming. They are great about giving us options of how to deal with it in the way that is best for our family. They definitely understand that everyone is on a budget and give you various choices without making you feel guilty if you choose the lesser option. I feel like we are a team working together to care for our pets. The facility is immaculately clean and welcoming. I highly recommend them.

The support staff is wonderful, loving, caring ! We are not happy however, with the veterinary care our elderly cat received yesterday. She was completely misdiagnosed and inadequately treated by Dr. Lloyd, whose unconcerned and condescending manner with me did not help. We have gone to this clinic before as it is convenient to our remote home, but our visit yesterday will be our last. Luckily, we decided to get another opinion, and our old girl immediately improved with the proper care and a much lower bill. We love our animals and expect our veterinarians to treat them(and us)with respect and concern.

When Dr. Elaine Klesius left her previous vet, we followed her to Fairview. It's a little out of our way, but she's great with our dog, knowledgable re meds & treatments, not to mention extremely pleasant. On the downside, their website is a disaster and in an age where everyone pays with credit, they have a sign saying that there's an extra 3.5% charge if you use credit. Why not just include the 3.5% in the price? Nevertheless, we go there for Dr. Klesius.

best vet around. seriously i take my dogs here no matter what, no matter where i’m living at (wnc). the upmost compassionate women who work here, treat me as their own daughter here. they are understanding and try their best to reach an accommodation with you if you are struggling a little bit financially. they make me feel like family there and are always so sweet and helpful, and treat me with complete love and warmth. every time i go there, i know it’s gonna be a good experience. i’ve been going here for over 10 years for veterinary care and not one time have i ever had an unpleasant experience, especially regarding my interactions with the staff. this place seriously has the best woman in asheville working there. if i ever take my animals anywhere else, it for sure won’t be because i’m dissatisfied with the care received.

My sweet dog Stella was stung by a bee yesterday and acted very unusual. I have never seen her like that so I was very concerned.When I called, receptionist lady calmly guided me through what to do. Stella is all better now and I'm so thankful!!! Receptionist could've told me to bring her in and charge vet bills but instead, she calmly help me through the stressful time. I'm so thankful to know they are just one phone call away during emergency situation.Stella has been going there since we adopted her and Dr. Lloyd always greets her with love and care. You can tell how much he loves dogs by watching him adoring our sweet pup. Thank you for all you do!! We truly appreciate your care and service.

These people have taken care of mine and my family's dogs and cats for almost a decade now. Always a great experience-- my dog hates going to the vet but they make it way easier. My grandmother worries her butt off about her dogs which causes her to call these poor people a several times a week sometimes, and they have been nothing but kind and helpful towards her.

My pups got very sick and I was in and out of the clinic for a week straight even on the weekends. Dr. Hutsell and staff were so great about the all worried calls I made and so compassionate about our situation. I know my fur babies received the absolute highest level of care. I would recommend them to anyone looking for veterinarian services.

I moved to Fairview NC from Swannanoa NC and wanted to establish a relationship with a local veterinary hospital. There were two close to select from and one sort of nearby. I looked at their office hours and selected the Fairview Animal Hospital. I loved that the Doctor spent a lot of time on my first visit and had a great bedside manner. I have been back since and will continue this relationship as I believe this organization really cares about the animals who come to them for their services. The front desk people and the vet assistants are all quite nice. If you are looking for a quality vet this is one you should visit.

If I could rate zero Stars I would. Took my dog there four times because he couldn't urinate or make a good bowel movement. The doctor charged me for four re-exams, all for the same thing and kept giving a steroid shot and something else. Turned out he had a blockage in his urinary tract. His bladder finally exploded last night and the infection killed him. Thank you very much doctor Lloyd. you have no business as a veterinarian. That swollen area under his butt was NOT fatty tissue. It was his blatter swelling!! Please learn how to listen to the people that bring their animal friends in. We know our animals. You seem to be wrong a lot. Not a good profession for you. Shame on you.
