I had a pretty decent time there. I like that they are dog friendly and even had some treats in case any puppers show up. It was a Tuesday after work so please take that into consideration. It was very clean, a lot of options on tap and the bartender was very friendly! I love the cage for photo opportunities and that they had not one but TWO shuffle boards was amazing! They were even in good shape! The crowd was on the older side but again, this was a Tuesday. I can tell it would be very busy on the weekends especially when tourist season starts up.

We were visiting this weekend and decided to walk over and have a beer and check out the music, out of nowhere a huge storm came in and knocked out internet. The bartender was nice enough to call us an Uber so we wouldn’t get completely soaked. She was the only bartender and was on top of everything.

Anytime we visit Emerald Isle, this is our go-to brewery. Delicious beer, bar games, super dog friendly. Must try DEEP RIVER sours based in NC. Tourists during the day, locals at night.

One of my favorite places to frequent when I am on the Isle! Fantastic beer list that is always changing. Large facility so never feels overcrowded. Some fun games to play and one of those jukeboxes you can program from your phone! If there's a downside… it is that for non-beer drinkers, options are limited. Also there is no food, which is always shortsighted for a bar… The more people eat the more they drink! Anyway, I am a self proclaimed beer snob and I love this place!

We come here every year. They always have friendly staff and a great selection of beer. This year was no different. I have enjoyed watching this place grow from a tiny hole in the wall sharing space with their ceramic growler business, to taking over the entire space and expanding to a second location. Nice place to stop for a drink. Good selection of local craft beers. The bartender was friendly. Service was fast. It would be nice if the had crawlers to get beer to go in. I would definitely recommend this place and would stop again when in Emerald Isle.

Couldn’t have said it better than this patron: great beer but it would’ve been a lot more fun if the bartender didn’t have flat affect. a few suggestions: smile, engage in light conversation, and offer your guests another pour as their glasses empty - not after they sit 15 minutes with nothing to drink and are on their way out the door. in other words: rude service unless the bartender knows you.

Great bar! Definitely a hangout for locals... but we are from out of town and felt very welcome! Everybody was very nice. Very dog friendly place. Good selection of beers (both on tap and in the cooler). Non-alcohol options if you need that.We will be back!

This place reminds me of a beer shop I worked at back home. The bartenders are so warm and the space is just as relaxed as you want in the day, but as lively as you want at night. My only complaint is their regulars during the day are literally all past middle aged men that spurt out the n-word. Not a fan of that, but that isn't necessarily the bar's fault. And the bartender corrects them when they start making other people around uncomfortable, which is what amazing bartenders do.

I popped into this bar with some friends on a Thursday night and was very glad to have found this local spot. We played a cards game in a corner, brought in a pizza from a local pizza place, and felt so relaxed. The bartender on duty that night was wonderful. She made sure that our drinks were topped off and always had a bubbly attitude. We are looking forward to back tot he bar often for our weekly card night. I would recommend this spot for locals to gather in!

No ambiance. Staff was pleasant enough, but not overly gracious. Beer selection included about two of the most popular styles, plus one or two adventurous taps.Decent place to get a growler filled or have a beer, but it's not a place you want to hang out in.

Best social spot on the island! Great beer, friendly service, amazing events/tap takeovers, and all around great atmosphere! Supportive local environment, with a run club that meets Monday at 6:30PM. Dog friendly #woofOnly thing that could make this place better is a fenced back area that could be used as a mini dog park

We loved the atmosphere, the seat cushions, the shuffleboard, music, the server was very friendly, the beer and blackberry cider was unique. We would definitely go back again.I love that you can bring dogs in a place like this! And they let us bring in our own pizza from down the road.

Beer was good, prices were acceptable, but I find it absolutely disgusting that dogs are allowed into the brewery. It's a food establishment! And generally against the health codes in most states...What was even more gross was the bartender fed the dog a treat (with the dog licking her hand) and she went back to pouring beer without washing her hands.Nice location (albeit, small lot), good beer but kinda gross.

we stopped here last year when they first opened and knew it would be popular. Went in today great beer my husband hada stout and just absolutely delicious and we found a beer served from home now they have wine to serve for people like me that are not beer drinkers pretty young crowd in there and we are an older couple but were treated just is friendly as everyone else this is a great little Tavern
