This is a great place with awesome views! The food here is fresh, great tasting, and served the way you want it. The tuna was fantastic and all the fried foods were light tasting, not too heavy on the oil, and the cole slaw was spot on. Our server was great. Only reason 8 have service 4 stars was it took a while to get drinks (from the bar). We'll be back for sure!

Great service. Awesome location. 5 stars for each.Honestly underwhelmed by the food. I've had better shrimp in Raleigh. Potato salad was okay. I suggest diced pickles for texture and flavor to carry the bigger chunks of potatoes.The location is the best where you can watch the sunset over the beach. It has a ramp for those who need that. During on season the parking is paid but they'll give you a waiver if you eat here. My suggestion would be to come here for dessert and pier walk. My fourth visit and, if not for the decor and atmosphere overlooking the beach, would have been 1 and done.

I’ve traveled to the area for work a bunch of times and always make sure I stop by this place. Really great service, amazing people! Great food and being beachfront is a plus. They went above and beyond for me and I am extremely thankful. I forgot to get a copy of my receipt that I needed for work and they took the time to look it up and text me a picture copy of it. That’s a lot to ask of a busy restaurant and really reflects on just how great the people are there. Thank you!

My favorite place to eat at Emerald Isle! I love the atmosphere and especially being eating at the bar overlooking the pier and beach. The food has always been fantastic! This time I ordered the aloha burger with hush puppies and my husband had the grouper basket. My burger was great and of course the hush puppies are always the best. The grouper basket was loaded - so much food! We definitely went home with a box. Their Bloody Mary is great also, by the way.

The food here is delicious! This is the second time I’ve come here and they didn’t disappoint. The staff is excellent and very kind!I got the blackened salmon over rice with broccoli. The salmon was delicious and cooked perfectly! Also, the broccoli was steamed to my liking without having to even say anything.I definitely plan on coming back!Dietary restrictions: I’m allergic to shrimp and was able to safely eat here after telling my waitress.

Great hot fast food. Have been to Emerald Isle for years and never knew about this place, and it appears to be our loss. Very well decorated and bright. Loved the window seats where we enjoyed watching the dolphins. The server was spot on and knew the menu. The food portion exceeded the price based on other local restaurants that do not even have the fantastic views. We will return and hope they keep the same standards. I can normally eat my entire meal but had to tap out, which is a compliment. Worth the visit, plenty of parking, get a window seat.

Outside atmosphere on the deck is great, inside it feels packed and noisy. Right on the beach makes up for it though, love the pier, you can just walk or fish from the pier.Best beach spot place 4th of July fireworks with your feet in the water while watching the magic 🎉🎉

I got the grouper platter with added shrimp ($7 more). Its a lot of food, definitely shareable. The tots and broccoli is an upcharge ($2 ea) because the platter comes with fries and coleslaw. I sat at the bar and the service was great. Definitely southern hospitality is served here at least by the bartenders that day. I cannot speak of the other services as I did not utilize them. I also LOVE the fact that they automatically give plasticware (Horrible experience with silverware and restaurants, so I always ask for plastic now)Parking: The parking was free the day I went and was easy to find a spot, however, it did get busy after 6pm and maybe harder to find a spot because the fishing pier and the beach is right there at the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: The kids could walk on the pier while waiting to be seated as well outside eating options

We stopped here on our way to Morehead City, where we were going to stay. We had some very cold beers and an appetizer of potatoes with bacon and cheese, delicious. It is very well located, with incredible views of the ocean. It is a restaurant with a very original and comfortable decoration. It was pretty busy and the waitress took a while to serve us, but we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a big deal. From the restaurant you can go out to the pier. We did not pay for parking since there were no prices or machines to do so. I recommend this place.

Eat here at least once while fishing at the pier. Love the food and atmosphere. Kind of bums me they discontinued the crab cake sandwich, it was delicious!Parking: This parking lot also services the people going to the beach and are out on the pier. During the week it is free. Friday, Saturday Sunday there is a fee.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that leads from the parking lot up to the front door. There is also handicap parking at the front of the lot.

The food was great and the views from the restaurant are superb! Our waitress, who I believe was Ashley, was THE sweetest thing. She was patient and kind to my grandfather who was at a fish restaurant and didn't like fish. She helped him figure out what to eat and took very good care of us up to the end of our visit. We'll go again when we travel that way next!Dietary restrictions: My father is a pescatarian which made this a wonderful place for him to find diverse food options at. Parking: There's plenty of parking for all of the stores in that pier shopping area!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a very nice ramp that leads up to the store, restaurant and out onto the pier if you'd like.

Love the food and oceanfront pier scenery can't be beat! Nachos are very good (ask for jalapenos), burgers are great, and fried shrimp basket is really good too. Prices aren't too bad for the beach. Bar is great with many locals frequenting it. Saturday nights music bingo is lots of fun! Don't be offended by the plastic silverware.

This place was everything a northern girl could ask of for a taste of the southern coast. Everything about the surf shack style atmosphere with the view of water made me feel cozy, and the food was cooked perfectly. I could have devoured several dozen baskets of those hush puppies. Will definitely be coming back here if given the chance!

Chill beach vibes and yummy beach food. It’s really just that~beach food. The stuff that sticks to your belly after a long day swimming and chasing down the kiddos in the water. We ordered some specialty burgers and shrimp nachos and took them out to the beach. So good!!!! The buns still had a crisp to them and the fries were still hot after walking back to the beach with my kiddos. They devoured everything. Can’t wait to visit again in the future. 🍔🍤🌊👍🏽

Highly recommended!! Fantastic atmosphere, great view of the beach and pier, delicious food and cocktails, great customer service! We had the penne Alfredo with blackened shrimp, garlic butter steak, and the loaded tater tots that were amazing! I will definitely come back. 10/10 👍🏻

The location and atmosphere are great but we found the to be way overpriced for the serving size and lacking any flavor. Even considering the location on the island it was still overpriced in our opinion for what you get. A small serving of pasta with broccoli was $22. And the “garlic bread” that came with it was a soggy piece of white bread with some burnt butter on top. And for that much money it was served in a plastic container with plastic utensils and the plastic knife couldn’t even cut the broccoli. (We were dining in, not take out) We wanted to love the place since the location is great but unfortunately we will not be returning.
