New to NC worried about finding a new vet. I lucked out here!! The veterinarian was amazing…my dog had been missing in the woods for 5 days and he is a 13 yr old lab so of course I wanted him checked out for injuries. This office got us in ASAP…the staff and the vet herself were so kind to us and our dog. They took their time with him, checked everything, gave us prescriptions and showed us everything we needed to do to nurse our old boy back to health. No other place in our area would even try to accommodate us, but this caring animal clinic did!! We could never thank them enough for everything they did!! And the fees are reasonable which is always a help to us all!!

Beware!! I've had other issues since these new doctors took over but the main problem is they always want to sedate your animal if they don't know how to handle them. And then they sedate them and overmedicate. I had to revive my dog twice. My friend's dog was sedated and died. Another friend I talked to said they had to revive their dog after they sedated him. I have taken my cats and dogs here for 30 years but since Dr Johnston left I will go elsewhere. Definitely would not recommend them.

Got Ellie in quickly. Vet and staff were very nice. Took care with my girl. Gave me follow up appointment. Not as expensive as vets in the city. Lucky to have them!

My husband was telling me about the rude guy at the dest well today I seen it he was so rude and proudI have been at gates county vet for almost 20 years and let me tell you I drive an hour to go there and at least 300 or more we bread shepherds or puppies bill is over 500 and we do that 2 times a year well no more I am going to find another vet I will not put up with such a rude person I WANT MISS PEGGY BACK and wendy is cool to but I'm done with that place

I have been going to GCAC for years and have always had the best quality of care for my pets and supreme kindness to me and my family. My dog recently had to have surgery and I can't begin to describe the level of care and professionalism of everyone there. I will continue going here forever.

I just love Dr. Bose, she is absolutely the best. After being up with my cat, thinking nothing but the worst... and after accepting my cat as a walk in, in just a few minutes she had me crying for real, but this time I was crying tears of joy!!! Again I do love her!!!!

boarded my pup, they didn't allow her to take a toy with her, when there were other dogs taking toys. We asked for her to be bathe, groomed and treated for whatever she needed. When we picked her up, smelled like she had been outside for days, eyes were crusty and she was shedding very bad. That was the second time it had happened. The medication prescribed for fleas and ticks isn't working. under new management, do not recommend.

Dr. Peggy and her team are awesome! Our dog was severely injured about six weeks ago. We had an initial surgery with an overnight stay and several follow ups since then and we are very pleased with the level of care that we have received.

We recently had an emergency with our kitten and the staff at the clinic were SO kind, SO helpful, and SO thorough. They checked in with us frequently and (as far as I'm concerned) performed a miracle on our little guy. What would have cost us close to a thousand dollars anywhere else was less than a third of that. I was highly impressed and will be going back.

The care here is amazing! The vet spent over an hour with us when we brought our dog in with an unknown condition. They really care about the well being of the animals and are very transparent about your treatment options. They are also very affordable.

Best Vet in the area. It's 35 minutes away from home, but the pet care is excellent! We have tried them all! Have been using GCAC for at least 8 years now. Compassionate, thorough, terrific staff. Love them.
