Very rude staff. Every time I go in there they watch you like you’re going to steal. Asked if they take ace rewards and the girl says very rude “we don’t take that “. I’m never going there again. All the other ace stores are amazing and very welcoming.

This Ace was a huge disappointment……not a single person asked if they could help and when I finally found what I was looking for I proceeded to checkout. Young lady at checkout was very unpleasant when I asked about the sale price and she informed me that they don’t have to follow advertised price. When I showed her the price on THEIR website she said they don’t follow it…period! So my take-away from wandering around this over stocked tiny store…if you want to buy a t-shirt, kite or sunglasses go across the street to the surf shop and if you need a real hardware store go a mile up the road to the new TSC or go opposite way from this establishment just a couple of miles to Atlantic Beach ACE Hardware…….The added drive will be well worth your time!

Ace is the place. . . for random handyman stuff! If you're looking to replace a broken part and it looks like you need 4" of steel that's 5/16 square, you can head to Ace and it's a good bet they have something in stock you can cut down to size.Reasonable prices for small amounts of miscellaneous fasteners etc.Knowledgeable sales persons!

Has everything that you need for a wide range of activities, they don't have it you won't need it. Definitely a different selection than Lowe's which is always a plus

They're an amazing and super helpful store with friendly staff including adorable working cats; but their decision not to carry ammunition at their location is extremely disappointing to me as a local when I hear about other ACEs all around the USA that still carry ammunition for sale in their doors.

Was meeting my son for lunch today and had a few minutes to spare.I’m a bit of a hardware store aficionado…I feel I must leave a review noting that this is probably the cleanest, best organized and well stocked hardware store I’ve visited in ages!!!Almost wanted to buy something just to buy something!Don’t be put off by the small size in comparison to the corporate big bix..you might shocked what they fit in this store!!!Staff was also EXCEPTIONALLY polite and helpful.Great job!!

Full time EI resident. I have spent thousands of dollars here trying to support local. Not anymore. Not one more dollar is going to this over priced and outdated business.You open a ballistic plastic package the only way you can and they won’t allow a return for store credit saying they can’t put it back in the shelf. The return policy is archaic. Pricing in predatory due to a lack of competition on Emerald Isle.This is why people go to Lowe’s, Home Depot and Walmart. Like Gaffers, they will survive in spite of poor service due to location.

Customer service is what these folks do! As soon as I walked in I was asked if they could assist with anything and the young man walked me to the products I needed. I was in and out in less than 3 minutes. Had I visited a big box store it might have been a half hour trying to find what I needed. Ace has a surprisingly large selection. I was able to get a coax cable AND a microwaveable bowl. When you're on vacation, you don't want to be in a store, you want your toes in the sand. Besides all that, I met Ace the cat, who made sure I was greeted on the way out. This is a top knotch operation that is well stocked and great location for the Emerald Isle side of the island.

Rude young woman First she was moving a dolly in a fashion that kept blocking my wife Even after her coworker asked her to move. Then while checking out she informed my wife that they dont use ace rewards although the store website promotes the Ace points. We will choose another store in the future I would be remiss in not acknowledging the Very helpful Gentleman in the paint department..one rude employee ruins the experience sadly

Just about anything you need for your house/garden/yard, you can find it here. Staff is very helpful and courteous but usually very busy helping customers, so you might have to wait a couple of minutes to get what you need.

This place is very handy, and it is staffed by friendly and helpful people. They have a little of everything, and they sell some very good beach gear. I got my favorite beach chair there several years ago, and it is going strong. They are a good place to check if you find yourself short on kitchen stuff, and naturally, they have a range of tools.

I needed some pvc connections for my pool filter and Lowes had nothing close to what I needed without adapting a half dozen pieces together. I came here and there is a vast selection of plumbing fittings and people who actually have knowledge of what they are doing. I was hooked up with what I wanted in less than a minute.

This place is OUTSTANDING!!!!! I never take the time to write reviews however, I had to express my appreciation for this place. I recently bought a house on the island and I have been to this store numerous of times. The customer service is unbelievable!!!!! This store has EVERYTHING!!!! you could want or need, If you ever go to Emerald Isle you need to stop by and check this place out. When friends come to visit I always take them to this store and they always leave in amazement. I have never Been in a better Ace hardware or anything even close EVER!!!!!

It amazes me how people cannot even apologize for a mistake. Bought 2 hoses today and they were on the wrong shelf and not priced properly. Cost me double the marked price. Instead of apologizing and saying I am sorry, they simply ignored the fact that it happened. I understand mistakes happen but at least acknowledge the fact that it happened. What chapped me even more was I believe it was the the actual owner who checked me out. Guess money outweighs simple human kindness and understanding.

We live off the island but cross the bridge go here because of their CUSTOMER SERVICE! The staff is always knowledgeable and very helpful. The store boasts a surprisingly wide array of products not typically associated with smaller hardware stores, on our opinion.
